Additionally, many of these works contain extended vocal techniques and demand vocal colors generally unexplored in accompanied repertoire. The exposed nature of solo unaccompanied art song may encourage artistic individuality and self-reliance, and these skills may transfer directly to accompanied repertoire. The resources provided in this project serve as an entry point for the vocal community to explore these works.
