When his search takes him to earth, he meets Kayla Abernathy, a young doctor with a quick mind and not much of a life outside of her work. She's never studied anything like the plague wiping out Khaos' people, or Khaos himself even, but for some reason she can't say no to his request for help, or the romance blooming between them, even if it means getting caught up with the Vekosh who want to stop her from completing her cure at any cost.
