Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book contains a Sci-Fi novel up front, with twenty years of Ufology research in the back. Alien Park, Dunes Parks have rules, regulations and pathways to follow. They also have posted warning signs to help keep the public safe. This park has some extra considerations for their guests: Your entire visit will be watched and recorded by the U.S. Government and visiting Alien beings. There's a ten percent chance that you will be taken by the Aliens for study sometime during your stay. There's a five percent chance that if taken, you will not return. There's a two percent chance that if taken and returned, you will remember it. National Park Ranger John Sloan is close to retirement after his nineteen years of service. He has requested a different park location to wind down and finish his career. When settled at the next park he notices that he doesn't fit in well with his co-workers. He doesn't realize that the other Rangers have all been handpicked for this park having special training and high level security clearances. All will soon realize that he was relocated to the wrong park. During his first week on the job, a child goes missing and the search is on--but not really. That bothers John--a lot. When his fellow Rangers fail to follow proper search procedures, he embarks on a quest to find the child on his own. It is then that he unravels a conspiracy between the U.S. Government and visiting Aliens. This 480 page book is the second in a series reviewing Alien and UFO activities in the North American Southwest. It has 100 plus maps, photos, sketches and diagrams for review. The first book was Southwest UFO Triangle Theory.

Book excerpt: “Rick Wilber has written the best "first contact" story I've seen in decades: deeply human, eerily alien, and altogether an exciting, moving and thought-provoking novel.” --Ben Bova The fate of two civilizations depends on one troubled family in Rick Wilber's science-fiction adventure Alien Morning. Peter Holman is a freelance sweeper. The year 2030 sees a new era in social media with sweepcasting, a multisensory interface that can convey every thought, touch, smell, sight, and sound, immersing the audience in another person's experience. By fate, chance, or some darker design, Peter is perfectly positioned to be the one human to document the arrival of the aliens, the S'hudonni. The S'hudonni offer advanced science in exchange for various trade goods from Earth. But nothing is as simple as it seems. Peter finds himself falling for, Heather Newsome a scientist chosen by the S'hudonni to act as their liaison. Engaged to his brilliant marine biologist brother, Tom, Heather is not what she seems. But Peter has bigger problems. While he and his brother fight over long-standing family troubles, another issue looms: a secret war among the aliens, who are neither as benevolent nor as unified as they first seemed. Peter slowly learns secrets he was never meant to know, about the S'hudonni, and about his own family. Realizing that he has been used, he can only try to turn his situation around, to save what he can of his life and of the future of Earth. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sculpted into graceful contours by countless centuries of wind and water, the Great Sand Dunes sprawl along the eastern fringes of the vast San Luis Valley of south-central Colorado. Covering an area of nearly thirty square miles, they are the tallest aeolian, or wind-produced, dunes in North America, towering 750 feet above the valley floor. With the addition of the enormous Baca Ranch and other adjacent lands, the dunes—originally designated as a National Monument in 1932—attained official National Park status in 2004. In Sea of Sand, Michael M. Geary guides readers on a historical journey through this unique ecosystem, which includes an array of natural and cultural wonders, from the main dunefield and verdant wetlands to the summits of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Described by explorer Zebulon Pike as “a sea in a storm” and by frontier photographer William Henry Jackson as “a curious and very singular phase of nature’s freak,” the Great Sand Dunes are a nexus of more than 10,000 years of human history, from Paleolithic big-game hunters to nomadic Native Americans, from Spanish conquistadores and transcontinental explorers to hard-rock miners and modern-day tourists in motor homes. Like these successive waves of visitors, Sea of Sand follows the water, analyzing its critical role in the settlement and development of the region. Geary also describes the profound impact that waves of human use and settlement have had on the land—which ultimately inspired the early grassroots efforts by San Luis Valley citizens to protect the dunes from further exploitation. He examines as well the more recent legislative effort led by an unprecedented coalition of local, state, and federal agencies and organizations, including The Nature Conservancy and the National Park Service, to secure the Great Sand Dunes’ national park designation. Amply illustrated, Sea of Sand is the definitive history of the natural, cultural, and political forces that helped shape this incomparable landscape.

Book excerpt: Southern Colorados unique Great Sand Dunes rise to a height of 750 feet above the San Luis Valley floor and are the nations highest dunes not adjacent to an ocean or lake. The sweeping dunes were protected as a national monument in 1932 and as a national park in 2000. From prehistoric hunter-gatherers to the historic Ute Indian tribe, inhabitants have long used the resources of the land around the dunes. Zebulon Pike was the first American explorer to witness the dunes in 1807, followed by a long procession of other explorers, ranchers, and miners. Today, visitors from around the world come to climb up and slide down the dunes in Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the next look at Roswell and the 1947 UFO crash Incident. It is a big picture review of the before and after. It gives a possible reason for UFO sightings and activities in the Colorado, New Mexico and Texas areas. It helps to explain why a UFO could have crashed so near to Roswell. It shows a 1946 and 1996 aerial photo of the reported crash site and a Government effort to hideaway the same area from aerial photos for the fifty years in between. "Andrew Oien has revealed his thought process and research capabilities in this work. His findings suggest that good photos of the era for the 1947 Ragsdale crash site are being intentionally withheld to prevent detailed analysis." -Dr. Robert M. Wood, UFO researcher, MUFON Board member "The material in this book is a new look at what has actually been in our faces forever. It reminds me of the term "You cannot see the forest because of the trees." In this case, you cannot see what is right in front of you until you connect the dots. The dots have been connected. The findings are interesting and very curious to say the least." -Steve Hudgeons, MUFON State Director - Texas 2012 "Thanks for sending your material to read on the Roswell incident" -(The late) Charlton Heston About the Author Andrew has had an interest in Sci-Fi movies from the time he could watch them in the 1960s. As a child and young teen he had a high interest in reading the investigative stories of the Hardy Boys and Sherlock Holmes. He was a Boy Scout, is a Military Veteran and is an NRA member. His interest in the 1947 Roswell Incident began when his brother handed him a book on the subject in 1991. He began his research and writing after a visit to Roswell, New Mexico, in 1996. Ufology is one of his interesting pastimes. He has worked as a Mechanical Designer and Drafter for 20 plus years. Andrew is married, has a family and lives in So. California where he was born and raised.
