This short but stimulating story will introduce you to that answer. Written in two parts, one set in the present and the other in the near future with the implication that you are somewhere between these two stories, like it or not. And the trick is to figure out where that might be and then figure out how to capitalize on how you see the future unfolding, in alignment with Part 2. ***The best part... every futuristic idea presented in this writing is already in existence because as The Oracle of 4DStory, it was my job to first build it, then tell you about it. Dive into the thrilling narrative of "Mobius KEY 2.0," a novel that masterfully intertwines the realms of advanced technology, emotional intrigue, and human resilience. This tale, unfolding in two compelling parts, introduces the concept of Aethereal Intelligence as a counterbalance to the disruptive nature of Artificial Intelligence, painting a vivid picture of technological evolution and its impact on the human spirit. The first part of the book immerses you in a present-day scenario, where the characters grapple with the challenges and conundrums of existing technologies. As the story progresses into the second part, it transports readers into a visionary future, exploring the potential paths humanity could tread. Bridging these two parts is an invisible, imaginative space, inviting readers to envision their own journey in the evolution of mankind and on into the aether. Central to this narrative is Aliyah, a character whose emotional struggles and romantic adventures add depth and relatability to the story. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Ethereal Aether is a historical narrative of one of the great experiments in modern physical science. The fame of the 1887 Michelson-Morley aether-drift test on the relative motion of the earth and the luminiferous aether derives largely from the role it is popularly supposed to have played in the origins, and later in the justification, of Albert Einstein’s first theory of relativity; its importance is its own. As a case history of the intermittent performance of an experiment in physical optics from 1880 to 1930 and of the men whose work it was, this study describes chronologically the conception, experimental design, first trials, repetitions, influence on physical theory, and eventual climax of the optical experiment. Michelson, Morley, and their colleague Miller were the prime actors in this half-century drama of confrontation between experimental and theoretical physics. The issue concerned the relative motion of “Spaceship Earth” and the Universe, as measured against the background of a luminiferous medium supposedly filling all interstellar space. At stake, it seemed, were the phenomena of astronomical aberration, the wave theory of light, and the Newtonian concepts of absolute space and time. James Clerk Maxwell’s suggestion for a test of his electromagnetic theory was translated by Michelson into an experimental design in 1881, redesigned and reaffirmed as a null result with Morley in 1887, thereafter modified and partially repeated by Morley and Miller, finally completed in 1926 by Miller alone, then by Michelson’s team again in the late 1920s. Meanwhile Helmholtz, Kelvin, Rayleigh, FitzGerald, Lodge, Larmor, Lorentz, and Poincaré—most of the great names in theoretical physics at the turn of the twentieth century—had wrestled with the anomaly presented by Michelson’s experiment. As the relativity and quantum theories matured, wave-particle duality was accepted by a new generation of physicists. The aether-drift tests disproved the old and verified the new theories of light and electromagnetism. By 1930 they seemed to explain Einstein, relativity, and space-time. But in historical fact, the aether died only with its believers.

Book excerpt: When the Dramudam defense codes are compromised by the Utahar, Subcommander Trager must return to Forrorrois' covert base to upgrade the defense grid that protects Earth, completely unaware that Commander Collinar has already arrived, plotting to ensnare Earth in his vendetta against both the Dramudam and Forrorrois. Upon Trager's arrival, the forbidden passion between him and Forrorrois quickly reignites, but Collinar's personal feud with Forrorrois explodes into a game of cat and mouse, throwing Trager into the crossfire. Now, Forrorrois must fight to protect both her world and Trager without exposing her true identity as Danica Jolan to General Caldwell of the U.S. Air Force. If she's discovered, her family and USAF Colonel Jack Stern, her confidant, will be in grave danger. Her only chance is to delay Collinar from striking a trade agreement with a clandestine organization on Earth, which would provide Collinar a loophole in the Isolation Treaty of Nonspacefaring Worlds, and give the Dramudam time to send reinforcements. It's a race against time, with Forrorrois' heart hanging in the balance.

Book excerpt: This study combines ideas from many different disciplines and historical periods to yield a broad and penetrating analysis of T. S. Eliot's thinking about the relation between the material and spiritual worlds. Lockerd demonstrates that Eliot developed a poetic theory based on his antidualistic belief that mind and matter are not entirely separate, a theory that emphasizes natural symbols such as the elements and the seasonsnonarbitrary symbols rooted in our physical experience. The book thus offers a forceful response to those who would see Eliot as a precursor of so-called postmodern literary theory. Instead, Lockerd finds in Eliot's poetic theory and practice an attempt to achieve what is called in Four Quartets the "impossible union / Of spheres of existence."

Book excerpt: A stimulating intellectual history of Ptolemy's philosophy and his conception of a world in which mathematics reigns supreme The Greco-Roman mathematician Claudius Ptolemy is one of the most significant figures in the history of science. He is remembered today for his astronomy, but his philosophy is almost entirely lost to history. This groundbreaking book is the first to reconstruct Ptolemy’s general philosophical system—including his metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics—and to explore its relationship to astronomy, harmonics, element theory, astrology, cosmology, psychology, and theology. In this stimulating intellectual history, Jacqueline Feke uncovers references to a complex and sophisticated philosophical agenda scattered among Ptolemy’s technical studies in the physical and mathematical sciences. She shows how he developed a philosophy that was radical and even subversive, appropriating ideas and turning them against the very philosophers from whom he drew influence. Feke reveals how Ptolemy’s unique system is at once a critique of prevailing philosophical trends and a conception of the world in which mathematics reigns supreme. A compelling work of scholarship, Ptolemy’s Philosophy demonstrates how Ptolemy situated mathematics at the very foundation of all philosophy—theoretical and practical—and advanced the mathematical way of life as the true path to human perfection.

He's fought on real and magical battlefields alike, and now he's facing one of the greatest challenges yet. A tournament. A joyous spring event, the flower of the nobility will ride against each other for royal favor and acclaim. It's a political contest -- one which the Red Knight has the skill to win. But the stakes may be higher than he thinks. The court of Alba has been infiltrated by a dangerous faction of warlike knights, led by the greatest knight in the world: Jean de Vrailly -- and the prize he's fighting for isn't royal favor, but the throne of Alba itself... Book excerpt: In ancient Greece, philosophers developed new and dazzling ideas about divinity, drawing on the deep well of poetry, myth, and religious practices even as they set out to construct new theological ideas. Andrea Nightingale argues that Plato shared in this culture and appropriates specific Greek religious discourses and practices to present his metaphysical philosophy. In particular, he uses the Greek conception of divine epiphany - a god appearing to humans - to claim that the Forms manifest their divinity epiphanically to the philosopher, with the result that the human soul becomes divine by contemplating these Forms and the cosmos. Nightingale also offers a detailed discussion of the Eleusinian Mysteries and the Orphic Mysteries and shows how these mystery religions influenced Plato's thinking. This book offers a robust challenge to the idea that Plato is a secular thinker.
