Ainsi, comment l’ergothérapeute peut-il utiliser l’activité signifiante afin d’agir sur le bien-être de la personne atteinte de la MA, du stade léger à modéré, vivant à domicile ? L’hypothèse émise est qu’une alliance entre l’ergothérapeute et l’aidant principal permettrait l’identification des activités signifiantes de la personne et son engagement dans celles-ci, favorisant ainsi son bien-être. Pour cette étude, un questionnaire a été adressé aux ergothérapeutes travaillant en ESAD1. Les réponses confirment que les ergothérapeutes s’intéressent aux activités signifiantes de la personne atteinte et qu’ils impliquent l’aidant familial dans l’accompagnement. Aussi, l’engagement dans les activités signifiantes semble agir sur le bien-être de la personne. Cependant, l’aidant n’est pas toujours un facteur facilitant ; il peut parfois être une limite à l’intervention à domicile
