True worship is an activity rooted in the grace of the gospel that affects every area of our lives. Thoroughly based in Scripture and filled with practical guidance, this book connects Sunday worship to the rest of our lives—helping us live as true worshipers each and every day.

There are as many viewpoints, styles, and preferences about worship as there are people who worship. And the Bible says worship is something everyone does. So how do you know which approach is best? And how do you make sure the goal of your worship is appropriate? This helpful study examines what the Bible says about true worship. You'll discover that we are created for the purpose of worship. And you’ll explore solid, biblical principles for making worship a lifestyle of grateful response to your Creator and Redeemer. Let Kay Arthur and Bob and Diane Vereen guide you into the rich scriptural truths about this important subject.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Connecting with the Spirit of God in worship is fundamental to the life of the believer, and yet, so many Christians never experience the power of the Spirit in worship- and as a result, never experience the natural outflow of the Spirit of God: miracles, healing, restoration, empowerment, strength and so much more. Why? What can we do to make sure that our connection to the Holy Spirit is unbreakable? What role does worship play? For what purposes did God create worship? Where do I fit in? Why don't I feel Him more? If you can't answer each of these questions with confidence, this book is for you. We want to connect with the Spirit of God in worship. More importantly, God wants to connect with YOU. There are tremendous, life-changing benefits to worship in "spirit and truth"- but understanding what that means, how to use worship in all aspects of your life and what the enemy will do to break your connection with God is paramount. If you desire more of God; if you've been standing in faith for revival in your life; if you've been believing for miracles; if you're not sensing His presence in your life or seeing the manifestation of answers in prayer- start here! If the Bible is your sword, worship is your arrow. The Christian life is full of battles and victories, but you have been equipped with *every* weapon you need- now, learn how to use them!

Book excerpt: Let Every Breath You Take Be an Act of Worship Worship is more than singing on Sunday morning. While that’s part of it, worship is the essence of what makes us truly human. God sparked this desire within our hearts from the day He first breathed life into Adam and Eve. Since then, every single human who has walked this planet has participated in this God-given ability, and divine quest. While many have squandered their gift, there are those who find the wonder-filled life of communion with God no matter the time or place. True freedom comes when worship flows through us as naturally as the air we breathe, when the words and actions in our lives resonate with our Creator so deeply that every inhalation is full of meaning. When we understand the holiness of the God who knows the stars by name—and His overwhelming love for each one of us—how can we offer anything less? In The Air I Breathe, Louie Giglio explains in passionate prose what it means to truly live a life of worship, offering insight and guidance for finding our personal path towards connecting with the God of the Universe.

Book excerpt: Young people are walking away from the church and those still in the church often struggle with indifference about their faith. But it doesn't have to be this way. It's time for a revolution, a holy uprising. A riot. With passion and authenticity, teen author Sara Barratt calls on her generation to reject apathy and embrace a daring, costly faith. Not content with safe religion that demands nothing of us, Sara shows teens how they can stop giving in to the status quo and devote themselves fully to Christ, following him no matter what their friends do or the culture around them does. She challenges them to give everything over--their comfort zones, their time, their loyalties, their pride--and discover that in losing control they are gaining the life that was meant for them all along. Love Riot is a battle cry from one teen to another to embrace a life of wholehearted commitment and relentless abandon for Christ . . . no matter the cost.

Book excerpt: Today, I want to tell you just how special you are. First, you are unique and different. God made you that way. There is no man, women or child quite like you. In fact, there has never been anyone in the history of the world like you. You are not one in a million, you are one in six billion. Use these differences to glorify God. Be excited about being different. God made you to be you and not to pretend to be someone else. God made you with a purpose in mind. Your house, your office, your community, your family, your school, your church - they just aren't the same without you. God made you with a purpose in mind. He made you to solve a problem in this world. Somewhere, there is a person that only you can reach, a life that only you can touch, a situation that only you can fix, a hurt that only you can heal. This is who God made you to be. God was delicate and deliberate in creating you. Every detail, every hair, each unique fingerprint and every nook and cranny. He knows your name. He chose you. You are adored. You are famous in His eyes. God spoke billions of galaxies into existence, but the crown of His creativity - is you. Not the Great Barrier Reef, or Mount Everest, or Victoria Falls - it's you. He fashioned you with the utmost of care. You wear a crown of glory and honor in His immense world. When you look into the mirror, you see scars, pain, wrinkles, misery, despair, sorrow, tired eyes, eyeglasses, thinning hair and a paunch. God sees glory and honor reflecting in your light. But God also made you with unique quirks, with troubles and with weaknesses because it is through your weaknesses that God is made strong. It is through our weaknesses that we learn to rely on God's graces. In His kingdom, the weakest is the greatest. He can use you in a mighty way. You are not a mistake. You have too many exquisite details to be a mistake. The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. - Zephaniah 3:17 We all do not serve God in the same way. God doesn't want to create a drone army of people who walk alike, talk alike, sing alike, look alike, dress alike, or act alike. God wants his people to be unique, chosen, royal and special in every way. Jesus paid the ultimate price for you. Because you are worthy in His eyes. He has forgiven you - past, present and future. He loves you and He wants you to love Him. There is nothing more remarkable than this. We call this the gospel. It's a huge deal. There is nothing on this earth or in this galaxy that tops the love and the passion that God has for you. You are his dear child. When you have come to grips with this reality, I am convinced that your lifestyle will also be one of worship. It has to be. There is no other way. This is the reason behind this book.
