Book Synopsis Revivals Visitations And Moves Of God by :
Download or read book Revivals Visitations And Moves Of God written by and published by All Peoples Church & World Outreach, Bangalore, India. This book was released on 2021-07-01 with total page 132 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Revival is bringing something that is dead back to life. Much of today’s Church needs reviving. When God comes in an unusual way, releasing His presence and power over and above what a church normally experiences, we call it a visitation of God. Every visitation of God should become a habitation of God and become a move of God, going beyond that local church into the community, city, and nation. The move of God results in evangelization, missions, and the fulfilling of the Great Commission. Starting in the book of Acts and down through the centuries, there have been numerous visitations and moves of God. We look at Church history. Understanding history helps us correctly interpret the present and prepare for the future. We draw inspiration, insight, and lessons from what God has done in the past, by reviewing stories, and asking relevant questions: What can we learn from Church history about revivals, visitations, and moves of God? What does it take for a visitation of God to become a move of God? What are signs of a genuine visitation of God? How do we steward a revival, a visitation, and a move of God? The “latter rain” falls just before harvest. “Therefore, be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand” (James 5:7-8). In biblical context, the early rains were showers that usually came during October-November and prepared the ground for the seed. The latter rain fell during March-April and was necessary for the ripening of the crops before harvest. If we believe God is preparing for a mighty endtime outpouring, a great visitation, and ingathering of harvest before His return, then we must get ourselves and our congregations ready for the latter rain of the Holy Spirit. Download or read book God's Visitation written by Lashawna Canty and published by Covenant Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2019-12-11 with total page 453 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the unadulterated true life story of how God brought me from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly with all the messy stages in between! Through many trials and tribulations, my life is being shaped into the person God intends me to be. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:8-10, 20 (KJV), "For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of the light: For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth: Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name our Lord Jesus Christ." The author wants to thank all her family and friends, for it is not our beginning that determines our ending, but it is our repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ and His blood covenant that restores our relationships and saves our lives. Nothing but the blood of Jesus! Which cross is your cross? We all must choose one, no matter what. Jesus has the middle. The cross on the right is salvation, and the one on the left is for unbelievers.

Book Synopsis Gifts of the Visitation by : Denise Bossert
Download or read book Gifts of the Visitation written by Denise Bossert and published by Ave Maria Press. This book was released on 2015-03-09 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The biblical encounter between the Virgin Mary and her cousin Elizabeth, before the births of Jesus and John the Baptist, is at the heart of Gifts of the Visitation by popular speaker and syndicated columnist Denise Bossert. She uses their story to highlight nine gifts experienced by both women as they awaited the arrival of their sons and to encourage readers to develop these gifts themselves. In her debut book, speaker, columnist, and Catholic convert Denise Bossert showcases the seasons of birth, grief, newness, and challenge experienced in the hearts of Mary and Elizabeth at the Visitation and invites readers to see these times in their own lives as opportunities to let God make all things new. Within each of those seasons, nine gifts emerge—spontaneity, courage, joy, readiness, humility, adventure, hospitality, wonder and awe, and thanksgiving—equipping readers to present Christ to the world as Mary and Elizabeth did. Bossert's encounter with Mary, which led her to Catholicism, serves as the window for discovering and exploring the gifts and helps readers look inside their own hearts to discover what the gifts of the visit between Mary and Elizabeth mean to them and how they can be Christ-bearers to others.
Download or read book Visit the Sick written by Brian Croft and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2014-06-03 with total page 75 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How Do You Care for the Sick? Here’s How. One of the marks of the ministry of Jesus is his compassionate care for the sick. Jesus brought healing and hope to individuals struggling with life-debilitating illnesses. Ministry to the sick should also be a mark of his followers, but in many churches today it is neglected or pushed to the periphery of ministry concerns. To counter our modern tendency to minimize or ignore sickness, pastor Brian Croft looks to paradigms of the past and examines historical models of care that honor God, obey the teachings of Scripture, and communicate loving care to those who are struggling with sickness and disease. Part of the Practical Shepherding series of resources, Visit the Sick provides pastors and ministry leaders with real-world help to do the work of pastoral ministry in a local church. Visit the Sick gives pastors, church leaders, and caregivers the biblical, theological, pastoral, and practical tools they need to navigate through both the spiritual and physical care of the sick and dying.
