Book excerpt: Yagerian Therapy, formerly known as Subliminal Therapy, is a highly effective and efficient form of therapy treatment that has been evolving, improving, and changing the lives of patients for over 40 years. This innovative and groundbreaking method engages the extra-conscious abilities to uncover the actual causes of the individual patient's problems, whether they manifest physically, emotionally, intellectually, or behaviorally. Once those root causes have been identified, the mind is used to heal and resolve those problems through reframing and reconditioning. Yagerian Therapy provides a practical, efficient, and logical way to identify the causes of psychogenetic and other issues and then to resolve their influence. In fact, most patients report drastic improvement or complete resolution in just a few sessions. In this book, readers are introduced to the concepts and applications of Yagerian Therapy, taught how to use it, and provided with key, inquisitive insights into its practice, effectiveness, and evolution.Through the development and advancement of his Yagerian Method of therapy, author Edwin K. Yager, Ph.D. has successfully treated thousands of patients presenting a wide variety of psychological and psychogenic physical problems with high success rates. Book Synopsis Subliminal Therapy Aka Yagerian Therapy by : Edwin K Yager
Download or read book Subliminal Therapy Aka Yagerian Therapy written by Edwin K Yager and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-01-14 with total page 82 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Are you troubled by anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or perhaps finding yourself addicted to something? This booklet introduces a method that makes it possible for you to uncover the roots of your discomfort, thereby opening the door of resolution. All people have mental abilities that exceed their conscious abilities. Subliminal Therapy is a technique that allows you to tap into unconscious abilities that all people have, and this booklet teaches you how to communicate with your own higher-level abilities in a rational, logical way. The concept of tapping into those higher-level abilities is introduced and expanded for use in identifying the causes of problems; accessing the related memories facilitates resolution of problems. When the causes of a problem are identified, they can be resolved, and its symptoms cease to exist. This is true whether the problem is emotionally driven (as in the case of anxiety, depression, addictions or behavior), or physically (as in the case of chronic pain, migraine headaches, asthma and GI problems). This innovative method has been successfully used in treating both physical and mental problems that are the consequence of experiences in life. By using this method to identify the actual cause of a problem, as opposed to your conscious opinion and beliefs about its cause, full resolution of the problem is likely. Moreover, the method is remarkably effective, with success being defined as full resolution of the problem, not just making things better. In the clinical setting, only three or four treatment sessions are typically required for resolution of a problem; nevertheless, use of the method for self-help has been shown to be of significant value to many people. When assistance is needed, trained therapists are now available in most countries in North America and Europe, and you may elect to use the computerized version of the method at www.yagerianmethod.com. For more detailed information, go to www.stii.us.Additionally, new perspectives and ways of thinking are offered regarding various personal concerns that have become the problems typically presented by patients for therapy. These essays often provide new insights that aid in resolving long-term issues related to that specific area. The topics include, pain and its management, the role of selfishness, sex, fear, guilt, bitterness, forgiving, grief, and perhaps of greatest importance, the concept of acceptance.
Book Synopsis Systems-Centered Training by : Yvonne M. Agazarian
Download or read book Systems-Centered Training written by Yvonne M. Agazarian and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2020-12-30 with total page 251 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This illustrated book shows how "thinking" systems offer new ways of seeing people which can help us see and do things differently. The authors describe how a theory of living human systems was developed and even recently revised. This major revision led to a theory of the person-as-a-system and its role-systems map that helps us see which system in us and in others is running the show. The authors illustrate how life force energy fuels the hierarchy of living human systems and how theory and practice with role-systems can be useful in everyday life. They begin with describing how they have used the new illustrations as a map to locate the contexts of our roles. Using this map has also enabled the authors to identify the role-systems and explore the territory of ourselves and our groups in new ways that deepened our understanding of roles and role locks. This book illustrates systems-centered therapy and training (SCT) theory by offering a practical theory to guide group psychotherapists, leaders and consultants in working with group dynamics.
Download or read book Synthetic Glycomes written by Wanyi Guan and published by Royal Society of Chemistry. This book was released on 2019-04-23 with total page 488 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Glycans play essential roles in diverse biological and etiological processes and their structural complexity endow various functions. The glycome is the entire set of glycans produced by an individual organism. As the glycan microarray emerged, a good amount of knowledge has been obtained in understanding the functions of glycans. However, limited accessibility of glycans is a major obstacle to the functional glycomics study. Although isolation from biology samples provided some structures, the low abundance of glycans obtained and the difficulty in complete structural assignment restricted the subsequent assay. To circumvent this limitation, many synthetic strategies, including chemical, enzymatic and chemo-enzymatic ones have been developed to make libraries of structurally defined complex glycans available. The glycans provided by these techniques combined with high-throughput glycoarray techniques have broadened and deepened our understanding about functional glycomics. The aim of this book is to provide a comprehensive review of the current state of the synthetic glycome and a brief introduction of the application of the synthetic glycome in glycoarray assay. Accordingly, synthetic strategies toward generating glycans with comprehensive structures as well as the glycoarrays to unveil the glycan functions are described in this book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hypnotic Regression Therapy, or HRT, is a type of hypnotherapy in which, following the induction of a good trance state, specialized suggestions are given to guide the client in reviewing and emotionally reframing earlier experiences that have either caused or contributed to the client's current symptoms. HRT is considered one of the most valuable hypnotherapy techniques available today, yet it remains controversial, partly due to inadequate training of psychotherapists and hypnotherapists which has contributed to numerous cases of false memory syndrome.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you want a way to have an easier and more satisfying life, this book may well be the elusive "how to" you've been searching for. A series of crises in the author's life led her on an intensive search for solutions. The result is a new method of personal transformation that is simpler, gentler, more direct, and also appears to be more effective and dependable than previous approaches. What makes Wholeness Work unique is that it's based on a spiritual teaching about awakening-but goes farther to offer a method that's specific, precise and universally accessible. You don't need to have spiritual interest or beliefs to benefit. In this book, you'll find real-life stories from people who've done this work and report: -A natural melting away of issues that previously seemed unresolvable -An increased sense of wellbeing -A deep relaxation and resetting of the nervous system -Greater access to a natural wisdom, compassion, humor and creativity This method has helped people with relationship issues, insomnia, difficult emotions, pre-migraine auras and much more. Even some physical issues have shown improvement. People report "It feels gentle-but has a powerful impact. "Eastern Spirituality brings us concepts such as "enlightenment" and "loss of the ego." But for many, the actual experience of these is mysterious and seems esoteric. Can a state of "enlightenment" actually be accessible to the ordinary person? In answering this question, Wholeness Work is a breakthrough in the fields of both spirituality and personal transformation. It isn't a magic pill that you can try one time and then life is perfect. Instead, it's a step-by-step approach that brings profound benefits to those seeking personal transformation and/or spiritual growth. Doing the Wholeness Work feels like a kindness to yourself as you're doing it; the only side effect is that your life continues improving-gradually and dependably. If you want a simple, reliable, direct way to make life better, you've just found it. Praise for Coming to Wholeness: " This is a game changer. I was first introduced to the Wholeness Work by a coach who used the method with my wife and me to profound effect. I hope it opens worlds for you." -Jack Canfield, Coauthor of the Chicken Soup for the Soul(R) "Well done! Connirae Andreas has 'transformed' several centuries and approaches to self-awareness and meditation into her Wholeness Work. Her approach is very gentle, easy, simple and fluid, respectful and inclusive. From my study of Milton Erickson, I believe she has added much to Erickson's work and healing approach in Coming to Wholeness. She says it best: It means that everything that had been getting in our way actually supports the meditation process." -Dr. Chris Gunn, Licensed Psychologist, Flagstaff, AZ "At last, a manual for getting over ourselves. Beyond the self lies a whole world of being fully, spontaneously alive. Thank you, Connirae. This work is brilliant." -Stewart Emery, author, founding CEO of EST, creator of Actualizations, coffee maven "Connirae's Coming to Wholeness suggests the elegant simplicity of a captivating melody- it takes hold of you and effortlessly carries you along. A lot of sophisticated musical understanding goes into writing a tune that captures the heart, and a lot of sophisticated psychological understanding has gone into developing and refining a process that expands the self and releases the heart." -Douglas Flemons, Ph.D., LMFT, Professor of Family Therapy, Nova Southeastern University Connirae Andreas PhD is an international teacher of personal growth methods, known for her innovative contributions spanning more than four decades. Book Synopsis The Art of Hypnotherapy by : C Roy Hunter
Download or read book The Art of Hypnotherapy written by C Roy Hunter and published by Crown House Publishing. This book was released on 2010-07-01 with total page 467 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Now in it's fourth edition, this classic text presents a comprehensive overview of client-centred hypnosis based on the teachings of Charles Tebbetts. Since the person undergoing hypnosis is the one with the power to change him/herself, the hypnotherapist acts as the facilitator, tailoring the hypnosis session to the client. All of the techniques found in The Art of Hypnotherapy, including regression therapy and parts theory, centre on this concept. The Art of Hypnotherapy shows students how all hypnotic techniques revolve around four main therapeutic objectives: Suggestion and Imagery; Discover the Cause; Release; and Subconscious Relearning. New features in this edition include an arrangement of techniques from simple to complex, so that those using hypnosis in a limited way easily learn the applicable technique; a chapter on the common application of hypnotherapy now includes new sections on anger, impotence, stuttering, and tinnitus, and the chapters on anchoring and triggers have been updated, with sections on how to help a client establish a safe place, and why this is important.

Book Synopsis EMDR Therapy and Somatic Psychology: Interventions to Enhance Embodiment in Trauma Treatment by : Arielle Schwartz
Download or read book EMDR Therapy and Somatic Psychology: Interventions to Enhance Embodiment in Trauma Treatment written by Arielle Schwartz and published by W. W. Norton & Company. This book was released on 2018-08-07 with total page 337 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A guide to help EMDR practitioners to integrate somatic therapy into their sessions. Clients who have experienced traumatic events and seek EMDR therapists rely on them as guides through their most vulnerable moments. Trauma leaves an imprint on the body, and if clinicians don't know how to stay embodied in the midst of these powerful relational moments, they risk shutting down with their clients or becoming overwhelmed by the process. If the body is not integrated into EMDR therapy, full and effective trauma treatment is unlikely. This book offers an integrative model of treatment that teaches therapists how to increase the client's capacity to sense and feel the body, helps the client work through traumatic memories in a safe and regulated manner, and facilitates lasting integration. Part I (foundational concepts) offers a broad discussion of theory and science related to trauma treatment. Readers will be introduced to essential components of EMDR therapy and somatic psychology. The discussion then deepens into the science of embodiment through the lens of research on emotion, memory, attachment, interpersonal neurobiology, and the impact of trauma on overall health. This part of the book emphasizes the principles of successful trauma treatment as phase-oriented, mindfulness-based, noninterpretive, experiential, relational, regulation focused, and resilience-informed. Part II (interventions) presents advanced scripted protocols that can be integrated into the eight phases of EMDR therapy. These interventions provide support for therapists and clients who want to build somatic awareness through experiential explorations that incorporate mindfulness of sensations, movement impulses, breath, and boundaries. Other topics discussed include a focus on complex PTSD and attachment trauma, which addresses topics such as working with preverbal memories, identifying ego states, and regulating dissociation; chronic pain or illness; and culturally-based traumatic events. Also included is a focused model of embodied self-care to prevent compassion fatigue and burnout.
