Book excerpt: Changes in the earth’s elements, promised in Revelations and by visiting angels: hurricanes, droughts, earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, tsunamis, fires, oceanic demise, and other destructive occurrences, are being witnessed. Plagues over the globe: AIDS, West Nile Virus, Bird Flu, Ebola and currently COVID – 19 and its many Variants, devastating Humanity with death and debilitation, are being witnessed. Man’s inhumane, warring slaughter of man over greed for power, differences in religious ideals, political differences, racial differences, and other such senseless foolishness is being witnessed. There is no doubt left, among the conscious and the faithful, that God dispatched His Angels here to help warn all of this time. The information they gave is to help navigate man through these perilous times is written here exactly as it was given. “ALL THAT WILL HEAR WILL HEAR IT. ALL WHO WILL NOT HEAR WILL NOT HEAR IT.”

Williams and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2011-08-19 with total page 353 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: School buildings in Maryland, Washington, D.C., New York, Boston, Chicago, South Carolina, and throughout America that have chipping, peeling, and flaking lead-based paint on the interior and exterior are exposing our children and others to lead poisoning. Having renovations performed on these already lead hazardous schools without implementing the proper protective protocols to prevent millions of more microscopic lead dust particles from spreading only compounds the exposure to lead poisoning. Moreover, if these same lead hazardous school buildings, also, have their water supply flowing through leaded pipes, pipes that are connected with lead solder, or have leaded fixtures attached to the fountains, then, our leaders of tomorrow and others are ingesting even more lead poisoning through drinking lead-tainted water. This non-fiction book documents the truth that a Mathematics teacher, who has maintained her certification and accreditation in lead hazard evaluation and control since 1997 as a Repainting and Maintenance Supervisor, an Inspector Technician, a Lead Abatement Service Contractor, and thus, a Recognized Lead Expert by the Maryland Department of the Environment, identified four schools in Baltimore City that had either deteriorating, chipping, and flaking lead-based paint, major renovations that disturbed lead hazardous components and didnt have the proper protective protocols in place, or drinking water that was lead-contaminated. She attempted on numerous occasions to have the health hazards addressed and resolved. However, the powers that be only wanted to silence her and continue concealing the truth that for over a decade the custodians of these public schools, the owners, and others knowingly, willingly, and negligently exposed lives to lead poisoning. Moreover, the detailed, documented true findings from five Finders of Fact that substantiate that the powers that be retaliated against the messenger because she blew the whistle regarding the lead hazardous in these Baltimore City schools.

Book excerpt: Winner of a Schneider Family Honor! “A beautifully rendered and deeply inspiring book for everyone who has ever read slowly—myself included! Hudson shows us the beauty and magic that can come from taking our time. Brilliant.”—Jacqueline Woodson Hudson Talbott's inspiring story vividly reveals the challenges--and ultimately the rewards--of being a non-mainstream kind of learner. When Hudson Talbott was a little boy, he loved drawing, and it came naturally to him. But reading? No way! One at a time, words weren't a problem, but long sentences were a struggle. As his friends moved on to thicker books, he kept his slow reading a secret. But that got harder every year. He felt alone, lost, and afraid in a world of too many words. Fortunately, his love of stories wouldn't let him give up. He started giving himself permission to read at his own pace, using the words he knew as stepping-stones to help draw him into a story. And he found he wasn't so alone--in fact, lots of brilliant people were slow readers, too. Learning to accept the fact that everyone does things in their own unique way, and that was okay, freed him up and ultimately helped Hudson thrive and become the fabulous storyteller he is today.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Why Me, God? Why Now?" Some of the most sincere prayers we can address to God are, "Why, God?," "When, God?," or "How, God?" Facing our ignorance and lack of understanding is the basis of any ongoing prayer dialogue with God. Consider what happens when we're facing a life crisis -- death, illness, or loss -- and the only kind of prayer we're capable of is a string of questions flung to heaven. But we can also feel free to ask questions of God in everyday prayer as we look to him for motivation, inspiration, and understanding. An experienced pastor currently serving as Bishop of Charleston, South Carolina, Bishop Robert J. Baker says a question put to God can be a real sign of faith and trust, especially when we bring those questions to prayer. This unique aid to prayer and meditation will guide you to the core of your relationship with God and your understanding of his plan for you.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What does "environment" really mean in the complex, non-Western milieu of present-day Tokyo? How can anthropology contribute to the technical discussions and quantitative measures typically found in environmental studies? Author Peter Wynn Kirby explores these questions through a deep cultural analysis of waste in contemporary Japan. His parameters are intentionally broad—encompassing ideas of "nature," attitudes toward hygiene, notions of health and illness, problems with vermin and toxic waste, processes of social exclusion, and reproductive threats. Troubled Natures concludes that how surroundings are conceived, invoked, and enacted is subjective, highly contextual, and under continual negotiation—with suggestive implications for anthropology, social science, and environmental studies generally. Kirby casts his anthropological lens over two Tokyo neighborhoods, comparing environmental consciousness and conduct in communities facing specific toxic threats (real or perceived). In each fieldsite, the tension between lofty rhetoric and daily practices helps highlight the practical ambivalence of Japanese environmental consciousness. Waste practices and ideas of pollution in Tokyo tie clearly into broader social issues such as exclusionary practices, emergent lifestyle changes, recycling efforts, and novel forms of energy production. Throughout, waste and environmental health problems in Tokyo collide against diverse cultural elements linked to nature(s)—uneasy relations between animals and humans; "native" conceptions of the "foreign" and the "polluted"; reproductive challenges in the face of a plunging fertility rate; and changing attitudes toward illness and health. The book’s thoughtful inquiry into the ways in which environmental questions circulate throughout Japanese society furnishes insight into central elements of contemporary Japanese life. As for the pivotal question of how to shape environmental policy internationally, Troubled Natures reminds us that efforts to influence a society’s waste shadow must unfold over a distinctive sociocultural topography where attitudes to garbage, health, purity, pollution, and excess can impact environmental priorities in profound ways.
