We don't need to look far to realize that not all women live with the same opportunities and confidence. The Sisterhood invites women to explore and expand what they believe about God, themselves, and their responsibility to the world around them. Tracing the rise of Hillsong Church's global Sisterhood movement, author Bobbie Houston challenges women to join her in creating a new era of outreach. Readers will learn how to embrace their individual gifts and value as women, growing seeds of change into greater possibilities for women everywhere. If one woman can change her world, then only heaven truly knows what an entire company of women can achieve.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Women of the world, without a doubt, our time is here. Those who are still in slavery, hold on; your time for liberation has come. The reality is that love will rule. We will not bargain away our new position or be evasive about it. We have come to recognize ourselves. We are here to stay. We will be at the forefront of life-changing events in the world, which will need our motivation and input. Should men leave us out, reality will overtake them; stalemate and impotence will be the order of the day. Our input will be of utmost importance. The world cannot go forward without half the population. This is a great victory and has moved us from heartbreak to total triumph. The wisdom of a female has been an unspoken factor behind the strong male energy, and this wisdom will be the key in the world's change. To gain this wisdom, women must learn from the women in worlds past who were a guiding light in their time. In this day of a heightened feminine era, the world will continue to undergo significant changes. Through the lessons of these fellow sisters, women everywhere will be empowered to institute change. Monika issues a manifesto to women throughout the world to focus on their intuitive powers to elevate the status of Aquarian developments. Women are a force to be reckoned with, especially when we band together as a Universal Sisterhood.

The pace of life, along with the new front porch of social media, has changed the landscape of our lives. Women have been told for far too long that being on the go and accumulating more things will make their lives full. As a result, we grasp for the wrong things in life and come up empty. God created us to walk with him; to know him and to be loved by him. He is our living well and when we drink from the water he continually provides, it will change us. Our marriages, our parenting, and our homemaking will be transformed. Mommy-blogger Courtney Joseph is a cheerful realist. She tackles the challenge of holding onto vintage values in a modern world, starting with the keys to protecting our walk with God. No subject is off-limits as she moves on to marriage, parenting, and household management. Rooted in the Bible, her practical approach includes tons of tips that are perfect for busy moms, including: Simple Solutions for Studying God’s Word How to Handle Marriage, Parenting, and Homemaking in a Digital Age 10 Steps to Completing Your Husband Dealing With Disappointed Expectations in Motherhood Creating Routines that Bring Rest Pursuing the Discipline and Diligence of the Proverbs 31 Woman There is nothing more important than fostering your faith, building your marriage, training your children, and creating a haven for your family. Women Living Well is a clear and personal guide to making the most of these precious responsibilities.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this accessible historical overview of Sunday, noted scholar Justo Gonz lez tells the story of how and why Christians have worshiped on Sunday from the earliest days of the church to the present. After discussing the views and practices relating to Sunday in the ancient church, Gonz lez turns to Constantine and how his policies affected Sunday observances. He then recounts the long process, beginning in the Middle Ages and culminating with Puritanism, whereby Christians came to think of and strictly observe Sunday as the Sabbath. Finally, Gonz lez looks at the current state of things, exploring especially how the explosive growth of the church in the Majority World has affected the observance of Sunday worldwide. Readers of this book will rediscover the joy and excitement of Sunday as early Christians celebrated it and will find fresh, inspiring perspectives on Sunday amid our current culture of indifference and even hostility to Christianity.

This book was released on 2007 with total page 302 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As the major national biracial women's organization, the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) provided a unique venue for women to respond to American race relations during the first half of the twentieth century. In Christian Sisterhood, Race Relations, and the YWCA, 1906-46, Nancy Marie Robertson shows how women of both races employed different understandings of "Christian sisterhood" in their responses. Although the YWCA was segregated at the local level, African American women were able to effectively challenge white women over YWCA racial policies and practices. Robertson argues that from 1906 through 1946, many white women in the association went from seeing segregation as compatible with Christianity and democracy to regarding it as a contradiction of those values. These struggles laid the groundwork for the subsequent civil rights movement. Her analysis relies not only on a large body of records documenting YWCA women at the national and local levels, but also on autobiographical accounts and personal papers from women associated with the YWCA, including Dorothy Height, Lugenia Burns Hope, Alice Dunbar-Nelson, Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, and Lillian Smith. A volume in the series Women in American History, edited by Anne Firor Scott, Susan Armitage, Susan K. Cahn, and Deborah Gray White

Book excerpt: All parents want their daughters to marry godly young men. But which qualities, specifically, should they be looking for? What will you say when that certain young man sits down in your living room, sweaty-palmed and tongue-tied, and asks your permission to marry your daughter? What criteria should he meet before the two of them join together for life? What He Must Be... If He Wants to Marry My Daughter outlines ten qualities parents should look for in a son-in-law, including trustworthiness, a willingness to lead his family, an understanding of his wife's role, and various spiritual leadership qualities. Author Voddie Baucham follows up on his popular book Family Driven Faith with this compelling apologetic of biblical manhood. By studying the principles outlined in his book, parents who want their daughter to marry a godly man-as well as those who want their sons to become godly men-will be well equipped to help their children look for and develop these God-honoring qualities.

Book excerpt: Every sanctified sister needs to be reminded that there are still issues we may have and things we encounter that will make us feel unworthy of the promises of God. One thing is, some of us are tricked by a feeling of thinking we need a man to feel we can make it. Most importantly we must realize that all we need is Jesus. We need to stay focus on the things of God and stop trying to out do each other. God can use us when we truly seek him, trust and love him. Sanctifi ed Women need to come together and stop being jealous and hating on each other. We need to be pure on the inside. We are powerful when we come together. When we seek God first He will give us our heart’s desire.
