Der Stellenwert des Produktionsfaktors Wissen nimmt demnach verglichen mit den traditionellen Produktionsfaktoren Boden, Kapital und Arbeit eine immer größere und wichtigere Stellung ein. Mit dieser Diplomarbeit wurden zwei Aufgaben bearbeitet: A) Eine Vorgehensweise für eine wissensbasierte Unternehmensanalyse zu erarbeiten, sie durchzuführen und anhand der erzielten Resultate ein Umsetzungskonzept, abgestimmt auf ein KMU, zu entwickeln. B) Die Bedürfnisse für ein mögliches Ausbildungsmodul am auftraggebenden Institut abzuklären und dazu ein Unterrichtskonzept zu erarbeiten. Zu A): In der untersuchten Firma stieß das vorgelegte Konzept auf reges Interesse. Die Umsetzung wurde daraufhin von der Geschäftsleitung initiert. Zu B): Mittels einer schriftlichen Befragung wurde das Bedürfnis für ein Unterrichtsmodul Wissensmanagement bei aktuell und ehemalig Studierenden des Instituts abgeklärt. Die Resultate der Umfrage (mit einem Rücklauf von über 70%) sagen aus, dass bezüglich diesen Lerninhalten großes Interesse vorhanden ist. Mittlerweile ist ein entsprechendes Wissensmanagement-Unterrichtsmodul aufgrund des erarbeiteten Konzeptes am Institut Tatsache. Auszug aus der Bewertung der Diplomarbeit: - Arbeit besticht durch deren Breite. - Praxisorientierung in hohem Masse gegeben. - Problemfelder werden methodisch vielfältig untersucht, Lösungsvorschläge sind realistisch. Im Rahmen der Arbeit wurde der integrierte Ansatz von Gilbert Probst und Kai Romhardt verfolgt. Die Kernprozesse des Wissensmanagement sind in acht einzelne Wissensbausteine gegliedert. Diese Bausteine umschreiben weitgehend die möglichen Interventionsfelder für Wissensmanagementmassnahmen in einem Unternehmen. Das Konzept ist bezüglich bestehender Ansätze und Interventionsprojekte offen. Ein Wissensmanagementprojekt auf der Basis des vorliegenden Konzeptes kann ohne Mühe in bestehende Projekte integriert werden, auch wenn diese auf anderen Managementkonzepten oder Interventionsansätzen beruhen. Als Kernaussage halten wir fest, dass es nicht entscheidend ist, ob Wissensmanagement anderen Unternehmensbereichen zugeordnet oder als eigenständige Disziplin betrachtet wird: Die Hauptsache ist, Wissensmanagement bewusst zu praktizieren.
