Die Studie befasst sich mit der Analyse drei abgeschlossener Fälle einer stationären Kriseneinrichtung. Durch die Auswertung der Interviews mit Eltern, Kindern, Bezugspädagogen und Mitarbeitern der Sozialbürgerhäuser soll veranschaulicht werden, welche Wirkungen und Erfolge der Arbeit in der Einrichtung sich messen lassen. Mit der durchgeführten Fallanalyse konnten einige Anhaltspunkte dargelegt werden, die darauf hinweisen, dass man von einer wirksamen pädagogischen Arbeit sprechen kann. Voraussetzung zum Nachweis dieser Wirkung ist die Berücksichtigung aller Beteiligten bei der Auswertung. Neben den Fachkräften der Einrichtung und des Jugendamts wurden deshalb auch die Eltern und Kinder befragt.
