Getting a good grade can feel as important as who you're going to kiss for the first time. While trying to fight your way through the jungle of junior high and high school, there are many decisions to make. Sometimes it feels like you're playing a video game and you have to choose between option A or B, both of which have unpredictable consequences and benefits. Depending on the situation, teachers and parents can turn from a comfort to the source of our anger. Our best friends can be the ones we're envious of the most and any sort of romantic relationship is full of complications. During this entire time, our minds and bodies are transforming from the children we used to be into the adults we're going to become. It's a way to follow the crowd and know exactly what's next. Or, going against the norms can also give you an exact formula for how to act, dress, and think. However, getting too caught up with labels or the thoughts and opinions of other people can be the very thing that keeps you from success as a teen.
