And then he went to the box-car and helped the men take Capri and his little carriage and Prince and the surrey off it. And all the trunks and bags and boxes were put on a great big cart and drawn away by two stout horses. And Capri and his little carriage were in the cart too, for Capri was not strong, or big enough, to walk such a long way. Then John harnessed Prince to the surrey, and Mary and Nursie got into it, and Mary carried pussy's basket upon her lap, for she loved the pretty pussy. And Jingles sat upon the front seat beside John, and was as proud as he could be to find himself in his own surrey again, and no longer in the baggage-car which shook him around so much. And away they drove. Then a cab came up to the station to take Papa and Mamma and Wee Winkles and Wideawake to the cottage too; and, oh, how happy they were when they began to smell the fine sea-air as they drove along! And when they reached the cottage the big cart was in front of it, and the men were taking off the trunks and boxes, and Capri stood eating the sweet, green grass, and John was helping Mary and Nursie out of the surrey, and there was everybody and everything that Wee Winkles and Wideawake loved. And not far from the cottage was the big, blue sea shining and dancing in the sunlight. "Oh! Oh! Oh! See the big, big water!" cried Wideawake. "Oh! Oh! Oh! See the big, big water!" cried Wee Winkles, too. "May we go down to the water right away...
