Schulpolitik, Note: 1,0, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit widmet sich der Beantwortung der Fragen, welche Bedeutung Lehrende und Schüler*innen den Persönlichkeitsmerkmalen von Lehrpersonen beimessen. Hierfür wurde aus der Psychologie das Persönlichkeitsmodell der "Big Five" entlehnt, welches den Charakter von Personen mit Hilfe der Dimensionen Neurotizismus, Extraversion, Offenheit, Verträglichkeit und Gewissenhaftigkeit zu beschreiben versucht. Zunächst erfolgen Definitionen zentraler Begriffe wie "Person", "Persönlichkeit", "Diagnose und Diagnostik", "Faktorenanalyse" und "Konstruktivismus". Daran anknüpfend werden Persönlichkeitsmodelle der Psychologie, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die "Lehrerpersönlichkeit", dargestellt. Danach werden die "Faktorenanalyse" und das Konzept des Big Five-Persönlichkeitsmodells vorgestellt, sowie der Unterschied zwischen Konstruktivismus und Instruktivismus erörtert. Weiters wird auf "evidenzbasierte Methoden der Unterrichtsdiagnostik und -entwicklung" (EMU) eingegangen. Für den empirischen Teil der Arbeit wurden zehn Lehrende mittels Leifadeninterview hinsichtlich den Persönlichkeitsmerkmalen der „Big Five“ befragt und mittels qualitativer Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring ausgewertet. Zusätzlich wurden Schüler*innen (n = 176) mittels Onlinefragebögen befragt, welche Bedeutung sie unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeitsmerkmalen bei ihren idealen Lehrenden beimessen.

Dabei können mehrere Faktoren von Bedeutung sein, unter anderem den Klassenraum, die Sitznachbarn und die Anzahl der Schüler in einer Klasse. Eine interessante Studie für diese Arbeit ist somit die Hattie-Studie, die die Wichtigkeit einer guten Schüler-Lehrer-Beziehung zum Vorschein bringt. Diese Arbeit wird nun in zwei Hauptteile abgegliedert sein. Erstens werde ich auf die Kommunikation eingehen. Was bedeutet es mit jemandem zu kommunizieren und wie wichtig ist es für die Weiterentwicklung? Zweitens werde ich die Schüler-Lehrer-Beziehung näher analysieren, und deren Auswirkung auf die Lernfähigkeit der Schüler mit der Hattie-Studie verdeutlichen. Abschließend werde ich ein Fazit aus dieser Arbeit ziehen, welches die Importanz einer gut durchdachten Schüler-Lehrer-Beziehung demonstrieren soll.

Book excerpt: A central pillar of contemporary communication research is the analysis of filmed interactions between people. The techniques employed in such analysis first took on a recognizably modern form in the 1970s, but their roots go back to the earliest days of motion picture technology in the late nineteenth century. This book presents original essays accompanied by written responses which together create a dialogue exploring early efforts at audio-visual sequence analysis and their common goal to capture the "whole" of the communicative situation. The first three chapters of this volume look at the film-based research of Gestalt psychologists in Berlin as well as psychologists in the orbit of Karl and Charlotte Bühler in Vienna in the first decades of the twentieth century. Most of these figures – along with many other Central European scholars of this era – were driven into exile in the United States after the rise of National Socialism in the 1930s. This scientific migration led to the cross-pollination of communication studies in America, an outcome visible in the leading project in interaction research of the mid-twentieth century, the Natural History of an Interview. The following two chapters examine this project in its historical context. The volume closes with a critical edition of a treasure from the archives: the transcript of a speech delivered by Ray Birdwhistell, a key participant in the Natural History of an Interview project and founder of kinesics.
