Book excerpt: This book is about how India can become an Alternative of the Failed Communism and the Speedily Failing Democracy and Economy of the Millennial Global Society through following its own original economic and democratic systems which follows the universal laws of sociological and geographical changes. As Indian leaders are physically running more than necessary violently, but ideologically they have been sleeping for the long time down up to the present, this book is the voice "If you understand and follow your own originality, the Upcoming Supreme Leadership of New Millennial Global Society Is Yours." together with a loudly alarming bell to wake up them from their deep sleep.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book is based on the last address of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar to the Constituent Assembly on 25th November, 1949. Dr. Ambedkar expressed great concerns on the preservation of the Democracy enshrined in the Constitution. These concerns made the author take up writing. The country has been in turmoil for about the past 30 years with an uncertain future for the present and coming generations. The idea is to recapture Dr. Ambedkar's message to the political parties governance and to people. The author has made an earnest effort to highlight the concerns of the father of the Constitution and his farsightedness to forewarn politicians and the people of the country about what would happen if self-interest takes the front seat and the interest of the country is pushed back. In the midst of the prevailing chaos, the author, through this book, wishes to give A Wake Up Call to Every Indian, not from his own views, but from those who foresaw the emerging critical political environment in the country which is destroying the basic constitutional fiber as well as threatening the democratic development of the country. Our independence can only be sustained if there is a coherent call from political and religious leaders, who are ignoring their fundamental duties for their own self aggrandizement. The need of the hour is to sprinkle and spread the perfume of harmony and oneness without ascribing any kind of scourge but upholding the God-given message of humanism as the sole consideration for development in every walk of life. A nation is built not merely on valor but through upholding the virtues of the ancestors and those who sacrificed their lives for freedom.

Book excerpt: There has been a significant improvement in economic relations between the UK and India since the 2006 report from the Trade and Industry Committee (HC 881-I, 3rd report session 2005-06, ISBN 9780215029355), which urged greater engagement with India. Both Government and private sector bodies have worked to achieve this. The sizeable investments and deals made both by Indian companies in the UK and British companies in India are encouraging signs of a deepening relationship which should benefit both countries. The establishment of the UK-India Business Council is perhaps the most tangible manifestation of this. This new report welcomes the improved climate, but identifies areas for further work. India's economy has recently enjoyed growth rates of around 9 per cent a year; it is possible this will slow slightly in 2008 and 2009. India faces significant challenges, such as real poverty, poor infrastructure and public sector bureaucracy. But the Indian market is liberalising and has much to offer. Not all the barriers to a deepened relationship are on the Indian side. The recommendations in this report on education links, on visas, on the future of JETCO, on the work of UKTI and on trade negotiations need to be seen against this wider backdrop.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The INC (Indian National Congress) by SK Nigam (Notion Press) The book unravels the various aspects of the Indian National Congress since its formation. Particularly after 2014, the Congress experienced significant organizational and structural setbacks. The book places us in the middle of a sizable tent of ideologies and convictions of one of the oldest political parties in the history of the world, the Congress, which spearheaded a massive mass movement for freedom against the colonial regime and also established the framework for a democratic, secular party in the nation, which is unquestionably currently in serious crisis. Working in a small wing of UPCC (NGO Cell, which is worthless as told by Mr. Sachin Naik, Secretary AICC at Salempur 2019 LS Candidate’s interview) of its vast organization, I deciphered the history of congress . I was deeply impressed by the power of thought, the political language of its leaders specially Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru that was behind this party. Now that the memories of the Congress fight for the country's independence are fading and the new generation specially millennials, who are being misled by modern communication technology with deep fake electoral strategies, my reaction to the Congress party may be seem sentimental to it. However, like other political parties, I do not imagine the Congress party too idealistically, and as far as possible, I avoid thinking of it even in my dreams. I would like to think of it not as an old political party, but as a nurturer of independent ideas.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For the first time, American Indian leadership theory is connected with practice. Featuring 24 perspectives, this book provides the most comprehensive look at contemporary American Indian leadership ever published. This book is written primarily for those young leaders who are beginning careers where they work with Indian tribes and organizations. Each of the stories found in the book represent significant challenges and barriers, along with the reflections of having lived these experiences to become a stronger leader. This book can help younger leaders avoid the mistakes of the past and will help them develop the skills that will sustain them. The book is organized around four styles of leadership found in American Indian society. It presents a graphic model of leadership style and then provides examples of each specific type of leadership through stories from recognized leaders in various professions. Because one precept of tribal communities is that elders are responsible for teaching the next generation, the stories are presented in a narrative style. The stories themselves reflect comprehensive assessments of historical pivot points for tribal sovereignty in this country.

Book excerpt: Adversity. A fancy word for "tough times." While it's true that we all face challenges and hardships during our lives, it seems that more and more of us are faced with them right now. And, we all know that we're most likely to feel what others around us are feeling. If those around us are feeling lost, hopeless, and pessimistic about the future, then guess what? We're going to feel that way too. It's the "herd mentality" come to haunt us, again. We don't like to think of ourselves as members of a herd, but let's face it; our society can be seen as one. "Herd mentality," of course, describes how people are influenced by their peers to adopt certain behaviors, follow trends in action or thought. Currently the trend is toward 'negative thinking, ' which can be contrasted to the optimistic trend of the 1950 post-war era in America, where prosperity-for-all was thought to be both possible and probable. It was Friedrich Nietzsche, the German philosopher, who coined the phrase. These human herds could be divided into two groups. One group assumes a religious point-of -view, and their beliefs dictate their actions. The other group is influenced by the media and their actions are based upon what others perceive as 'right.' Today, 'right' thinking includes the opinions of media pundits, stock market analysts, and others who claim that the American Dream is dead, or at least terminally-ill. And where there's one negative thinker, there can be a dozen who are influenced by them. While Nietzsche saw these examples of group thinking to be reflections of weakness in the human social spirit, he did create the concept of the "Superman," that person who overcomes the values of the herd. That's what you're going to re-create yourself into; that Superman or Superwoman who rejects the common thinking of others in their reality. Only by discarding that negative thinking can you truly wake up to the opportunities around you and take advantage of them."
