Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Waiting in Obedience in Capernaum” is the sixth book of “The New Way Series.” It is based on the first century manuscript “Acts of the Apostles” written by Luke. Capernaum used to be a wonderful place, but it has changed — or have their eyes just been opened? Life as they knew it was gone. Right had become wrong, and wrong had become right. We wait with these same characters introduced in the previous book as they deal with these questions: What do I do when my beliefs don’t fit society around me? Will I wait in obedience when my world is crumbling? Is my faith strong enough to carry me through when I’m definitely in the minority? The next book in The New Way Series will take us to Antioch, a city in Syria. Many followers of Jesus have relocated there and the characters, some of whom walked with Jesus as children, now must face adult questions regarding what they believe and how they will let it affect their lives.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Searching for Answers in Capernaum” is the fifth book of “The New Way Series.” It is based on the first century manuscript “Acts of the Apostles” written by Luke. Capernaum is a large city located in Galilee and a place where Jesus once lived and taught. The children of Capernaum thought it was the most wonderful place to grow up. But as they entered adulthood, they realized that not only was Capernaum not perfect, but maybe their ideas and beliefs were changing, too. As they learned of Jesus’ death and resurrection in Jerusalem, they began to search for answers to their questions. Gradually, we see the New Way impacting their world, but we also see Capernaum changing as more and more Jewish Pharisees moved into the area. The New Way that they had discovered became dangerous and even life-threatening as it stood firmly opposed to the traditional beliefs. Acts is a turbulent time of history and Capernaum’s children became adults at a time of great social change. “Searching for Answers in Capernaum” is based in first century Galilee, but is relevant as we contemplate the same questions today. Enjoy the fictional account of how these adults dealt with their changing world. “Waiting in Obedience in Capernaum” is the next book in The New Way Series and continues with the characters you’ll meet in this book. Watch as their world continues to radically change, and they must determine their response.
Book Synopsis Encountering Differences in Antioch of Syria by : Dale Weatherford
Download or read book Encountering Differences in Antioch of Syria written by Dale Weatherford and published by David Weatherford. This book was released on 2024-06-25 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Encountering Differences in Antioch of Syria" is the seventh book of "The New Way Series." It is based on the first century manuscript "Acts of the Apostles" written by Luke. We have seen how the New Way might have moved from Jerusalem to both villages and large cities in Galilee, but Luke records that it also began to impact the surrounding countries — countries that had once been considered archenemies of Israel. The city of Antioch was established by Alexander the Great, but when the Romans took control, they desired to make it the capital city of the region. They provided incentives of property, jobs, housing, and religious freedom. As a result, Antioch soon became the third largest city of the Roman Empire and was filled with people from many different nations. Many followers of Jesus and New Way groups relocated to Antioch. They encountered people from all over the known world, and specifically Pharisees from Jerusalem who were intent on destroying the New Way. Once again, I have chosen to imagine what it must have been like for some of the characters who were introduced in Book #1 of the New Way Series to become adults and relocate to Antioch of Syria. They expected to be in the minority. They were prepared to face the misunderstanding of other religions. But they were surprised to discover that some of the hardest battles were keeping the peace with fellow followers. They had to deal with questions, conflicts, and disagreements as the New Way was being forged and strengthened by its battles. These young adults had to determine what they believed, and what they were willing to sacrifice in order to follow those beliefs. What would they give up in order to be obedient to Jehovah? Watch as these young friends of Jesus became adults in a strange land, far from home. And look forward to the final New Way Series Book #8, "Telling the World from Antioch of Syria," where they begin to face the high price of spreading the New Way deeper and deeper into the uttermost parts of the world.

Book Synopsis Touching Stories of My Life in Journey to Christian Holiness and Hands- on Patient Care in a Weeping Healthcare by : Ramsis F. Ghaly FACS, MD
Download or read book Touching Stories of My Life in Journey to Christian Holiness and Hands- on Patient Care in a Weeping Healthcare written by Ramsis F. Ghaly FACS, MD and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2019-08-26 with total page 985 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the twelfth book of the series “Christianity and the Human Brain.” It integrates the neuroscience and the Bible, the Holy Book of our Lord Jesus. My love for our Lord, Jesus Christ, abides with my lifetime passion for neurosurgery and medicine, my continual obsession of spiritual connectivity of the Holy Spirit to the human brain that indeed separates mankind from all other living creation. It has been my belief that the human brain does not limit itself to the physical skull but rather extends in a nonphysical form to the outside spiritual world, even while living on earth. In other words, a big part of the human brain is actually outside the skull and the body. As I perform brain surgeries for three decades, I realize my theory is so true. The majestic human brain can’t be just the 1,500 grams of jelled matter inside the skull. The human journey, therefore, is transforming the human brain to become a brain of a man of God and the hand of man to a hand of a man of God. The spiritual human brain never dies, only the flesh. It is the center of my calling and unrelenting meditations while roaming in the heartfelt spirit lacking the physical proof that science demand of me. My life is dedicated to my Lord Jesus, patients, and residents. As a physician, I have reached the top in America, I am a professor of both neurological surgery and anesthesiology, and I am well-published in famous medical journals. As an academic teacher, I trained for more than thirty-four years, graduating thousands of trainee. But all is nothing as I strive for the Christian holiness and fullness. In a weeping healthcare with many patients’ falling victims, I included actual patients’ miracles, testimonials, and sincere quotes as a testament to the Almighty and the dire need for faith and integral goodhearted medicine. This book is full of many vibrant stories that I love to share. It is timely since I consider my generation soon will be viewed obsolete to the future generations, and what will remain are the books I authored. The book is a text of wealth covering broad and diverse topics of my life’s journey in 134 chapters and organized over 14 sections. So many chapters are written about my special love for Lord Jesus Christ and His children. In poems, deep reflections, and spiritual release of mind, I wrote extensively. In fact, I shut my senses and impersonated the human brains of the men of God and the children of the Most High in their prominent biblical stories. A special section is dedicated to the mothers, newborns, and little children. While my soul is grieving, a section is designated on the ongoing Christian persecution, especially the genocide of Christians in my country Egypt, the ancient region of the Middle East, and the oldest historic continent of Africa. Furthermore, I wrote some of my dreams and thoughts that I couldn’t otherwise convey for one reason and another, such as neuroscience in aerospace and some of the timely, touching subjects like drug overdose, human trafficking, and healthcare crises. Few chapters included are about my personal views and introducing spirituality into the recent turmoil in politics. Friends, human life starts with love and ends with eternal love for our Savior. It is never enough to share our love, write about love, and talk about actual love stories of heavenly roses, joy, Christmas, healing touch, miracles, and our calling for his purpose. This is what my twelfth book is all about.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This evangelist, St. Matthews, begins with the account of Christ's parentage and birth, the ancestors from whom he descended, and the manner of his entry into the world, to make it appear that he was indeed the Messiah promised, for it was foretold that he should be the son of David, and should be born of a virgin; and that he was so is here plainly shown; for here is, I. His pedigree from Abraham in forty-two generations, three fourteens (v. 1-17). II. An account of the circumstances of his birth, so far as was requisite to show that he was born of a virgin (v. 18-25). Thus methodically is the life of our blessed Saviour written, as lives should be written, for the clearer proposing of the example of them.

The two books in this series will help you to discern your calling from God and then pursue that calling with passion and obedience, relying on the Lord Jesus Christ to fulfill the calling by doing His work in you and through you. In the process, you will experience miracles from God – all to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ! You will benefit by getting to know God in a personal way, deepening your daily walk with Him, and fulfilling your calling. By discerning, responding, and fulfilling your calling, you will experience the abundant life God intends you to have (John 10:10). In his books, Dr. Naresh Malhotra thoroughly explains the various callings of God with great insight from the Scriptures. Whether you are trying to discern and respond to the calling of God on your life, I encourage you to read both books, starting with God is Calling You: Discerning the Calling of God, and following it up with his second book, God is Calling You: Responding to the Calling of God.
