Propone adentrarse en un conjunto de itinerarios teológicos que irrumpieron con propuestas de rutas por las cuales transitar en temas teológicos, bíblicos, éticos, de espiritualidad y pastoral. Se orienta, además, a dar a conocer el pensamiento teológico y la incidencia que ha tenido un grupo de teólogas que se animaron y se animan a mostrar que toda experiencia es contextual, aventurándose a nuevos ámbitos para la racionalidad, uniendo praxis con teoría. Este primer libro de la serie "Mapas de teologías feministas" presenta travesías teológicas, por medio de estudios de autoras iniciadoras, cuyo contexto geográfico es Alemania, América Latina y Estados Unidos. El adjetivo "feminista/s", intrínsecamente unido a estas travesías teológicas, señala la radicalidad de la dignidad de todas y cada una de las mujeres y su "florecimiento", tanto en las sociedades como en las iglesias. Dignidad que incluye por supuesto a los varones, quienes también sufren las consecuencias del androcentrismo y el sexismo deshumanizantes. Así, todo feminismo en perspectiva inclusiva es un desafío que supone un plafón teórico y que a la vez se experimenta de modo multidimensional, transversal y polifacético en la vida concreta de las personas. Y las "teologías feministas", al oponerse aguda y punzantemente a las exclusiones en el ejercicio de su carácter profético, se avocan no solo a la deconstrucción de las teologías con sesgo sexista, sino cada vez más a la construcción de alternativas que hagan creíble el evangelio de Jesús y su buena noticia para nuestro tiempo.
