Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis Gewaltfreie Kommunikation: Das 13-Wochen-Übungsprogramm by : Lucy Leu
Download or read book Gewaltfreie Kommunikation: Das 13-Wochen-Übungsprogramm written by Lucy Leu and published by Junfermann Verlag GmbH. This book was released on 2014-04-23 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis The Politics of Empathy by : Barbara Weber
Download or read book The Politics of Empathy written by Barbara Weber and published by LIT Verlag Münster. This book was released on 2011 with total page 142 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This anthology explores the significance and role of empathy in the public sphere. It examines the use of empathy to establish trans-cultural solidarity as well as to motivate people for political action in our ever increasingly multicultural environment. On a more practical level it investigates if empathy can be taught or cultivated. And, if so, are literature or other forms of cultural representations the most adequate and promising methods. The contributions will analyze these and other implications, potentials and weaknesses of empathy on an interdisciplinary and intercultural level.
Book Synopsis Emotional Competence by : Dagmar Rudel-Steinbauer
Download or read book Emotional Competence written by Dagmar Rudel-Steinbauer and published by epubli. This book was released on 2017-07-13 with total page 129 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'What is the use to reach the moon if we cannot overcome the chasm that separates us from ourselves? This is the most important expedition and without it, all others are useless.' (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, French writer and pilot (1900–1944) To recognize emotions and to keep a respectful manner with them is a skill of every single human, which should not be underestimated. Emotional competence plays an important - maybe even the most significant – role on the way to personal development, like Antoine de Saint-Exupery already put it to the point. Phsychotherapists talk about humans to be threatened by alienation from themselves due to a lack of self-perception and an overload of external stimuli. The inner world, the world of emotions and needs, runs the risk of being neglected. Futurologists think that values like empathy and emotions will be more requested than ever henceforward. Psychologists realize that the availability of emotional competence is the key which unlocks the door on the way to all other social competences. In this book you will learn about the importance of emotional competence for your personal, professional and private success. It is the ideal manual for everybody who is ready to start out for one's own fountain of success. You get answers to following questions: – What is emotional competence exactly? – How can emotional competence can promote personal, professional and private success? – Which possibilities and methods exist to promote and develop emotional competence for oneself?

Book Synopsis Gewaltfreie Kommunikation und Macht by : Marshall B. Rosenberg
Download or read book Gewaltfreie Kommunikation und Macht written by Marshall B. Rosenberg and published by Junfermann Verlag GmbH. This book was released on 2017-09-08 with total page 177 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis Scanning Electron Microscopy and X-Ray Microanalysis by : Joseph Goldstein
Download or read book Scanning Electron Microscopy and X-Ray Microanalysis written by Joseph Goldstein and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-11-11 with total page 679 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book has evolved by processes of selection and expansion from its predecessor, Practical Scanning Electron Microscopy (PSEM), published by Plenum Press in 1975. The interaction of the authors with students at the Short Course on Scanning Electron Microscopy and X-Ray Microanalysis held annually at Lehigh University has helped greatly in developing this textbook. The material has been chosen to provide a student with a general introduction to the techniques of scanning electron microscopy and x-ray microanalysis suitable for application in such fields as biology, geology, solid state physics, and materials science. Following the format of PSEM, this book gives the student a basic knowledge of (1) the user-controlled functions of the electron optics of the scanning electron microscope and electron microprobe, (2) the characteristics of electron-beam-sample inter actions, (3) image formation and interpretation, (4) x-ray spectrometry, and (5) quantitative x-ray microanalysis. Each of these topics has been updated and in most cases expanded over the material presented in PSEM in order to give the reader sufficient coverage to understand these topics and apply the information in the laboratory. Throughout the text, we have attempted to emphasize practical aspects of the techniques, describing those instru ment parameters which the microscopist can and must manipulate to obtain optimum information from the specimen. Certain areas in particular have been expanded in response to their increasing importance in the SEM field. Thus energy-dispersive x-ray spectrometry, which has undergone a tremendous surge in growth, is treated in substantial detail.
