Book excerpt: [Siren Classic ManLove: Erotic Romance, Contemporary, Paranormal, Alternative, Fantasy, Wizards, Magic, MM, HEA] Philon Faustas, ice cream maker, has a bold plan to gain the attention of Prince Thomas of the Isle of Seers ruling family. It does involve breaking a law or two and getting arrested, but it’s worth it because right now, Thomas doesn’t even know Philon exists. The plan goes askew when Philon accidently touches a magical object which transports him and Thomas miles from home into the middle of a crazy Hunters attack. There are some positives though. Thomas now knows who Philon is, that they’re mates, and Philon gets to have an adventure! Thomas Visione is not happy being kidnapped, but soon finds himself captivated with his mate. The ice cream maker is fun, a bit flighty, and positive. Thomas is ambitious and serious and doesn’t have time for impromptu holidays, but with Philon, he finds himself falling so deeply and so quickly for his mate he’s happy with as many impromptu holidays as Philon wants.

Book excerpt: [Siren Menage Amour ManLove: Erotic Romance, Alternative, Paranormal, Shape-shifters, Fantasy, MMM, HEA] Tamid Farsi couldn’t believe it! He had another mate! A very delicious man who preferred spinach smoothies over beer, was skilled with a gun, could flip a person twice his size with little effort, and often couldn’t fathom why people did what they did. As an artist, Tam saw deeper and in Dene Owlington, he saw a gem. Suspended again from the police force, sharp shooter Dene Owlington is questioning his career choice. When he decided to become a cop, the rules seemed to make sense. These days they didn’t. Enforcer Baron Sanchez knew how precious a mate was. With Tamid, they had a deeply caring mateship that was passionate and fun. Tam was his special someone. They got each other. What he didn't get was Dene. With a staunch sense of right and duty, Baron worked hard to make a connection with his new mate. Will passion ever burn between them? With his life with Tam on the line, he sure hoped so.

Book excerpt: 1922. The Australian author, Henry Handel Richardson's (Ethel Florence Lindesay Richardson), is best remembered for The Fortunes of Richard Mahony trilogy. Her novel, Maurice Guest, plays out the history of Maurice and Louise against the background of the musical life in Leipzig, of which she has intimate knowledge, having studied music there herself. The other figures in the drama, Madeleine, Krafft, Ephie, Schwarz's wife, landladies and musical students, are inevitably pieces in the principal game, and yet are never deliberately so placed there by the author in order to assist the final catastrophe. Book excerpt: Eliza Hamilton Dunlop (1796–1880) arrived in Sydney in 1838 and became almost immediately notorious for her poem “The Aboriginal Mother,” written in response to the infamous Myall Creek massacre. She published more poetry in colonial newspapers during her lifetime, but for the century following her death her work was largely neglected. In recent years, however, critical interest in Dunlop has increased, in Australia and internationally and in a range of fields, including literary studies; settler, postcolonial and imperial studies; and Indigenous studies. This stimulating collection of essays by leading scholars considers Dunlop's work from a range of perspectives and includes a new selection of her poetry.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What all of mankind have learned in the past about creation is the way that existence isn't -- a paradox! Awaken and realize that all of mankind will create their "body for Ascension," whether they accomplish this now or later, and that this is not the exclusive domain of Christ or Buddha or many others who have ascended -- this is your birthright. You are not relegated to worshipping those who have already done this very basic initiation called Ascension. Christ and Buddha would be the first to acknowledge that they are just beginners on their eternal journey. When mankind lifts the veils of their unworthiness and recognize that the are the Sons of God, that there is divine equality and no one is greater than another, then you will have begun our journey in the way that it was intended. In your near future your Planetary Hierarchy will release the world from theology, ecclesiasticism and the wrathful Jehovah and return humanity to its rightful journey into spiritualizing matter, not worshipping it! The Mahatma is for those who are motivated to search for the answers that can respond to their mental and spiritual bodies. In the past, mankind?s choices of beliefs and religions have supported only the emotional body and the darker, material side of life. And truly, if one is going to remain on Earth, very drastic shifts of consciousness will be required to have mankind remain in Earth?s new fourth-dimensional reality. No matter how contrary to your current beliefs, this book contains methods for creating your spiritual Lightbody for Ascension, and it also explains your eternal journey in a way that was never before available to mankind.

Book excerpt: An Ennie- and Golden Geek-award-winning supplement for Trail of Cthulhu. These cycles of experience, of course, all stem from that worm-riddled book. I remember when I found it in a dimly lighted place near the black, oily river where the mists always swirl. The Book. Forbidden Tomes. Bookhounds of London is a brand new campaign setting for Trail of Cthulhu, packed with period detail, where the Investigators seek out books about horror and strangeness and become, seemingly inevitably, drawn into the horror themselves. It provides in-depth material on London in the 1930s, carefully slanted towards Mythos investigators. An Ancient City. Bookhounds London is a city of cinemas, electric lights, global power and the height of fashion. Its about the horrors the cancers that lurk in the capital, in the very beating heart of human civilization. A Templar altar might well crouch, mostly forgotten, in the dreary Hackney Marshes, but altars to false gods tower over the metaphorical swamps of Fleet Street and Whitehall. And as for lost, prehuman ruins whos to say what lies under London, if you dig deep enough? Terrible Choices. The PCs arent stalwart G-men or tweedy scholars exploring forbidden frontiers. Instead, they acquire maps (and maybe guidebooks) to those forbidden frontiers from fusty libraries and prestigious auction houses. They are Book-Hounds, looking for profit in mouldy vellum and leather bindings, balancing their own books by finding first editions for Satanists and would-be sorcerers. They may not quite know what they traffic in, or they may know rather better than their clientele, but needs must when the bills come in. This volume includes:32 authentic full-colour maps with unique new street index of London in the 1930s, and plans of major buildings. A Mythos take on London in the 1930s, packed with contacts, locations and rumours. New abilities such as Document Analysis, Auction and Forgery, as well as new oc
