Book Synopsis The Water Engine by : José Antonio Alías García
Download or read book The Water Engine written by José Antonio Alías García and published by Editorial Alvi Books. This book was released on 2019-09-30 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The "water engine" is an invention unfortunately invented many times. Hydrogen from water is very abundant, renewable and can be used in both energy poor and rich countries. Crude oil and natural gas are limited energy resources. But there are many people who think that certain promising technologies have been suppressed by various political or economic powers, usually with the purpose of protecting their investments and interests and, at the already more absurd extremes of the conspiracy illogical, for sinister motivations of much greater scope. In this new work, the versatile composer and writer Van Jaag, accompanies us on an exciting journey through the history of this unknown invention and its invented inventors.

Book Synopsis Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Water Introduction Into DI Diesel Engine Combustion by : Peter Eckert
Download or read book Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Water Introduction Into DI Diesel Engine Combustion written by Peter Eckert and published by Logos Verlag Berlin GmbH. This book was released on 2008 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis Rocket Engine Jet Blast Attenuation in Water by : Grady W. Leese
Download or read book Rocket Engine Jet Blast Attenuation in Water written by Grady W. Leese and published by . This book was released on 1967 with total page 54 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The investigation was conducted to determine the feasibility of launching missiles and superboosters from overwater sites. Information is needed to predict the depth of liquid-propellant rocket engine exhaust gas penetration into water. Methods will be required to minimize the depth of blast penetration and the upward splash of water. Since these large vehicles will generate high levels of noise during static test firing or lift-off, some method of noise suppression is desired in order to control possible harmful conditions for working personnel and to limit the size of the required test or launch area. Overwater blast tests with small-scale rocket engines of 250-, 500-, and 1000-lb thrusts were conducted (a) without underwater devices, (b) with underwater screens, and (c) with an underwater deflecting device exhausting into a group of cylindrical screens. Based on the results of this study, the following conclusions are believed warranted: (a) The rocket engine exhaust blast-penetration tests show that a relation exists between height of engine above the water, engine thrust, and depth of blast penetration into the water. (b) Depth of blast penetration can be reduced by an underwater deflecting device. (c) Splash action and noise intensity can be reduced by the use of an underwater deflector which directs the exhaust into a number of horizontal concentric, cylindrical screens. (Author).
