Endorsed by Vlastimil Slechta who qualified for English Bodybuilding Championship Finals. This is a cost effective Black & White version with a glossy color cover. The book is also available separately on Kindle.Achieve steroid like results with legitimate bodybuilding supplements. Save up to $100 a month when you stop wasting money on some useless hyped supplements. Discover what supplements professional bodybuilders use to get results. Before I start let me be honest with you, the supplements I describe will speed up your progress incredibly fast but will not do the gym work for you, even steroids are useless without really hard workouts. Let me tell you how I became a recognized fitness book writer selling my books in print and Kindle worldwide. 7 years ago I thought: "Well I am not a youthful teenager anymore so if I want to look awesome for the rest of my life and attract anyone just with my physique I need to go to the gym and workout really hard till I get huge biceps and a chiseled six pack." When you look great you feel fantastic, confident and happy. I went ahead and bought loads of different fitness magazines. Those days I trusted fitness magazines, sorted out my workout routine, and then spent, spent and spent around $200 a month on bodybuilding supplements. All those ads for supplements in the fitness magazines featuring bodybuilders with astonishing physiques convinced me that I could be just like them very soon if I follow their working out routine and take all the supplements they recommend. How naive I was! I did not think that those ads are just a way to earn some money for a bodybuilder and nothing to do with what really the bodybuilder takes. I tried all supplements from bodybuilding magazines for 3 years solid. And you know what, my physique has improved a little but nowhere near to what I wanted. "I became really annoyed. $200 on supplements a month multiplied by 3 years is huge $7200!" Some bodybuilders spend even more than that. I was thinking, may be steroids are the answer but one of my friends nearly died of a heart attack because of steroids, steroids are illegal and if anyone finds out you use steroids you can never be a paid fitness model. After chatting to many of my bodybuilder friends I decided avoid the use of steroids full stop. However during those conversations with my friends (most of whom you would recognize from bodybuilding magazines) I slowly began to understand: "A lot of supplements are just useless hype and the proven ones are useful only if you know exactly what those supplements do, how they works in your body, how they interact with each other, when and how to take them correctly." I decided to spend one year on research, interviewing professional bodybuilders, reading scientific research papers, buying products and testing them on myself! I became a personal trainer myself, I gained the physique I always dreamt of in half a year, before I could not achieve the physique for 3 years. Additionally to finding out the correct workout routines, I found how to speed up my progress by 3 or more times, how to feed my muscles, what my muscles need, what supplements have properly conducted research and are proven. Then I started sharing this invaluable information with my friends and clients. I put it in a simple language so everyone can understand. It took me another year to write the most comprehensive guide on legit bodybuilding supplements. I sent my book to many professional bodybuilders and Vlastimil Sletcha was so impressed that he endorsed the book, he said: "Truth About Bodybuilding Supplements is the book that anyone serious about growing muscles must have, it is new, the only, and most comprehensive detailed guide on well over 30 bodybuilding supplements with facts any serious bodybuilder must know"

And if you've ever wondered if you're missing a piece of the puzzle, know that I once felt the same way. But if you are missing a piece of the puzzle, I can assure you that it is not some secret training program, technique, or supplement... Because building muscle isn't as complicated as the fitness industry wants you to believe. There are no more remaining "secrets" that you need to unravel, regardless of whatever the next fitness guru tells you. Truth is the health and fitness industry is a lucrative market that is being capitalized on by marketers... And people like us - people who want to become the best versions of ourselves - are being taken advantage of and sold the same concepts repackaged under different names. Other times, we are lied to about our natural potential, and oversold the benefits that their products or supplements can bring us. But building muscle is actually a really simple process. With references to over 20 of the best scientific studies available, discover: How to avoid the most common mistake people make with their training and programming (pg. 8) Why "new and revolutionary" is a marketing tool, and just how old the newest training revolution really is (pg. 4) How to tell good research from bad, the different levels of scientific evidence, and how to properly gauge "backed by science" and "research-based" claims (pg. 29) What the ideal rep range for muscle growth really is (hint: it's not 8-12 reps!) (pg. 68) How to quantify your training the correct way using the new, scientifically-accepted formula for volume (pg. 81) How you can make up to 63% more gains changing only 1 training variable (pg. 65) Why strength training and periodization is unnecessary for muscle growth (pg. 73, 94) The advantage hardgainers have when it comes to building muscle (pg. 118) What supplements you should consider, especially if you don't eat animal products (one of which can alleviate symptoms of mental retardation) (pg. 130) Why bench presses are not enough for chest development; the underused triceps extension for better triceps development; and why overhead presses may be a waste of time (pg. 144) The laws of muscle growth - understand and apply these 2-3 concepts and you WILL build muscle (pg. 18) Not only is everything in this book backed by science, but there are also observations from World renowned coaches. Book excerpt: From skinny scholar to muscle-bound showman. “Easily the best memoir ever written about weight training, steroids and all” (Men’s Journal). When blue-blooded, storklike Samuel Wilson Fussell arrived in New York City fresh from the University of Oxford, the ethereal young graduate seemed like the last person on Earth who would be interested in bodybuilding. But he was intimidated by the dangers of the city—and decided to do something about it. At twenty-six, Fussell walked into the YMCA gym. Four solid years of intensive training, protein powders, and steroid injections later, he had gained eighty pounds of pure muscle and was competing for bodybuilding titles. And yet, with forearms like bowling pins and calves like watermelons, Fussell felt weaker than ever before. His punishing regimen of workouts, drugs, and diet had reduced him to near-infant-like helplessness and immobility, leaving him hungry, nauseated, and prone to outbursts of “ ’roid rage.” But he had come to succeed, and there was no backing down now. Alternately funny and fascinating, Muscle is the true story of one man’s obsession with the pursuit of perfection. With insight, wit, and refreshing candor, Fussell ushers readers into the wild world of juicers and gym rats who sacrifice their lives, minds, bodies, and souls to their dreams of glory in Southern California’s so-called iron mecca.

Book excerpt: The title of this book, ''the good, the bad & the ugly'', briefly explains the deeper aspect of what iron sport is about and represents. The good refers to the flashy and glamorous side of it. Tanned, oiled, shaved, ripped, veiny and muscular bodies posing on stage. Supreme physiques that reveal this majestic-but misunderstood sport. The bad, encloses all the sacrifices as part of this discipline life style. Dedication, devotion, tunnel vision that basically build a strong character and will power. The ugly side of bodybuilding is hardly revealed, simply because truth hurts and shocks.Drug abuse leads to a plethora of side effects and diseases, making bodybuilding a potentially dangerous life style. Only a physician who walked his talk (as a former competitive bodybuilder), could say it better than anyone else, with reality.

Book excerpt: The extraordinary story of a skinny lad from Manchester who rose to become British Champion bodybuilder. And there the clichés end in this gritty, humorous, and brutally honest tale which strips away the dream tan and any illusion of a glamorous lifestyle to lay bare the sport as never before. Jim Moore writes about the all-too-often taboo subjects of performance-enhancing drugs, the debilitating illnesses and mental health problems which blight the scene. He takes the reader behind the stage curtain to reveal the murky depths to which some--including himself--will plunge in search of success. Moore reveals the shocking contradictions and dangers inherent in the bread-and-butter running of the sport, matched only by the intensity and insanity of his own dedication. It was this never-say-die approach which eventually saw Moore crowned a national champion five times; but also an attitude which ultimately almost caused his death.
