Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Scene by scene, we are surrounded by the theatrics of the passion. The panorama begins as Israel performs her seven solemn, ritualistic feasts pointing to the downfall of the walls of her spiritual captivity. The messianic application to Israels memorial feasts is central to her preparation to enjoy her long-awaited eternal freedom. As this theme remains the central focus, it is followed by the redemption of the world as revealed through these feasts. So beautifully illustrated in the Tenach--the Jewish Bible--is how the Messiah was predicted by these feasts to be the Savior of the world. In retrospect, reliving scenes through the narrative, you will discover hidden truth underneath the surface of Israels celebrations. Discover the purposes of the different Sabbaths given to Israel and how each points to a unique aspect of either creation or redemption. Here you have it, from many years of lectures, discussions and devoted contemplation on the passion of the Christ is brought to you from a unique and inspirational perspective, Gods message to His called and chosen people. Many mysteries and controversies with regard to Christs week of passion are brought to the surface and addressed. Harmony of the four Gospels addressing days and times of each event is clearly mapped. How you can as an individual or as a body of believers apply these lessons from a Christian or Messianic perspective is clearly revealed. Understanding, internalizing, and applying Gods Word should be the object of every Bible study.

The panorama begins as Israel performs seven solemn, ritualistic feasts pointing to the dismemberment of his physical and spiritual captivity. The messianic application to Israel’s memorial feasts is central to his preparation to enjoy his long-awaited eternal freedom. In The Seven Feasts of Israel and the Messiah, 3rd Edition, Dr. Jean explores the purpose of the different sabbaths given to Israel and how each point to a unique aspect of either creation or redemption. The gospel to the chosen people is explained in a unique and fresh perspective. Tracing the path of their dispersion, punishment, and re-acceptance is clearly mapped. God’s latter-day program for the chosen people can now be seen from clear messages from the Bible. Considering the topic of the feasts through the lens of scripture, Jean describes commonalities and differences of feasts religions recognize, providing an important historical and spiritual viewpoint.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The seven annual Feasts of the people of Israel were: Passover, Bread Asmos, Firstfruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles (Leviticus 23). There is a huge need for the Church of Christ today, understand the prophetic meanings of the feasts of the Lord, even because they are linked to our redemption. The seven Jewish festivals (the feasts of the Lord) was ordained by God to the people of Israel through his servant Moses described in the Torah (the Bible), specifically in the book of Leviticus chapter 23. ”Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, The solemnities of Lord, whom ye shall summon, they shall be holy summons; these are my solemnities (My parties/My commitments): These are the solemnities of the Lord, the holy summons, which ye shall call in due time determined . (Leviticus 23:2-4) These parties were a teaching tool for the children of Israel. They typified the coming of the Messiah and his final return for the salvation of the nation. The first four parties, also called festivals of the spring”, point to the first coming of the Messiah, which were perfectly fulfilled by the Messiah Jesus (Yeshua) on certain days. Pesach (Passover) points to crucifixion and death of Yeshua (Jesus). (Fulfilled) Matzot (Unleavened Bread) point to the burial of Yeshua (Jesus). (Fulfilled) Habikurim (Firstfruits) point to the Resurrection of Yeshua (Jesus). (Fulfilled) Shavuot (Pentecost) point to the descent of the (Ruach Hakodesh) Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. (Fulfilled at his first coming) and the resurrection of the Church at its second coming (very close to being fulfilled) The last three parties, also called parties of theautumn” point to the second coming of the Messiah. The first festival of autumn is Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah known as the Feast of Trumpets which prophetically point to the Rapture of the remnant of the Church. (Very close to being fulfilled) Maranatha! Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) is the day of forgiveness and points for the redemption of Israel during the tribulation period. (still to be fulfilled) Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) Point to Return from the Messiah to the earth and the establishment of the millennial Kingdom. (still to be fulfilled) Having the cycle of the first four parties been fully fulfilled by the Messiah (Yeshua) at his first coming, the cycle of the last three parties will also be perfectly fulfilled by the Messiah at his second coming. To fully understand the prophecies of the rapture contained in the Bible, it is important that attend to two points: first, it is important to have understanding the prophetic meaning of the Jewish festivals of the Lord; and second, it is important to know the Jewish idioms of the first century, used by the Messiah and his apostles. OK highlight that both Yeshua (Jesus) and the apostles, they were all Jews, followers of the Torah (Pentateuch) and the Tanach (Old Testament). This book is intended to help the reader understand the prophetic sense of these parties and prepare for the biggest event in human history: the rapture.

When Jehovah, who is Jesus Christ, met with Moses at Mt. Sinai, He gave detailed instructions on the building of the tabernacle/temple and its services that included seven holy feast days, or convocations, to be kept by all the children of Israel. The timing, dates, sacrifices and rituals surrounding these feasts is explained in Leviticus 23, where the Lord includes the instruction that the feast days "shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations" (Lev. 23:21). The Israelites were comanded to remember them forever. We can use the Bible and other resources to teach our families about the feast days and help them to recognize them as a furthur witness of God's great Plan of Salvation.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: John situates certain events in Jesus' ministry specifically during four Jewish festival seasons: Sabbath, Passover, Tabernacles, and Dedication. According to John, Jesus replaces these feasts in his special relationship to the Father, making them obsolete. The Book of Signs [John 1:19-12:50], is important for this study because it is here that John explores the significance of Jesus in light of the symbolism of the Jewish feasts. . . . We will therefore focus our discussion predominately on the Book of Signs, pointing out in the course of our study where the festival motifs are resumed in the Book of Glory [John 13:1-20:31]. --from the Introduction
