Book excerpt: “It is the best treatment of the person and work of the enemy I have ever read.” — R.C. Sproul, from the foreword to God’s Devil Many Christians are oblivious to the Devil and his schemes, and this is precisely the problem. If you don’t know why you need to know about the Devil, then this book is especially for you. In God’s Devil, pastor and scholar Erwin W. Lutzer takes us to the corners of Scripture to which we seldom go. With surprising insights and potent quotes at every turn, God’s Devil will: Teach you how Satan fits into God’s great plans for the world Give you confidence in God’s everlasting victory over Satan Equip you to withstand Satan’s schemes against you Martin Luther once said, “Even the Devil is God’s devil.” So while this is a book about Satan, it is even more about God’s sovereign power over him. Read it for comfort, read it for peace, and read it for strength. Consider digging deeper with the God’s Devil DVD and study guide.

Book excerpt: ?As I sat down to write this story, its basic themes had been much on my mind for a very long time: What did it look like from heaven when God created all things? What did it look like when Lucifer rebelled and was thrown out of heaven? What motivated him? I've also been fascinated by God's Destroying angel, Abaddon, who appears many times in the Bible. I've wondered what he must be like. Unlike certain Biblical scholars, I do not believe Abaddon is evil. While the Book of Revelation mentions that he is the ruler of the abyss, the ultimate ruler of the abyss is God Himself, and God is not evil. Rather, every time Abaddon appears in scripture, he is doing precisely what God has told him to do. That is how he appears in Revelation 21, unleashing the forces of evil on the earth to bring about mankind's end, just as God foretold through the prophets.1 Speaking of evil, this story also deals with its origin. It states unequivocally that God created the devil and the demons that live in hell. How could that be, one of my readers asked? How could a good, righteous and holy God create these evil beings? Well, I can't explain why He did it; but I do know that He did do it, because this is absolutely unequivocally stated by God Himself in Scripture. For example, He says in Isaiah 45: 6b-7: "I am the LORD, and there is no

Book excerpt: The devil (Satan) has been able to fool the church and Christians ever since the early church went to bed with Rome around AD 330 under Emperor Constantine, who supposedly had a conversion to Christianity. The pagan religion brought all the false teachings and false gods all the way back to Egypt. And that system is just as false today. Repeatedly God warned the Jews in the Old and New Testaments that there are no gods but He alone. Yet we're still taught that by a rebellion Lucifer and Satan fell from heaven, which would make them gods. But the scripture verse in 1 Samuel 15:23 states specifically "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft." And there is absolutely no sin in the third heaven or there would be death in heaven. So the title To Hell with the Devil: It's Time to Blow the Lid Off Lucifer's Coffin. This will certainly make Satan uncontrollable mad and upset if this book comes to publication. He does not like being exposed as the complete liar that he has been from the beginning. Unfortunately, because of the past presidential election of 2020, he has managed to get his foot in the door of the US government. But he won't be satisfied until he takes over the entire USA. And as long as Christians and Patriots remain silent, it will all be over but the shouting. What I have written from the word of God only is the absolute truth. But as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said to those Serpents (Sadducees and Pharisees) in John 8:40, "But now you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth which I heard of God." And as the apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall heap to themselves teachers having itching ears and they will turn from the truth and shall and shall be turned unto fables." That is certainly what has happened in our time. But Satan's ultimate goal is the complete destruction of God's church.

Book excerpt: In the time of Adam and Eve there was an Angel named Lucifer. He had deceived God’s newest creation and was banished from Heaven to serve in Hell. Lucifer created many things himself, just as God had. The one that most terrifies man is the Incubi, a demon that comes down to prey on unsuspecting humans while they sleep. The Elders were put in charge of the Incubi world. The Elders have strict rules. Go to Earth. Impregnate a woman in order to rule all of Earth, as it was Lucifer’s plan to take control over all that God had created both Heaven and Earth. Many centuries ago, an Incubus was created. He did not believe in the old ways and fought against them. The Elders had rules for such times if an Incubi refused to do what they were created for. The Incubi would be banished to Earth to live like all Earth creatures lived, in their form, as Incubi were shape-shifters. There was one rule when banished, the Incubi was forced to live their life alone. They were not allowed to love, marry, or have a family, although for the incubus, he could still impregnate a woman, and the succubus could become pregnant, but if she shifted, that child would be lost. The day ‘Nate’ was created they say it was the beginning of the rebellion. After he was banished to Earth, many more followed, as they too did not believe in the old ways. There was just one thing the Incubi Elders failed to think of. The hand of God created Lucifer, the hand of Lucifer created demons. Therefore, the Incubi were the work of God. If given the chance, they would serve God.

Unless we grasp how the devil fits into God's scheme of things, we will find it difficult to stand against his conspiracy against us personally and his influence within our culture. We can have a proper theology of the devil only if we have a proper theology of God. Only when we stand in awe of God will we find it unnecessary to be in awe of Satan. As Martin Luther once said, 'The devil is God's devil.' God is still in control. The Serpent of Paradise gives an overview of the career of Satan and his interaction with the Almighty. It traces his fall from an exalted position to his demise in everlasting shame and contempt. It shows us that Satan always loses even when 'he wins.' Best of all, it confirms that we who have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light are able to stand against him. Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. ~ Ephesians 6:10-11 NIV. The Serpent of Paradise is a book about Satan, but it is also a book about God's power, God's program, and God's purposes in this world.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a story about a wager between an angel and a demon over the direction a man ́s life will take. All of the stories in this book are based on true events that occurred in the life of the author or in Biblical history. There have been many testimonials written that describe the lifestyles that people have been delivered from but very few address the struggles that ordinary Christians face when they begin their walk with God. Most people will struggle with the flesh and with wrong attitudes and will not know how to deal with the demons that will come to tempt, discourage, and oppress them. I want people who read this book to be able to identify with some of the struggles faced by the characters and be encouraged that they are not alone in their own personal struggles. Salvation is instant but holiness is a lifelong journey that requires constant maintenance checks. I want to assure them that God loves them despite their shortcomings and still wants to use them to build His kingdom. The purpose of this book is to entertain, educate, and equip. I put the story into a fiction format to attract the average reader who is interested in God, angels, and demons but doesn ́t necessarily attend church services. I tried to fill the srories with information about God and the benefits of being a Christian. I want to make them aware of the demonic forces arrayed against them and teach them about the power that is available to them to combat these forces of darkness. There are many scripture references and Biblical reenactments that should spark curiosity and provoke the reader to further bible study on their own. For the serious Bible student there is a wealth of information from the Book of Enoch and the Testament of Solomon. Although this is a work of fiction there was a lot of reseach done and the information found in this book can be used to help you make the right decisions in life, to protect yourself from demonic entities, and to have a more satisfying relationship with God and enjoy the benefits of being in covenant with Him.

Come, answer at the bar of reason, For I would know the reason why, If we are made in God's own image, Canst tell me why we all must die? Tell me about the heathen nations Who do not know the living God; They who never heard of Jesus Christ, Must they all saps beneath the rod? If God is love and full of mercy What thinkest thou, or can you tell, Will it serve the ends of justice best To leave the heathen all in hell? Or, is there provision in God's great plan For the just heathen man to be, When the dead of every clime are raised, A part of His great company? Then, if this be true, why did God send His Son to die upon the tree? Or, if there are degrees in heaven, What will their cro'wns of glory be?

Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Rebellion of Hell: A Poem Like the epic poets I have mingled throughout, the probable and improbable, in art. Homer in his Iliad mixes mortals and immortals, that is, men and women, with gods and goddesses; the first being the probable and the last the improbable. When Neptune rides through the sea to the shore for the purpose of inspiring the troops by means of a speech, and when Venus with wounded hand from the battlefield mounts weeping to heaven, we know that, while such things are improbable, they are necessary to carry on the main design of Homer. Virgil is a reflection of the Greek. The Catholic epics, Dante and Tasso, and the Protestant, Milton, have each used different forms of the improbable, all of which are unlike those of the Iliad. Tasso has his spells and enchantments, Dante his shades and angels, Milton his personal god and devil, and each a mixture of all. But modern Christianity requires another form of expression in heroic poetry aside from any of these. As is seen in The Rebellion, both Heaven and hell are considered as present conditions of mind, divided into the Spiritual and carnal, and fought accordingly. That much is strictly metaphysical, thoughts taking human shape and going about as men; and this, according to art, is the improbable. But there is something else. Book excerpt: "A stirring invitation to join the great adventure for which we were born." -Eric Metaxas, Bestselling Author of Bonhoeffer "Not so much a book but a manifesto, a call to a roaring spiritual resistance." -Lou Engle, Co-Founder of The Call "He was counted among the rebels..." (Luke 22:37 NLT). Have we forgotten crucial aspects of the nature of Jesus? Savior, healer, deliverer, and friend are words that may come to mind when considering the person of Christ, yet in this dynamic book, Pastors Todd and Kelly Hudnall offer a unique take on a forgotten descriptor of His nature: rebel. Holy Rebel invites the reader to not merely admire Christ's rebellion against the kingdom of darkness, but to duplicate that same rebellion. Drawing on references from the Old and New Testaments, Todd and Kelly challenge the reader to forsake passive Christianity for a bold lifestyle that threatens hell's agenda. This book is a clarion call that will both motivate and mobilize believers to resist the very forces that so dominate our culture. Expect to be challenged in your walk with Christ as you arm yourself with righteousness, holiness, and truth. Our children, churches, communities-and even our nation-are at stake. Find a detailed, practical roadmap within these pages to help protect what God has given by resisting the plan of the evil one. Believers are not called to merely go with the flow. Instead, we are called to change the very direction of the tide-and this book shows you how.
