This book series chronicles the life of a girl from age five to thirty-nine. She has suffered physical, mental, emotional, and drug abuse. She has cheated death and lived to tell her story. If you have been molested, if you have been raped, if you have been in an abusive relationship, if you have ran for your life, if you have been rejected, if you have been abandoned, if you have been looked over, if you are a teen parent, if you are a confused teen, if you suffer from false identity, if you suffer from hurt and pain, and if you suffer from heartache and pain, it does not matter if you are a boy or a girl, man or woman, hurt is hurt, and shame is shame. I wrote this series to shame the devil and glorify God. I tell all my hidden dark secrets to dethrone the devil of my past and make Jesus Lord of all my past, present, and future. I’m free to be the real me, who God created me to be, and you are too. Jesus freed me from a life of lies, abuse, sex, and drugs, and he has the power to free you too.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Made for Him (God Uniquely Made Me for My Husband) is the fifth and final book of the behind-the-scene book series. Sequel to the "real Antonette come forth" book series, Made for Him is about God making and molding me for one special man—how he built me out of the rib he took from my husband. God, my father Jehovah, made me with his hands. He gave me the hips, lips, brains, and butt that my husband would love. When he sees me, his response will be wow. That's why we are called women. That's a joke I like to think Adam was amazed when he awoke and saw Eve. All he could say was wow. I am a firm believer that men are captured by what they see first. First, their eyes then their heart follows. But God equipped me to be a helpmeet to one man in particular, not two or three. I was made to help my husband, my king fulfill his destiny—our destiny. I am loaded with skill, talent, ability, thought, plan, and strategy to come alongside and help my husband. The lie has been told for years that behind every good man is a good woman. I tend to think beside every great man is a great woman. God took us from his side, not his back; God placed us to walk at his left side, not in front of him. We are to our husband what the Holy Spirit is to us—sent to help alongside us. That's his function, to come alongside us to help us, never to take over, but to assist, to aide, and to share in the work. So sit back and enjoy how I was designed to help my king. By the time this book releases, he would have found me, because now I can honestly say I am ready to be joined to my king, my pillar, my husband. You are a treasure. Something found on the surface is not worth much. It has very little value because it was easy to find. You have to dig deep to find gold. To find a treasure, gold is a treasure. You have to do a ton of research, a ton of work, a ton of labor just to find the right place, the right area of the gold to even begin to dig. You have to put in a lot of supplications to the Lord, a lot of laboring in prayer with the Lord, a lot of questions with the Lord, a lot of time in the face of the Lord. You are a treasure to me; you are gold to me. God has prepared you for me. God has made you for me. I said, "God you made this woman just for me?" He said, "Yes. you are my gold." Gold when found has to be processed—it has to be refined. The process of refining is hot. Refining is the most critical time. You are gold. God had to process you. God was refining you just for me. Thank you for not turning back. You stayed focus and still focus. You had to be tried with fire to be proven. God has to prove you before he can use you. God has made you a channel of blessings to many generations. Revelations to revelations, glory to glory, faith to faith. Thank God, I found you my queen, my woman, my treasure. I was captivated the first time I saw your picture, and when I read your words, my heart was arrested and I was consumed by the love of God in your eyes and Jesus in your smile. I said, "My God, this is her—my queen." I have found you. You are my last bus stop! —Oluwagbemiga David Olusola—my king, my love, my friend, my pillar, my husband. Lagos, Nigeria

Book excerpt: Our Journey to Oneness: How He Found Me is our story of how we were 6,202 miles apart; how our Father, Jehovah, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit was talking to us about the same plans, dreams, and visions for our lives in their kingdom; how our meeting would be from afar--meaning, we had never met or seen each other. We had no idea He meant we were from different countries, that my prayer would be answered as I prayed my husband would know I'm his wife at first sight. As I opened my mouth to speak the words of kindness, Oluwagbemiga would experience peace like never before. Once he found me, his mind would be at rest because his lifelong seeking had been fulfilled as God promised him. As we share the story of God's unfailing love for us, we just celebrated our second year of marriage. We tell you about our waiting, meeting, engagement, wedding, and foundation building of our marriage, ministry, businesses, home, and family.
Book Synopsis Life After Losing A Child by : Antonette Smith
Download or read book Life After Losing A Child written by Antonette Smith and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2021-09-24 with total page 69 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Life After Losing a Child is dedicated to my son, Antonio Smith-Scott (May 23, 1992–March 5, 2013) and in honor of my mother, Flora Scott (August 25, 1949–January 3, 2020), who birthed eight children and lost six before her own death. Life After Losing a Child is based on my own experiences—from a mother’s perspective losing a child, from a sibling’s perspective losing brothers in early childhood, how the death of my brothers affected my parents and our family. I also share how losing my own son affected my family, my four other children, and their father. Millions of parents lose a child every day and are left struggling, trying to not be overtaken with grief for the rest of our lives. We suffer from guilt, shame, hurt, pain, and sorrows until we allow Jesus to heal us. Losing a child from a miscarriage, stillbirth, sickness, deformities, abortions, accidents, or homicides—all these losses of a child carries the same hurts, pains, sorrows, and grief. The loss of these children leaves a void in all our lives as a family. I pray by sharing my loss and grief process, you will seek Jesus for healing for yourself and family. That you will be empowered to live your best life after the loss of a child or sibling. I pray you will live to the fullest capacity God has intended, Jesus died to give you, with the Holy Spirit guiding you—a life of purpose not only for yourself and family, but for the child that is gone but not forgotten.

Book Synopsis The Musical World of Marie-Antoinette by : Barrington James
Download or read book The Musical World of Marie-Antoinette written by Barrington James and published by McFarland. This book was released on 2021-06-30 with total page 267 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For decades, eighteenth-century Paris had been declining into a baroque backwater. Spectacles at the opera, once considered fit for a king, had become "hell for the ears," wrote playwright Carlos Goldoni. Then, in 1774, with the crowning of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, Paris became one of the world's most vibrant musical centers. Austrian composer Christophe-Willibald Gluck, protege of the queen, introduced a new kind of tragic opera--dramatic, human and closer to nature. The expressive pantomime known as ballet d'action, forerunner of the modern ballet, replaced stately court dancing. Along the boulevards, people whistled lighter tunes from the Italian opera, where the queen's favorite composer, Andre Modeste Gretry, ruled supreme. This book recounts Gluck's remaking of the grand operatic tragedy--long symbolic of absolute monarchy--and the vehement quarrels between those who embraced reform and those who preferred familiar baroque tunes or the sweeter melodies of Italy. The turmoil was an important element in the ferment that led to the French Revolution and the beheading of the queen.
