To step into your destiny as a world-changer! Maiden writes: “You were predestined for a reason and purpose by God! Your gifts, anointing, personality, and history will all synergize into a dynamic purpose when you find your mountain!” Tackle your mountain today!

Book excerpt: First published in 1944, The Dutch Nation gives more than the mere history of the Dutch nation. The author studies not only the origin of national consciousness among his compatriots, but also the development of the national character of the Dutch, the birth of parties in their State, and the rise of the House of Orange from the leadership of one party to the unchallenged position of a symbol of national unity. The class realities underlying artificial differences are vividly described, and the merchant oligarchs of the days of John De Witt become creatures of flesh and blood in this book which is based upon a wealth of hitherto unpublished material. This book will be of interest to students of history, political science and sociology.

Download or read book Heart of Myth: Wisdom Stories From Endangered People written by Dave Alber and published by Dave Alber. This book was released on 2016-06-17 with total page 288 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Heart of Myth: Wisdom Stories From Endangered People by Dave Alber is a global anthology of myths from the living polytheistic traditions of six continents. The Heart of Myth unpacks the spirituality of the myths of each region in a local context, then traces connections and archetypes between regions so that world myth may be understood as both a communicative vocabulary and a grand cultural continuity. Dave Alber’s The Heart of Myth: • reveals the universal language of mythology, • explains the spiritual function of myth as expressed in collective archetypes, • tells about the ecological and sustainable vision of indigenous people, • describes the lives of living polytheistic communities, most of them endangered people from six geographic regions (North America, Central and South America, Arctic, Asia, Africa, and Oceana), • tells stories of myth, legend, and folklore from around the globe (American Mythology, Central American Mythology, South American Mythology, Arctic Mythology, Asian Mythology, African Mythology, and Oceanic Mythology) In the tradition of Joseph Campbell’s The Power of Myth and Edith Hamilton’s Mythology, Dave Alber’s The Heart of Myth: Wisdom Stories From Endangered People tells stories from the mythic world. David tells stories of Native American Mythology, Central American Mythology, South American Mythology, Arctic Mythology, Asian Mythology, African Mythology, and Oceanic Mythology. From Native America Dave Alber’s The Heart of Myth relates the myths of the Crow, Onodowaga, Zuni, Cree, and Chemehuevis. From the Arctic it covers the myths of the Chuckchi, Igloolik Inuit Eskimo myths, Inuit, and Buriyat. From Central and South America, David Alber tells myths from the Circum-Caribbean People of the Orinoco River Valley, Bororo, Yekuana, Aymara, Mapuche. From Africa Dave tells myths of San, Ogoni, Dinka, Masai, and Karanga. From Asia The Heart of Myth tells the myths of the Tharu, Kashmiri, Akha, Ainu, Karen, and Agta. Book excerpt: 1865 ABRAHAM LINCOLN ASSASSINATED WOMENS FEMINIST MEMBER MARY SURRAT HANGED FOR PARTICIPATIONLEADER OF GROUP FOUND HIDING IN VATICAN PAPAL GUARD Before his death Abraham Lincoln made the following statements to his trusted staff: It is not against the Americans of the South alone that I am fighting, it is even more against THE POPE OF ROME and his perfidious Jesuits and their blind and blood thirsty slaves that we have to defend ourselves The Jesuits, have not yet killed me. But they would have surely done it when I passed through their most devoted city, Baltimore, had I not defeated their plans by passing incognito a few hours before they expected me. We have the proof that the company which has been selected and organized to murder me was led by a rabid Roman Catholic, called Byrne; it was almost entirely composed of Roman Catholics; more than that, there were two disguised priests among them, to lead and encourage them. ..Abraham Lincoln And indeed the American Womens Feminist Movement were now linked and involved with the assassination of a sitting President of the United States and with a member of the American Womens Feminist Movement confirmed as guilty and hanged for the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. And then, so began the atrocities of the deaths of any elected president that was not a Socialist Democratic and those atrocities and Presidential genocide lasted from 1841 until the final assassination of President Warren Harding in 1923.
Download or read book The Prophets written by Lonnie Martin and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2017-06-19 with total page 640 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the Prophets part of "The Word of Elohim". It's the real name for the 'Old Testament'. The Bible is really 2 "volumes" The Word of Elohim (God) and the Testimony of Yeshua. This would print out in typical book format into 4 good sized volumes. The Word of Elohim is either the 'Old Testament'-text or spoken, or the person of Yeshua (Jesus) period! So to be precise, this is the Prophets portion of the Gabriel Bible version of The Word of Elohim. So every Bible contains The Word of Elohim-the translators just don't seem to know it! The Bible is the Word of Elohim AND the Testimony of Yeshua COMBINED. (See Revelation 1:2&9) Of the verses in this version you would be hard pressed to find any verse, other than perhaps the most basic, exactly like that of any other version. My 'New Testament' is also finished. Yeshua and His followers never said anything about an 'Old Testament'. He always referred to it as either 'The Word of Elohim' (Aloha in His native Aramaic), or 'the Scriptures'.

Book Synopsis Death Comes to the Maiden by : Camille Naish
Download or read book Death Comes to the Maiden written by Camille Naish and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2013-05-07 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1791, the French femme de lettres Olympe de Gouges wrote that 'as women have the right to take their places on the scaffold, they must also have the right to take their seats in government'. This book explores the issues of female emancipation through the history of female execution, from the burning of Joan of Arc in 1431 to the events of the French revolution. Concentrating on individual victims, the author addresses the sexual attitudes and prejudices encountered by women condemned to death. She examines the horrific treatment of those denounced as witches and reveals the gruesome reality of death by hanging, burning or the guillotine. In an attempt to uncover the historical truth behind such figures as Joan of Arc, Anne Boleyn, Manon Roland and Charlotte Corday, she goes beyond biography to consider their deaths in symbolic terms. She also considers writers such as Genet, Yourcenar and Brecht and their treatment of the tragic, sacrificial and erotic aspects of female execution.
Book Synopsis The Mad Professor of Babeldu by : Adamu Kyuka Usman Lilymjok
Download or read book The Mad Professor of Babeldu written by Adamu Kyuka Usman Lilymjok and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2013-08-30 with total page 607 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Mad Professor of Babeldu is a work of fiction with an eccentric professor as its major character. Sitting alone in his farmhouse, Professor Philjez, in a profound and sometimes comic manner, talks on a variety of issues from politics to religion, economics, culture, science, and a myriad of other issues. This book no doubt will resonate with many readers because of its unusual character and profound ideas. Bizarre, comical, shocking, profound, and perhaps blasphemous are all adjectives aptly descriptive of The Mad Professor of Babeldu. Driven by Professor Philjez, its eccentric major character, this book despairs and inspires, saddens and excites, frightens and soothes, sobers and intoxicates a reader. It is a mixed grille. It is a jolly, hearty party of ideas that cannot fail to go away with gold medals in any Olympic contest of ideas.
