Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "It is very important that we come to a clear understanding of what kundalini is and what it is not. This becomes especially important in the light of the greatly increased interest in the West in the practice of various kinds of yogas. Much harm can come in the attempts to 'arouse kundalini' if there is not the corresponding practice of progressive freedom from egocentrism. Mary Scott has done an admirable job in clarifying the subject by delving into the context in which the notions of kundalini and chakras were developed. In addition to the sympathetic reading of Aurobindo and Woodroffe, who seems to have been one of the few Westerners who tried to understand the Tantras in their Indian expositions as expounded by the Tantrik masters themselves rather than impose extraneous theories of one's own, the author brings a great deal of common sense and her own personal experience of being a searcher as well as a psychotherapist. If taken seriously, this book should provide a great challenge to the general methodology of contemporary sciences. Highly recommended for scholars and lay persons alike." --Prof. Ravi Ravindra

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Kundalini yoga presented Jung with a model of something that was almost completely lacking in Western psychology--an account of the development phases of higher consciousness.... Jung's insistence on the psychogenic and symbolic significance of such states is even more timely now than then. As R. D. Laing stated... 'It was Jung who broke the ground here, but few followed him.'"--From the introduction by Sonu Shamdasani Jung's seminar on Kundalini yoga, presented to the Psychological Club in Zurich in 1932, has been widely regarded as a milestone in the psychological understanding of Eastern thought and of the symbolic transformations of inner experience. Kundalini yoga presented Jung with a model for the developmental phases of higher consciousness, and he interpreted its symbols in terms of the process of individuation. With sensitivity toward a new generation's interest in alternative religions and psychological exploration, Sonu Shamdasani has brought together the lectures and discussions from this seminar. In this volume, he re-creates for today's reader the fascination with which many intellectuals of prewar Europe regarded Eastern spirituality as they discovered more and more of its resources, from yoga to tantric texts. Reconstructing this seminar through new documentation, Shamdasani explains, in his introduction, why Jung thought that the comprehension of Eastern thought was essential if Western psychology was to develop. He goes on to orient today's audience toward an appreciation of some of the questions that stirred the minds of Jung and his seminar group: What is the relation between Eastern schools of liberation and Western psychotherapy? What connection is there between esoteric religious traditions and spontaneous individual experience? What light do the symbols of Kundalini yoga shed on conditions diagnosed as psychotic? Not only were these questions important to analysts in the 1930s but, as Shamdasani stresses, they continue to have psychological relevance for readers on the threshold of the twenty-first century. This volume also offers newly translated material from Jung's German language seminars, a seminar by the indologist Wilhelm Hauer presented in conjunction with that of Jung, illustrations of the cakras, and Sir John Woodroffe's classic translation of the tantric text, the Sat-cakra Nirupana. ?

Book excerpt: Are you seeking a unique Kundalini Guide on how to awaken it? Then continue reading... Kundalini is a Sanskrit term that means "coiled up." This term refers to the idea that energy is coiled up at the base of the spine of every individual on the planet. It is often shown as a snake or serpent lying inside the pelvic bowl. The snake force rises through the body and all the chakras until it reaches the summit of the head when this energy is awakened. This coil of energy or snake represents the Life-Force, the prana, the divine force that, when awakened, will result in an unraveling process that will enable awareness to change and become exalted into pure, holy, creation-energetic consciousness. This book discusses Recognizing the Kundalini What exactly is Kundalini? Taking One Breath at a Time The Third Eye Science How to Awaken a Slumbering Kundalini The seven major chakras. How to Effectively Meditate The Poses of Kundalini Awakening Healing of the Chakras ...And Much More.... The physical exercise linked with this energy is Kundalini Yoga. Together with other meditations, powers, work, and lifestyle choices, the practitioner can align with this divine energy. There are several yoga practices, each with its philosophy, mantra, spiritual expression, or objective. Many individuals work with Kundalini Yogis or Gurus to have a safe, therapeutic experience, but it may also happen without a teacher. This chapter will go further into each of these subjects. The precise origins of Kundalini and the yoga practice designed to encourage awakening are unclear. The principles of Kundalini are based on ancient books known as Vedas, which date back to at least 1000 BCE. The Vedic, Tantric, and Shakti ideologies and Pranayama are all tied to the notion of Kundalini in Hinduism. The Upanishads, which are part of the Vedic scriptures, elaborate on the idea and concept of Kundalini. However, the concept of Kundalini-yoga was not recognized in these works until later, around the 16th century. Several Indic and Hindu religious backgrounds interact to produce the practice of Kundalini awakening. Tantra means "loom, weaving, system," while Shaktism is the notion of heavenly, female force. Pranayama means "expansion of the Life-force." In collaboration with other ancient philosophies and scriptures, all of these schools of thought contribute to the creation of Kundalini and the philosophy of awakening this divine awareness. As the Kundalini energy rises, this complex energy system, also known as chakras, becomes balanced, opened, and "lit up," so to speak. Crystals, like blood diamonds, have their victims. Please don't allow anyone or our mother to suffer as a result of this. When performing a healing session on yourself or others, place these stones right on the chakra points. Kundalini yoga is a fusion of numerous yoga techniques that concentrate on breathing, postures, and meditation to engage the primordial life force within. It helps not only to awaken the latent serpent energy but also to maintain the equilibrium of these energy systems. Do you genuinely want to learn more? Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Kundalini's power lies dormant in humans until it is awakened. The awakened Kundalini expresses the primal divine impulse and ultimately joins the individual with the divine. The development of the book parallels the development of the Kundalini within. Part One exposes the awakening and unfolding of the Kundalini; Part Two describes the piercing of the energy centers and the stages of ascent through the body; and Part Three examines Kundalini's relation to sexual expression. The book provides a deep understanding of Tantra and of the underlying purpose of Tantracism. The author carefully considers the Caryakrama practices of sexual expression as a means of awakening and controlling Kundalini. Silburn draws together passages from the Trika, Krama, and Kaula systems ranging through Abhinavagupta and Lalla and provides both translation and commentary for them. Chapters on the Chakras, the Nadis, and on mantras further elucidate the topic and lead to a forceful conclusion: Kundalini is the source of ultimate human knowledge and power.

Book excerpt: In Hindu tradition, the concept of kundalini refers to a form of primal energy located at the base of the spine. Through traditional Eastern methods, efforts were made to 'awaken' the kundalini in order to achieve transformed consciousness. Rudolf Steiner offers an entirely new perspective, integrating the kundalini idea into his spiritual philosophy. This anthology contains all relevant comments and notes by Steiner on the theme, highlighting how his thinking evolved. At the same time, it accentuates the differences – and similarities – between Western and Eastern spiritual paths, and in the process reveals what is new and original about Steiner's esoteric teachings. In contrast to most yoga traditions – which cultivate the energy rising from the lower life centre – the Western path of esoteric schooling starts in our upper centre of consciousness, in thinking and the 'I'. From there, the centre of experience is shifted downward, from the head to the heart. After development of the 'new heart centre', as Rudolf Steiner describes it, forces can be guided consciously and, through specific exercises, the 'kundalini snake' can be fully awoken. In his detailed introduction, editor Andreas Meyer distils the perspectives and instructions from Steiner's complete works, presenting a valuable synopsis for our understanding and practice of meditation today.Chapters include: 'The Meaning of Meditation, and the Six Exercises'; 'Developing and Cleansing the Lotus Flowers'; 'The Snake Symbol'; 'The Kundalini Fire'; 'The Kundalini Light'; 'Developing the New Heart Organ'; 'The Reversal in Thinking and Will'; 'Specific Aspects of Kundalini Schooling'; 'Transforming Physical Love and the Division of the Sexes'; 'Breathing, the Light-Soul Process, and the New Yoga Will'; 'The Polarity of Light and Love' and 'Transforming the Kundalini Fire into Fraternity'.

Book excerpt: The eruption of kundalini energy from its secret nest at the base of the spine has been revered by some as bringing ecstasy and enlightenment, and disparaged by others as simply disabling, terrifying and dangerous. Mystics may call it a method of transformation. Skeptics consider it imaginary. All who have experienced it know it as a mystery and a profound life-altering experience. This book, based on 25 years of interviews with over 2000 people who have had this awakening, describes seven categories of phenomena that may occur, tells the eastern perspective of kundalini science, offers guidance on coping with the erratic energies and shifts of consciousness that happen, and reveals the inward path to self-realization that follows the deconstruction initiated by a kundalini arising. If you think you might be in this awakening process, you engage in spiritual or energy practices, or you have activated energies following a near-death experience or trauma, this book is your companion and guide.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is the first book of Kundalini science series. The second, third, and fourth books of this series named as “Kundalini science- A spiritual psychology-2, 3, 4” respectively are also available now on same platforms. This book is the compiled form of blog-posts till date. Those posts are written by Premyogi vajra, a mystic yogi. He is enlightened as well as he has his kundalini awakened. These all posts are related to kundalini. One post corresponds to one chapter. Premyogi vajra is writing about Kundalini since 3 years ago, when his kundalini awakened after one year long continued kundalini yoga meditation. He became amazed on seeing that nowhere Kundalini had been mentioned or described completely. Even Kundalini had not been defined properly. He searched and read many kundalini awakening experiences, but he found none as genuine and complete. Although he found Samadhi as mentioned in Patanjali Yoga Sutras as equivalent to Kundalini, but that was described in a mystic and ancient way that was difficult to be understood by the laymen type general public. Therefore inspired by these shortcomings, he decided to present every know-how about kundalini in very simple or childish way keeping everything at ground level, true, experiential, scientific, original, practical and intuitive. That genuine, honest and humane effort resulted into the origination of this wonderful book. That is why this book appears as a blessing for kundalini seekers. Because it is not comfortable to read so many blog posts together on glare producing screens, therefore those posts were presented in the form of a kindle e-book that is comfortable and enjoying to read. As a result, it is fully hoped that readers will find this book spiritually uplifting and comfortable to read. The description of Tantra and Kundalini is clear, simple, true, natural, practical and scientific as described by Premayogi Vajra. Such description is not visible anywhere else. Premayogi Vajra was born in the year 1975 in a small village in the beautiful basket valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. He is naturally fond of writing, philosophy, spirituality, yoga, public service, applied science and tourism. He has also done commendable work in the field of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine. He is also fond of polyhouse farming, organic farming, scientific and water conserving irrigation, rainwater harvesting, kitchen gardening, cow farming, vermicomposting, website development, self-publishing, music (especially flute playing) and singing. He has also written close to ten books on almost all these subjects, whose descriptions are available on Amazone Author Central, Author Page, Premyogi vajra. The description of these books is also available on his personal website demystifyingkundalini.com. He had also been a Vedic priest for a short period of time, when he performed religious rituals in people's homes with the help of his Vedic priestly grandfather. He has gained some advanced spiritual experiences (enlightenment and Kundalini awakening). His autobiography, along with his unique experiences, is particularly shared in the book "Physiology Philosophy - A Modern Kundalini Tantra (A Yogi's Love Story)" written in Hindi. The matching equivalent of this book in English is “Love story of a Yogi- what Patanjali says”. This book is the most prominent and ambitious book of his life. This book contains the most important 25 years of his life’s philosophy. He has worked very hard for this book. In a quality and unbiased review on Amazon.com, this book has been reviewed as a five-star, best, must-read and excellent book. Google Play Book Review also found five stars for this book, and this book was rated as good (cool). Premyogi vajra is a mysterious person. He is like a polymorphic man, who has no fixed form of his own. His actual form depends on the size and type of the trance/Samadhi that he is continuously experiencing in his mind, no matter what he looks like from outside. He is enlightened (self realized), and his Kundalini has also awakened. He had self realization or enlightenment naturally / through love yoga, and Kundalini awakening through artificial means / Kundalini yoga.
