Book excerpt: If Mr. Rabbit had to change one thing in his life-well, he wouldn't. His best friend Benny the Bunny could not agree more. The two wawas enjoy a vibrant life together on the Upper West Side of New York City. Their cozy days are filled with flowers, friends, and fresh strawberries smothered in whipped cream. That all changes when Benny's past comes knocking on the door of Apartment 1K in the form of Custerd the Cat. He's orange. He's outrageous. He's Boca Raton's leading feline bon vivant. And he is a cat with a plan. The wawas soon find themselves on a journey to find a lost friend that takes them across the Australian outback to a grand fortress, mysterious and dark. Will the wawas confront their greatest fears in order to find their friend? Or, like so many other wawas before them, will they end up lost without any hope of being found? Hop-About features beautifully crafted characters that overflow with humor and pathos as they confront the realities of our world today. Climate change, wildfire, callous indifference, trauma, and profound loss haunt the wawas' journey. But kindness, courage, friendship, and love are the ingredients in a powerful antidote that is needed now more than ever.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: You are not limited to your own human abilities. This book will answer all of your questions about the anointing. It will prepare you to experience the precious touch of God on everything you do. How can some ministers whose personal and spiritual lives are dried up and in shambles still operate in the anointing and continue to minister with power? Pastor Benny Hinn asked this question during a season of personal trial, and his quest led him to an in-depth understanding of the three “rivers,” or types, of anointing in Scripture: 1 John 2:27 (the anointing within you); Acts 1:8 (the anointing upon you); and Isaiah 10 (a global anointing related to building up and destroying nations). In Mysteries of the Anointing, Hinn explores these three types of anointing, sharing personal stories of things he learned firsthand from Kathryn Kuhlman and Oral Roberts, as well as providing biblical and historical examples that illustrate his teachings. Readers will discover: How to detect if the anointing within you is weakening or gone The blessings—and dangers—that can happen when God begins to use you When you’re most vulnerable to demonic attack and what to do about it What hinders the anointing in your life and ministry and what increases it The impact of the anointing around the world and how the church will experience it in greater measure

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Journey for Justice contradicts the beliefs that black history is lost, nonexistent, and unimportant. The information in the book expands the knowledge on African American history, as well as reveals facts that have never been published. The research findings contribute to historical accuracy. I wish to reveal the contributions that enslaved families and their descendants have made to this country and are continuing to contribute to this country in their pursuit for equality and justice. My goals are to educate the public and preserve the African American history and heritage.A wealth of information has been preserved in prominent planter families' collections and has been used to write extensive details about their lives. There is a lack of information or limited information on the enslaved African Americans on these plantations. What happened to these individuals after slavery-during Reconstruction and after? My African American roots go back to Surry County, Virginia. My ancestors were enslaved on the Mount Pleasant/Swann's Point and Four-Mile Tree (located four miles from Jamestown) Plantations. These plantations were settled by the English in 1630s. After exhausting the land in Surry, the planters moved upriver for fertile farming land in the late 1700s and early 1800s. I am providing information on the lives of these enslaved African Americans during slavery, the ex-slaves during Reconstruction, and their descendants after Reconstruction. After many years of researching the reliability of the oral histories and comparing this information with archival documents, I am presenting findings that are valid and worthy of publishing. The year 2019 marked the four-hundredth anniversary of people of African descent arriving in English North America. Now is an appropriate time to acknowledge their contributions to this country.
