Download or read book Radical Feminists written by Paul D. Buchanan and published by Bloomsbury Publishing USA. This book was released on 2011-07-25 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This timely new book explores the formation of the Radical Feminist Movement of the 1960s and 1970s, its prominent leaders and organizations, and the issues it sought to address. Radical Feminists: A Guide to an American Subculture provides a current, comprehensive introduction to the Radical Feminists of the 1960s and 1970s, familiarizing readers with the individuals, organizations, actions, and philosophies that comprised this now-historic movement. Of course, the feminists of the 1960s and 1970s stood on the shoulders of the crusaders who came before. Thus, the book looks at important historical events that paved the way for Radical Feminism, also examining the influence of the Women's Suffrage, Civil Rights, and New Left Movements. Specific social and political issues that concerned the Radical Feminists are explored, including sexuality, sex roles, contraception, and abortion; equal opportunity; feminism in the media; and women in leadership. Finally, the work scrutinizes the fate of the Radical Feminists and their legacy, discussing how their work affected the women's movement overall and how it affects the women—and men—of today.

Book Synopsis Firebrand Feminism by : Breanne Fahs
Download or read book Firebrand Feminism written by Breanne Fahs and published by University of Washington Press. This book was released on 2018-04-24 with total page 287 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Unapologetic, troublemaking, agitating, revolutionary, and hot-headed: radical feminism bravely transformed the history of politics, love, sexuality, and science. In Firebrand Feminism, Breanne Fahs brings together ten years of dialogue with four founders of the radical feminist movement: Ti-Grace Atkinson, Kathie Sarachild, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, and Dana Densmore. Taking aim at the selfishness of the right and the incremental politics of the liberal left, they defiantly and fiercely created a new kind of feminism in the late 1960s. Firebrand Feminism provides a timely and historically rich account of these audacious women and the lasting impact of their words and work. This unique and provocative book unites second- and third-wave feminism and creates a much-needed intergenerational dialogue about the utility of feminist rage, the importance of refusal, the changing politics of sex and love, trans rights, and tactics to start (and continue) a revolution.

Book excerpt: "In this updated classic, Judith Grant provides a new introduction and postscript that frames her original work as part of a larger argument about the importance of structuralism in radical feminist ideas of patriarchy. Forewords by esteemed feminist theorists reintroduce the new edition to the latest generation of feminist students and scholars. In Fundamental Feminism, Judith Grant explores the evolution of feminist theory in the context of today's feminist thought. In the original work, Grant analzyed three core concepts in feminist theory - "woman," "experience," and "personal politics" - from their origins in pamphlets and writings from the early women's liberation movement to their later constructions in feminist thought. In this second edition, she argues for the pivotal role of early radical feminism and the longstanding influence of these core assumptions on current theories including intersectional theory, queer theory structuralism and poststructuralism, and ongoing discussions about the sexuality debates of the 1980s. Fundamental Feminism is provocative reading for anyone interested in the history and future of feminist theory and the power of feminist politics"--

Covering the movement and its deliberate undermining of Western culture and values from the late 19th century till modern day, BROKEN chronicles the greatest political hoax ever perpetrated against democracy. Stemming from the earliest socialist movements of American labor, the Women movement was seen as the perfect vehicle to infiltrate the hardcore socialist ideals into the greatest enemy totalitarianism has ever encountered, the American republic. BROKEN carries the reader step by devious step through the early Suffrage movement, through the takeover of the womens movement by hardcore socialists in the 1020's and the radical agenda of the Second and Third wave feminists.BROKEN lays out the anti-Western agenda and the deceptive tactics of the Progressive Socialist insurgency that threatens to bring American liberty and the Western way of life to its knees. From the willful destruction of marriage, family and the economic warfare radical feminism has waged for nearly 90 years, BROKEN gives you the vital information you need to resist the movements designs and recognize the danger that the unholy alliance of Feminism, Socialism and Islamism represents to Western society.

Book Synopsis Good Women Behaving Angrily by : Charles Rivers
Download or read book Good Women Behaving Angrily written by Charles Rivers and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-05-10 with total page 164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Just as with the Civil Rights Movement, the Feminist Movement once stood for upward mobility and equality for citizens. Today that mobility movement has morphed into a downward spiral of antagonism and personal attacks. In its efforts to inspire new blood in its ranks, the feminist agenda has turned to Generation-Z with a radicalized recruiting campaign that is as hell-bent on restricting personal liberties of the American male as strongly as the Jihadist of Afghanistan. This effort not only seeks to attack the freedoms of man and child but minority women and the country as a whole. The Racist Radical Feminist enjoys the protections of government officials that benefit from the votes of women who hate men as much as senators such as Strom Thurmond detested blacks. Today we are witnessing unwavering support of the Radical Racist Feminist in as high up a position as, Speaker of the House of Representatives. The Radical Feminist Movement even garnered support from the first female presidential nominee who in her own pro-female, anti-male speeches sounded more racist than George Wallace. Yes, the Radical Feminism movement in Mrs. Clinton had found its voice, and its voice said, "misandry now, misandry tomorrow, misandry forever!" But how did this happen? How does a so-called democratically elected government willfully send five generations of our boy's off to wars to fight for freedoms they intend to deny him? How did this new form of feminism morph into a new form of Apartheid of the sexes? For sure, it didn't happen all at once; it became so insidious in its growth that it changed the matrix of democracy in the world as a whole. It allowed racist feminist to hide in the shadows. It allowed them to change what you and I felt about racism, and the word feminist. The word feminist no longer carried the meaning it once did after achieving most of its financial aims and benefits for the top 1% of its leaders. Today's American Radical Feministic model has stolen away many well-earned rights, and freedoms from men that the British Army could not at the Battle of Yorktown. Freedoms the Imperial Japanese Navy could not bomb away by sinking the USS Pennsylvania at Pearl Harbor. Rights and privileges that not even the full might of Hitler's Third Reich failed to capture in the defeat at Stalingrad. This book is a contemporary Man's Manifesto of sorts of what to guard against as you seek to navigate through a post-modern Radical Feminist dogmatic society.
