Ole remarried in 1880 to Astrid Aubol in the town of Rockland. Ole died in 1894. He and Marit are buried in West Valders Cemetery. Their children are Helleborg, Even, Kari, Ole, Ole, Christen, Marit, Torger and Ragnhild. Ole and Marit's son Even married Marit Snortum. They were the parents of twelve children.
