Book excerpt: It is time to ACTIVATE the mission within A Modern Spiritual tome in two parts. The Story Wisdom Learn the story of an everyday woman channeling an intra dimensional being, Simon. Explore the wisdom of timelessness, healing. and reconnection to self, one another and the Earth. The Expansion Principle is their offering of remembering and of alignment with sovereignty. Simon doesn't have a message, he/we have a mission. This simple difference is part of why the activation of individuals is so important. A mission has more meat to it, it also has a desired result. In this case, Expansion. A message is very specific, and it also requires human words. And this energy, this origin, is not human. Much of our communication occurs through a felt sense, both emotional feelings and physical sensations, as well as through knowing. Simon shares a transmission, and it comes through as an idea or group of thoughts. But the essence of it, is none of those things and all of them at the same time. The beauty in this is that it is so nebulous.

Book Synopsis The Anthropic Principle: A Universe Built for Man by : Anthony Walsh
Download or read book The Anthropic Principle: A Universe Built for Man written by Anthony Walsh and published by Vernon Press. This book was released on 2023-01-10 with total page 179 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Copernican Principle states that humankind is an insignificant assemblage of chemical scum living on an accidental planet in a suburb of a purposeless universe. Many prominent scientists, including Nobel laureate physicists, have questioned this scurrilous principle, which has led physicists to propose the Anthropic Principle. This principle posits a purposeful link between the structure of the universe and the existence of humankind and its specialness. The numerous features of the universe are so freakishly fine-tuned for the existence of intelligent life that physicists are beginning to come to grips with the notion that our universe is profoundly purposeful and that there is a powerful and incredibly intelligent Mind behind it all.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Few people studying Gauge Field Theory need to be convinced of the importance of the work of 't Hooft. This volume contains a selection of articles and review topics covering his well-known studies on the renormalization of non-Abelian gauge theorems, topological phenomena in gauge field theory and thoughts on the role of black holes in quantum gravity. The chapters are tied together by thoughtful commentaries which provide a background and the illumination of hindsight ? together they form a clear and coherent picture of the physical and theoretical importance of gauge theories and the gauge principle. This book is ideal for students and researchers.Gerard 't Hooft is Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. He has taught at Harvard, SLAC and Caltech prior to his present position. Other distinguished honors include being awarded the Dannie Heineman Prize, the Honorary Doctorate of Science from the University of Chicago, Wolf Prize of the State of Israel, Pius XI Medal (Vatican), and the Lorentz Medal (KNAW, Amsterdam).
Book Synopsis The Fishbowl Principle by : Gendelman
Download or read book The Fishbowl Principle written by Gendelman and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2009-12 with total page 430 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At the core, it doesn't matter what you believe governs the fate of man and Earth, what matters is that humans, as a global society, build a future that is sustainable and peaceful. This is the ultimate human evolutionary development, this is our challenge. By tracing our existence from where we began to what we have become today, this book explores the evolution and, should we continue on our current path, the subsequent possible obsolescence of human beings. Far from a doomsday tome, The Fishbowl Principle challenges readers to expand their worldview. We need to change our measure of a successful life from simply existing to prospering. The authors refuse to accept that life as we exist today is "as good as it gets". We argue that humans have reached a fragile tipping point; and that instead of fragmenting and isolating ourselves in a future of despair, we can and will work together to an even higher apex. As a human race, we examine what can be achieved if we look to our similarities instead of our differences. If we could harness communication as a powerful and cost effective tool to bring us together and educate ourselves in a way that fosters sustainable and responsible population growth, the positive transformation to our lives would be immeasurable. Whether you exist today as a peasant in a tribal setting or as an urban dweller we explore fostering a sense of global community based on common ground, not just niche existence. We present tangible alternatives and pose thought-provoking questions. Our vision is a collaborative one, and requires your participation. A path back to evolution starts with you, and includes all of us.

Book Synopsis The Order of Things: The Realism of the Principle of Finality by : Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P.
Download or read book The Order of Things: The Realism of the Principle of Finality written by Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P. and published by Emmaus Academic. This book was released on 2020-10-01 with total page 361 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Order of Things: The Realism of the Principle of Finality is an exploration of the metaphysical principle, “Every agent acts for an end.” In the first part, Fr. Garrigou-Lagrange sets forth the basics of the Aristotelian metaphysics of teleology, defending its place as a central point of metaphysics. After defending its per se nota character, he summarizes a number of main corollaries to the principle, primarily within the perspective established by traditional Thomistic accounts of metaphysics, doing so in a way that is pedagogically sensitive yet speculatively profound. In the second half of The Order of Things, Garrigou-Lagrange gathers together a number of articles which he had written, each having some connection with themes concerning teleology. Thematically, the texts consider the finality and teleology of the human intellect and will, along with the way that the principle of finality sheds light on certain problems associated with the distinction between faith and reason. Finally, the text ends with an important essay on the principle of the mutual interdependence of causes, causae ad invicem sunt causae, sed in diverso genere.
Book Synopsis The Principle of Effective Legal Protection in Administrative Law by : Zoltán Szente
Download or read book The Principle of Effective Legal Protection in Administrative Law written by Zoltán Szente and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2016-08-05 with total page 416 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This collection presents a comparative analysis of the principle of effective legal protection in administrative law in Europe. It examines how European states consider and enforce the related requirements in their domestic administrative law. The book is divided into three parts: the first comprises a theoretical introductory chapter along with perspectives from International and European Law; part two presents 15 individual country reports on the principle of effective legal protection in mostly EU member states. The core function of the reports is to provide an analysis of the domestic instruments and procedures. Adopting a contextual approach, they consider the historical, political and legal circumstances as well as analysing the relevant case law of the domestic courts; the third part provides a comparative analysis of the country reports. The final chapter assesses the influence and relevance of EU law and the ECHR. The book thus identifies the most important trends and makes a valuable contribution to the debate around convergence and divergence in European national administrative systems. Book Synopsis Local Activity Principle: The Cause Of Complexity And Symmetry Breaking by : Klaus Mainzer
Download or read book Local Activity Principle: The Cause Of Complexity And Symmetry Breaking written by Klaus Mainzer and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2013-03-15 with total page 456 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The principle of local activity explains the emergence of complex patterns in a homogeneous medium. At first defined in the theory of nonlinear electronic circuits in a mathematically rigorous way, it can be generalized and proven at least for the class of nonlinear reaction-diffusion systems in physics, chemistry, biology, and brain research. Recently, it was realized by memristors for nanoelectronic device applications. In general, the emergence of complex patterns and structures is explained by symmetry breaking in homogeneous media, which is caused by local activity. This book argues that the principle of local activity is really fundamental in science, and can even be identified in quantum cosmology as symmetry breaking of local gauge symmetries generating the complexity of matter and forces in our universe. Applications are considered in economic, financial, and social systems with the emergence of equilibrium states, symmetry breaking at critical points of phase transitions and risky acting at the edge of chaos./a

Book excerpt: The corresponding-states principle helps the understanding and calculating of thermodynamic, transport, and surface properties of substances in various states, required by our modern lifestyle. The Corresponding-States Principle and its Practice: Thermodynamic, Transport and Surface Properties of Fluids describes the origins and applications of the principle from a universal point of view with comparisons to experimental data where possible. It uses the universal theory to explain present theories. Emphasis is on the properties of pure systems, and the corresponding-states theory can also be extended to mixtures, which are treated as pure systems. Furthermore, the author discusses current progress, and shows technicians how to derive practical equations from molecular modeling. The Corresponding-States Principle and its Practice: Thermodynamic, Transport and Surface Properties of Fluids is the ideal handbook for those in chemical science and engineering related to energy, environment, natural gas, and petroleum.* Describes the origins and applications from a universal viewpoint* Includes experimental data for comparisons * Suitable for researchers, applied engineers, and those interested in the corresponding states theory
