Book excerpt: ?is a journey of perspective. life/love are both what they are based upon theperspective of those so engaged. how we "view" love determines everyrelationship in which we participate. Williams is not afraid to display thevulnerability or the displeasure of his love perspective. yes, he generalizes, thenhe holds the magnifying glass upon himself; he is a veteran of past relationships, yet still on active duty. the distance of observation is 360 degrees and not justrear view. this poet has come to realize that there is still joy, even when your stardoesn't align. because this is real life and we see much better when we are opento its possibilities.

Book Synopsis Understanding Earth Observation by : Domenico Solimini
Download or read book Understanding Earth Observation written by Domenico Solimini and published by Springer. This book was released on 2016-04-19 with total page 728 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume addresses the physical foundation of remote sensing. The basic grounds are presented in close association with the kinds of environmental targets to monitor and with the observing techniques. The book aims at plugging the quite large gap between the thorough and quantitative description of electromagnetic waves interacting with the Earth's environment and the user applications of Earth observation. It is intended for scientifically literate students and professionals who plan to gain a first understanding of remote sensing data and of their information content.
Book Synopsis Analysis of Visibility Observation Methods by : Frederick C. Hochreiter

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report concludes the first phase of the objective visibility observation task. It was primarily a literature search of state-of-the-art in visibility observations and measurements. This portion of the task was designed to provide background information on which to base future phases directed toward automated visibility observations.

Book Synopsis Spatial Econometrics using Microdata by : Jean Dubé
Download or read book Spatial Econometrics using Microdata written by Jean Dubé and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2014-11-10 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides an introduction to spatial analyses concerning disaggregated (or micro) spatial data. Particular emphasis is put on spatial data compilation and the structuring of the connections between the observations. Descriptive analysis methods of spatial data are presented in order to identify and measure the spatial, global and local dependency. The authors then focus on autoregressive spatial models, to control the problem of spatial dependency between the residues of a basic linear statistical model, thereby contravening one of the basic hypotheses of the ordinary least squares approach. This book is a popularized reference for students looking to work with spatialized data, but who do not have the advanced statistical theoretical basics.

Up-to-date results for real stars are included. Written for starting graduate students or advanced undergraduates, this textbook also includes a wealth of reference material useful to researchers. eBook formats include color imagery while print formats are greyscale only; a wide selection of the color images are available online.
Book Synopsis AFM-Based Observation and Robotic Nano-manipulation by : Shuai Yuan
Download or read book AFM-Based Observation and Robotic Nano-manipulation written by Shuai Yuan and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2020-02-15 with total page 189 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book highlights the latest advances in AFM nano-manipulation research in the field of nanotechnology. There are numerous uncertainties in the AFM nano-manipulation environment, such as thermal drift, tip broadening effect, tip positioning errors and manipulation instability. This book proposes a method for estimating tip morphology using a blind modeling algorithm, which is the basis of the analysis of the influence of thermal drift on AFM scanning images, and also explains how the scanning image of AFM is reconstructed with better accuracy. Further, the book describes how the tip positioning errors caused by thermal drift and system nonlinearity can be corrected using the proposed landmark observation method, and also explores the tip path planning method in a complex environment. Lastly, it presents an AFM-based nano-manipulation platform to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method using theoretical research, such as tip positioning and virtual nano-hand.
