The main focus of the history is on the descendants of Pieter, who was born in about 1725. He married Catharina Vosburgh, daughter of Abraham Vosburgh and Geertje Van Den Bergh, in about 1746. They had ten children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Illinois and Indiana.
