Commodities are agreements to buy and sell virtually anything that is harvested except onions. (A 1958 federal law prohibits trading onions.) Although the courses we took contained some important basic information that we needed for moderate beginning success, the courses remained basic and did not teach us enough intermediate material that was necessary for us to have further success. This resulted in us needing to buy yet another course, which consisted of manuals, tapes, videos, workbooks, and CD- ROM's, at hundreds of dollars to get a little more information. In no time at all we had bought a succession of courses just to get the rest of the information we needed to have some success at commodity trading. With this in mind, here is the information that many of the courses left out. Please note that charts contained in this book are exclusively from Gecko Software. We have found Gecko Software to be one of the best charting companies out there with the use of some great tools, indicators and past data readily available. Some charts are from the distant past and some are more current. However, all the charts provide enduring examples and are everlasting.
