This book was released on 2020-04-03 with total page 433 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 2010, a mine explosion killed twenty-nine coal miners in Raleigh County, West Virginia. Obama's Deadliest Cover-Up goes beyond the official narrative of the 2010 Upper Big Branch (UBB) Mine disaster to disclose the dark truth. In this daring exposé, Don Blankenship reveals how far the government will go to keep its dirty secrets, even if it means disparaging deceased miners and sending innocent Americans to prison. Using government documents, witness testimony, and science, Blankenship pieces together the Obama-Biden administration's responsibility for the explosion. Blankenship explains how the government used prevarication, lies, and document destruction to bury the truth. Blankenship calls the American media "Pinocchio" and backs it up. Blankenship demonstrates that America's elite, America's media, and America's DOJ hid the UBB truth and says, "They all have blood on their hands." An unflinching look at corruption in America, Obama's Deadliest Cover-up issues a dire warning: Our government will do anything to "get what it wants."

Freed by the enigmatic town barber, Ulysses Court, Probity sets out to discover the truth. With the number of dead rising, Probity and Court witness the gunning-down of some Mexicans at the San Pedro river and from that moment they are fighting factions from both Tombstone and Rawton. Can they make their way to safety and stay one step ahead of the furious, gun-toting outlaws?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explains the correct logical approach to analysis of forensic scientific evidence. The focus is on general methods of analysis applicable to all forms of evidence. It starts by explaining the general principles and then applies them to issues in DNA and other important forms of scientific evidence as examples. Like the first edition, the book analyses real legal cases and judgments rather than hypothetical examples and shows how the problems perceived in those cases would have been solved by a correct logical approach. The book is written to be understood both by forensic scientists preparing their evidence and by lawyers and judges who have to deal with it. The analysis is tied back both to basic scientific principles and to the principles of the law of evidence. This book will also be essential reading for law students taking evidence or forensic science papers and science students studying the application of their scientific specialisation to forensic questions.

Book excerpt: INTERNATIONAL BEST SELLING AUTHOR OF BRAVO TWO ZERO IN HIS EXPLOSIVE TRUE STORY “A gripping account of special forces at work . . . a tremendous adventure story.”–Daily Telegraph “The best account yet of the SAS in action.”–Sunday Times From the SAS soldier who invented the modern military memoir comes a storming battering ram of thrill-packed, unforgettable drama. Never-before-revealed covert operations and heartbreaking human stories combine to create a new classic and a book that takes us back to where it all began... SEVEN TROOP is Andy McNab’s gripping account of the time he served in the company of a remarkable band of brothers – from the day, freshly badged, he joined them in the Malayan jungle, to the day, ten years later, when he handed in his sand-coloured beret and started a new life. The things they saw and did during that time would take them all to breaking point – and some beyond – in the years that followed. He who dares doesn’t always win... ___________________________________________________________________ "Paying tribute to the soldiers he served with for 10 years, he tells the poignant story of five brave men of whom, tragically, he is the only one still alive." - News of the World "Brutal, touching, and humorous, this book recounts McNab’s time in the SAS’s Air Troop. It made me realise that he can fight as well as write. Treading in the footsteps of Sassoon, Brooke and Owen he pretty much founded the genre of the modern military memoir." Professor Kevin Dutton, University of Oxford _______________________________________________________ What people are saying about SEVEN TROOP: ????? "From the heart of a true warrior" ????? "Seven Troop is yet another well written account of SAS actions on a much more personal scale, literally "a day in the life" thereof." ????? "What he does differently in this book compared to his two others is describe the costs of being SAS. How he and others react to the deaths of their friends when they are killed on operations, the political decision making of the higher ups that override tactical common sense, being a small cog in a big machine and ultimately not being very valued by SAS headquarters."

Book excerpt: Hot. Fast. Dangerous. Only two things are capable of sating my hunger: racing and women. I’m a devil behind the wheel, and there isn’t another man in New York City who can beat me. Nor any dumb enough to try. But there was a woman who could. My ex-wife, Evie. And she did. Messed me up real good. Thanks to her, I gave up my dream of racing, but I can’t run from fate forever. The evil bastards at her side have taken over the underground racing scene, but I’m diving back in deep. With my focus on the road, the last thing I need is a distraction, but that’s just what Laina is. My best friend’s little sister feels off limits, until she isn’t. Perfect curves and a smile that could melt hearts, this woman has me wanting to say yes from the start. She’s relentless and drives me mad with the desire to be bad one more time—just for her. I might be outracing demons, but I’m not running from anything. Not me. Not ever again.

This book was released on 2013-08-15 with total page 547 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Using the VU University syntactically analyzed, hiearchically structured database of ancient languages, the authors compared the Masoretic text of Kings to the Syriac Peshitta translation. The core question in this comparison is: which deviations between the two texts are related to the requirements of the distinct language systems, which are related to other aspects of the translation process, and which are related to the transmission history of the translated text? Though linguistic and text-historical approaches differ in method and focus, research into ancient biblical translations must take both into account. On the basis of a synoptic matching at clause level, corresponding phrases within the clauses are matched, and corresponding words within phrases. A choice out of a wealth of detailed differences thus brought to light are discussed at the syntactic level at which the phenomenon best fits: word, phrase, clause and above the clause.

Book excerpt: The plane crash was only the opening to the path of destiny that would challenge young Eli’s mind, spirit, and heart. As the boy ́s rural hometown of Raccoon Township, Pennsylvania begins to change in front of his very eyes, Elijah Marshall takes it upon himself to find the source of whatever it is that ́s causing the strange phenomena. In his search for answers, the troubled thirteen year old boy endures much pain and loss while he finds hope and unlikely companionship with an aging college professor. Together, they venture into a world of horror and magic in their quest for the Black Box, and a solution to the evil that plagues Raccoon Township. As the introductory novel of The Triad Series, Black Box opens up a reality based world that is touched by the supernatural. It explores and examines the human heart and spirit, demonstrating that even in the darkest of times hope is always possible. Black Box is a complete novel within itself, although it introduces many mysteries and questions that leave the reader wondering just what else can possibly lie within the remainder of The Triad Series.
