Allen Hynek, founder, Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) Reviews). The Andreasson Affair is more than just a classic example of a close encounter. It is—to use the jargon of ufologists—a case of such “high strangeness” that even the most open-minded investigators were at first inclined to dismiss it out of hand. Yet it has become probably the best documented case of its kind to date, the subject of an intensive 12-month investigation conducted for the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) that involved, among other things, the recording of large quantities of testimony given under hypnosis, extensive lie detector testing of witnesses, detailed analysis of corroborative circumstantial evidence, exhaustive comparison with other such accounts, and much more. The Andreasson Affair includes: The most detailed description of any UFO abduction experience. Betty’s precise drawings of her experience. A supporting foreword to the book by astronomer Dr. J. Allen Hynek. Verification of all events associated with Betty’s experience. This new edition contains a new afterword for a new generation “Something extraordinary happened to Betty Andreasson. Maybe she encountered non-human visitors or maybe something even more strange. Whatever the origin of her experience, her immensely powerful story awed me. Its rich and provocative imagery will remain with me forever.” —Whitley Strieber, author of Communion

Evidence suggests that these outsiders shaped our religions, genes, technology, and cultures. In fact, they may have provided the impetus for modern civilization. Paul Von Ward investigates why modern science and religion refuse to address the possibility that humans interact with Advanced Beings (ABs). He reviews sacred texts, myths and legends--from the Old Testament, Hebrew texts, and the Vedas, to the Greek myths, Sumerian tablets, and other historical sources to make the link between religions, their gods, and alien intervention. He shows how this history of AB intervention has been suppressed and challenges readers to reexamine the origins of notions like “divine revelation” to find common ground among the world’s cultures and religions. Previously published as God, Genes, and Consciousness.

Book excerpt: This book introduces a brand new field of scientific research based upon analysis of artifacts retrieved from crashed and damaged UFOs that have come down in Russia and America. For the first time, it reveals the scientific principles behind UFO propulsion dynamics, and shows that these principles are known and recognized by today’s physicists. Potter’s analyses of these UFO mechanisms are substantiated with references to a broad array of over 300 research papers published in scientific journals! Potter correlates many of the phenomena observed firsthand by close encounter witnesses and abductees and pinpoints the common themes reported, categorizing them according to known physical principles. He produces a comprehensive orchestration of energy dynamics used inside and around UFOs. His precise and lavish illustrations allow the reader to enter directly into the realm of the advanced technological engineer and to understand, quite straightforwardly, the aliens’ methods of energy manipulation: their methods of electrical power generation; how they purposely designed their craft to employ the kinds of energy dynamics that are exclusive to space (discoverable in our astrophysics) in order that their craft may generate both attractive and repulsive gravitational forces; their control over the mass-density matrix surrounding their craft enabling them to alter their physical dimensions and even manufacture their own frame of reference in respect to time.

Book excerpt: Why and how the government monitors those who have been kidnapped by strange, unearthly beings with even stranger agendas, from the author of Final Events. For decades, people have reported close encounters with extraterrestrial entities. Witnesses describe being kidnapped by large-headed, black-eyed creatures from other worlds. Those same creatures have become popularly known as “the Grays.” There is, however, another aspect to the alien abduction controversy. Abductees very often report being followed and spied upon by military and government personnel. It is typical for abductees to see black helicopters hovering directly over their homes in an intimidating manner. Phone calls are monitored. Emails are hacked into. Strange men dressed in black suits are seen photographing the homes of the abductees. All of this brings us to the matter of what have become known in the domain of alien abduction research as “Military Abductions,” or “MILABS.” According to numerous abductees, after being kidnapped by aliens they are kidnapped again . . . by the government. These follow-up events are the work of a powerful group hidden deep within the military and the intelligence community. It is the secret agenda of this highly classified organization to figure out what the so-called Grays are really up to. And, the best way for the government to get the answers is to interrogate those who have come face-to-face with the UFO phenomenon: the abductees. Why is the government secretly compiling files on alien abductees? Is the alien abduction issue so sinister that it has become a matter of national security proportions?

Following the 2013 reissue of TAKEN, a book that has been out of print for several years and fetched excessive amounts amongst collectors and those wishing to get their hands on such a legendary piece of non-fiction, INTO THE FRINGE is where it all began for Dr Karla Turner and her family. As with the reissue of TAKEN, INTO THE FRINGE is an officially authorized republication with the sole input of Karla Turner's widower Elton. Endorsed and approved by Elton Turner with the highest respect for the importance of the story; we excitedly bring INTO THE FRINGE to the 21st century. Into the Fringe documents the account of alien abduction and how Karla Turner, along with her family, uncovered the memories and physical evidence of their encounters with beings from outside of our own planet. "This brave and defiant refusal, in the name of humanity, to countenance suffering from an alien tyrant masquerading as a benefactor, is Karla Turner's final legacy." - John Chambers, UFO Magazine

Book excerpt: Why would two women separated by thousands of miles share a common thread involving alien abduction? Both cases are supported by multiple witnesses and have substantial evidence. Both women experienced missing time while driving with a companion, and were later taken from their homes. Both have been unwilling participants in ongoing experimental procedures that appear to follow family genetic lines. Both witnesses have given detailed descriptions of the crafts' interiors and technology, medical procedures, messages from the visitors, and the types of ETs they have encountered, including their society's hierarchical structure. Even more startling, both have independently described finding themselves on identical huge craft, within the same timeframe. The Alien Abduction Files finally reveals: The little-known details of alien experimental procedures The theoretical science that can explain alien technology The messages conveyed by the ETs to abduction experiencers The vulnerabilities and benefits of living life as an abduction experiencer The evidence that these phenomena are real.

Book excerpt: SHOCKING. CONTROVERSIAL. UNPRECEDENTED. A CASE LIKE UNLIKE ANY OTHER IN THE ANNALS OF UFO INVESTIGATION, DNA RESEARCH, OR ALIEN ABDUCTION. Sydney, Australia. July 23, 1992. Twenty-eight-year-old Peter Khoury was awoken by what appeared to be two females—both striking and unearthly—kneeling on his bed. What transpired between them was a physical assault as bizarre and disorienting as it was unnatural. Then, as quickly as they had arrived, they vanished. Khoury had become one of a legion of alien abductees with inexplicable experiences, but this particular incident stood apart from all the others. This time, there was evidence—two strands of white-blond hair from one of the females. Khoury’s case would result in the very first forensic DNA analysis of “alien abduction” evidence and revealed an extraordinary biological anomaly—one genetically close to human yet almost impossibly far from the human mainstream. A gripping account of one of the great mysteries of our time, Hair of the Alien, brings us closer than ever before to understanding our past, our origings, and our place in the universe.

Book excerpt: Growing evidence derived from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), neuropathological, imaging, genetic, and epidemiological studies link neuroinflammation and immune dysregulation to a subset of individuals with a variety of severe mental disorders (SMDs), including affective and non-affective psychotic disorders. Further, the recent discoveries of neuronal surface antibodies (NSAs) in autoimmune encephalitis (AE) presenting with diverse neuropsychiatric disorders such as psychosis and cognitive decline, among many others, provides further support to the notion that CNS autoimmunity and neuroinflammation can contribute to the neurobiology of psychiatric disturbances. Further, these immune mechanisms may contribute to a subset of patients currently diagnosed as having treatment-resistant SMDs such as schizophrenia and major depressive disorder. Additionally, mounting data indicate that various infections can serve as an immunological trigger of aberrant immune responses, presumably by causing release of excess neural antigen, thereby giving rise to NSAs or aberrant immune cellular responses to give rise to primary or secondary psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and those associated with AE, respectively. Collectively, these findings support the “mild encephalitis” hypothesis of SMD. The significant overlap among AE-associated psychosis, systemic autoimmune disorder-associated psychosis, and psychotic disorders associated with pathological processes involving inflammation and immune dysregulation has also prompted some authors to adopt the term “autoimmune psychosis” (AP). This term reflects that this psychosis subtype is mechanistically linked to complex neuroimmune and inflammatory signalling abnormalities that can be responsive to early immunomodulatory treatment. It also suggests that a subset of AP might represent an incomplete or “forme fruste” subtype of AE presenting with dominant or pure psychiatric symptoms mimicking primary psychiatric illnesses. Because data indicate that delayed diagnosis and treatment may lead to permanent sequelae, early recognition of AP utilizing neurodiagnostic workup (e.g., CSF analysis, neuroimaging, and EEG) and its early treatment with appropriate immunotherapy are paramount to a meaningful recovery. This eBook will provide an overview of the current knowledge and research areas from epidemiology, risk factors and diagnosis to the management of these conditions, in this rapidly emerging field, helping to bridge the gaps in knowledge that currently exist in the disciplines of Psychiatry, Neurology, and Neuroimmunology.

Book excerpt: Although often dismissed as the stuff of tabloids, there are those who maintain that alien abduction is a real danger that many on Earth have already faced. In this volume, two dedicated UFO researchers partner up to present the mysterious alien encounters experienced by their families and others like them, pointing to gaps in government reporting and highlighting as yet unexplained phenomena related to their experiences. The authors encourage readers to keep an open mind as they seek to dispel the skepticism and stigma surrounding the reporting of such incidences while encouraging others to share their stories.

Book excerpt: Seeking the truth about UFOs in America, Mark Pilkington and John Lundberg uncover a 60 year-old story stranger than any conspiracy thriller. Through the fascinating account of their quest Mark Pilkington reveals the long history of UFOria and its parallels in little known tales from the murky worlds of espionage, psychological warfare and advanced military technology. Along the way he discovers that the truth about flying saucers is stranger and more complex than either the ufologists or debunkers would have us believe. As he crossed the US meeting intelligence agents, disinformation specialists and UFO hunters Pilkington was confronted with a dizzying array of ever more outrageous claims and counter claims. As a result he began to suspect that, instead of covering up stories of crashed flying saucers, alien contacts and secret underground bases, the US intelligence agencies had actually been promoting them all along. Meanwhile he has to deal with his own uncertainties, the suspicions of the UFO community and a partner who is starting to believe that conspiracy theorists might be right after all. With a fresh, funny and objective approach, Pilkington is the ideal guide to steer us through these strange territories, where nothing is quite as it seems and reality is just a matter of managing perceptions.
