Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Your identity can be summed up in the management of three critical relationships: your relationship with God, your relationship with you, and your relationship with others. Through these relationships we learn, develop, and cement our habits and personalities. Between You, God, and Me explores each of these relationships from a spiritual perspective, using practical knowledge to expose the traps often used to destroy unity of mind, body, and spirit. Each lesson will take you on a journey in discovering the depth and beauty of Gods love, the necessity of self-love, and your role in expressing Gods love toward your family, friends, and colleagues. This is not your typical devotional! Each lesson will arouse your emotions, challenge your beliefs, and force you to acknowledge thought patterns and behaviors that prevent you from living a life of purpose. Using biblical and scientific evidence, you will discover Gods plan and purpose for your life; recognize attitudes that prevent you from succeeding in your goals, and identify tools to help you create a joyful, stress-free, existence. For a few minutes each day, Eve will accompany you as you uncover Gods love while preparing you to live a life of liberty, harmony, and peace. Between You, God, and Me is a powerful devotional tool intended to help you celebrate your intimate relationships and foster positive change within your life.

They are such good people, but no longer believe that God exists. So many stories of Gods power must have an effect, crowds of witnesses ... A collection of stories about healing of individuals from life threatening illnesses. Each one is medically documented so that there is no doubt about the source of the healing. The stories here are documented as being miraculous. We invite you to get a glimpse of Our Love at work in impossible ways in the lives of people across time. We are the healer. Book Synopsis Agnes Sanford and Her Companions by : William L. De Arteaga
Download or read book Agnes Sanford and Her Companions written by William L. De Arteaga and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2015-08-17 with total page 337 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Agnes Sanford was arguably the most original and spiritually fruitful theologians of the twentieth century. Among her achievements were the discovery and development of the inner healing ministry, the development of a theology of the light of God (missing in Western theology), and the first ever theology of "nature prayers"--as in stilling storms. She and her husband developed a school to teach ministers and lay leaders healing and deliverance prayer, and the gifts of the Spirit a decade before the charismatic renewal made such things acceptable in mainline churches. In spite of these achievements, she is largely ignored and unrecognized today. This work examines her career and shows why her theology, though deeply biblical, was unacceptable to "orthodox" critics. Sanford was part of a group who worked from the 1900s through the 1960s to make healing and deliverance prayer as normal in church. They had to confront the erroneous established theology of cessationism, which affirmed that the healing ministry of the church was past.

Download or read book God's Ear written by Rhoda Lerman and published by Abrams. This book was released on 2017-04-04 with total page 402 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Hilarious . . . Lerman proves herself mistress not only of side-splitting one-liners but also of pregnant perceptions about faith and virtue” (Publishers Weekly). From a novelist whose characters have ranged from ancient deities to suburban housewives to Eleanor Roosevelt, God’s Ear is the story of a rabbi who opens his heart to God, only to have every shnorrer in his congregation fill it with pain. Yussel Fetner’s ancestors had been such rabbis. Yussel, the last of the Fetner line, is not. Yussel turns his back on a thousand years of Fetner destiny, eschewing his family’s twinned piety and poverty to sell life insurance in New York. But the history of a thousand years is not to be thrown away so lightly. On his death, Yussel’s father discovers he will be unable to enter heaven until Yussel repents and enters the faith. The old rabbi will have to dip into a kit bag full of family lore, Hasidic tales, Kabbalistic wisdom, outright lies, and Jewish justifications to tease, trick, and torment his son until he accepts the pain of loving God. “A unique voice—wildly funny, achingly spiritual, profoundly Jewish.” —The New York Times Book Review

Download or read book The Expert Within written by Emma Pierce and published by Austin Macauley Publishers. This book was released on 2022-10-31 with total page 181 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The human mind and how it works, what it thinks and perhaps more importantly, why it thinks what it thinks, is a subject that has fascinated humans from time immemorial. The first scholar to tackle this subject was Aristotle, but he was certainly not the first to wonder and ponder the mysteries of human perception, comprehension and interpretation. Since then psychologists, psychiatrists, philosophers and even novelists, poets and artists have tried in their own inimitable way to penetrate and reveal that most fascinating of all mysteries – the workings of the human mind. This book is the story of a human mind ... not the human mind ... as all authentic stories of the ‘human mind’ must be. This book tells the story of the author’s mind; the only mind of which she can truthfully speak in spite of the fact that she has qualifications in Psychology, Philosophy (Theology) and Journalism. For all that, the qualification upon which she relies most is that of human experience – life and living. In adolescence her mind declined into insanity, lingered there for some years, then painfully and insightfully regained its place in the world of sanity ... only to go on and penetrate the world of formal, academic, or professional (whatever you wish to call it) education/understanding. This book was not written for the edification of those called mental health professionals. It was written to share wisdom and understanding with the ordinary, everyday lay minds of those who care too much to embrace or be embraced by the word ‘professional’.
