La connaissance précise des paramètres dynamiques de rupture est essentielle pour la conception sécuritaire des composants. La configuration de flexion trois points des barres d'Hopkinson a été adoptée pour mesurer la ténacité dynamique. Une étude de ce dispositif est présentée à partir d'un dialogue expérimental/analytique/numérique. Plusieurs aspects importants sont abordés. Notamment, l'évolution de la force transmise des barres à l'éprouvette et son impact sur le Facteur d'Intensité de Contraintes (FIC) au cours de l'essai. Une nouvelle approche a été proposée concernant le transfert des données expérimentales au modèle Eléments Finis afin de calculer le FIC critique. Cette méthode est basée sur une approche de type vitesse. La méthode proposée a été validée sur un composite tissé carbone-époxy dont le comportement est isotrope transverse. Une formulation simplifiée a été proposée pour traiter ce type de matériau. Dans l'objectif de rechercher un indicateur de dommage par fatigue, plusieurs essais ont été réalisées sur l'acier AISI 304 soudés. Les mesures ont été effectuées sur des éprouvettes ayant subies différents taux de dommage par fatigue. Les résultats sont assez intéressant et confirme la possibilité de considérer la ténacité dynamique comme un indicateur de dommage, sous un certain nombre de conditions.
