Through all my trials and tribulations in life and relationships, it has been my relief when ever I felt there was no other resort. I've dreamt of publishing for years now, being that I write what I feel if you pick up this book and can relate to at least one poem then I'm human, normal, just like you. So with that said, allow me to embrace you through word. Move you emotionally and caress your soul. Get to know the side few people know, the lover, the mother, the fighter, survivor, the poet. Book excerpt: Tears on My Pillow is a book that explores the journey of MonaLisa's life through five relationships that end with deep emotional tears. She describes the healing process after the emotional drama and devastation caused by these men. She discovers an astonishing relationship with God, learning that before a single woman can find an honest relationship with a man, she must first love God and herself. She shares her journey of pain and joy as a single woman, and through a marriage that was controlled by her in-law. She finally finds healing in her past. She endured the Gomer and Hosea relationship; through these five men, she was taught how to love again. She draws from the experiences of others, and searches the Scriptures and God for the answers. She prays that this book brings healing to other women through an uncompromising relationship with God. MonaLisa's relationship with one man was the heart of her life, and she pray to God to restore him back to her. But sex is not the foundation to a committed relationship-only God. Tears may fall but they serve to make us stronger and deepen our journey. The foundation of a true loving, God-honoring relationship is not sex, but love, honesty, integrity, and obedience to God. MonaLisa is the eldest of seven children born to George and Bessie Morrow. She has one son, Travareous J. Covington. Her desire is to become the woman whom God has created in His image. But the state of "becoming" isn't easy. There are growing pains, setbacks, and heartaches. MonaLisa is an ordained minister at Jerusalem UHC. She received her masters of divinity from Shaw University Divinity School in Raleigh, NC. She has a great passion for her nonprofit organization, JoEsther's House Ministry, established for youth whose parents are incarcerated.

Book Synopsis Tears in My Heart by : James Collins
Download or read book Tears in My Heart written by James Collins and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2007-03 with total page 398 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For a number of years I have collected stories. My criteria for saving a story was always what I thought of as "Tears In My Heart," and I must admit most of those resulted in tears on my cheeks. This is a selection of some of those stories. Ones I would like to share with others. Some stories are true and others are illustrations, but, all have been used by God to touch my heart when I needed Him most. Always to remind me of His "Great Love" and to remind me to thank Him and praise Him for the blessings of the family and friends that He has sent me to encourage me and give me hope and faith in Him and "HOPE" in the future. It is my prayer that perhaps through these stories the Spirit of God will put "Tears in Your Heart" also and remind you of God's great LOVE for you and your "HOPE" for the future.

Download or read book Collage written by Abena Owusu Koranteng and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2011-11-16 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Collage is a collection of poems that cater to those who don't usually care to read poetry, those who think poetry is only a bunch of word coupled together on pages in a book read by uncanny people and makes no sense at all. Poetry has taken its second wind and is no longer a compilation of twisted words that leaves the reader with a mental overload and smoke spewing from their ears. "Collage" is just as the name implies, a genre of poems by American and Ghanaian poets that covers an insurmountable range of topics, from the country life the author growing up as a child in Mississippi to the flavor filled verses and anecdotes of Ghanaian Poets or Poetess'. The Author is sure that this book will not offend with the Poet's pen, but be a world wide treat that is very unique; offering inspiration, revelation, and stimulation to it's diverse readers.

Book Synopsis Poems of Conviction by : Bobbie Greer
Download or read book Poems of Conviction written by Bobbie Greer and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2019-03-30 with total page 210 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In February 2019, I travelled again to Ethiopia with the Hope for Ethiopia team attached to Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast. We met once again with our brothers and sisters in Christ on our one-week visit. To say that our time spent there was blessed would be an understatement. During our time there, we had the opportunity to take part in worship and fellowship with them, but our hearts were again truly stolen by the children there. We took with us on the trip in excess of fifty suitcases filled with gifts for the children, simple and inexpensive gifts—a few T-shirts, underwear, a toy,and some sweets. Our reward was the tears of joy displayed on each little face. Perhaps it was a logistical nightmare in the packing and carriage of the suitcases, but in truth, the smiles on display made all the effort worthwhile. We visited three separate locations—Kuriftu, where we have a school, church, and clinic with over four hundred children attending the Christ Centered School; Bobaguya, where we have a Bible class and kindergarten for around sixty children, allowing their parents to find work; and finally, Ambo, where we have really seen the hand of God moving among his people in a makeshift church the congregation has grown to over three thousand worshippers! Even better was the news that greeted us there. This congregation, despite their poverty, have managed to raise over seventy thousand dollars for the provision of foundations for the newly planned church there. Hearts were melted among us by all we experienced. On my return, I resumed work on my poetry, invigorated by all that I experienced there. The format of Poems of Conviction: Volume 5 remains the same, and once again, all proceeds from the sales of these books will go directly to brightening up the lives of the children of Ethiopia. If you have purchased a copy, I offer my heartfelt thanks on their behalf. God Bless.
