Through all my trials and tribulations in life and relationships, it has been my relief when ever I felt there was no other resort. So with that said, allow me to embrace you through word. Move you emotionally and caress your soul. Get to know the side few people know, the lover, the mother, the fighter, survivor, the poet. Book Synopsis Tears on My Pillow by : Monalisa Covington
Download or read book Tears on My Pillow written by Monalisa Covington and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2009-02 with total page 114 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Tears on My Pillow is a book that explores the journey of MonaLisa's life through five relationships that end with deep emotional tears. She describes the healing process after the emotional drama and devastation caused by these men. She discovers an astonishing relationship with God, learning that before a single woman can find an honest relationship with a man, she must first love God and herself. She shares her journey of pain and joy as a single woman, and through a marriage that was controlled by her in-law. She finally finds healing in her past. She endured the Gomer and Hosea relationship; through these five men, she was taught how to love again. She draws from the experiences of others, and searches the Scriptures and God for the answers. She prays that this book brings healing to other women through an uncompromising relationship with God. MonaLisa's relationship with one man was the heart of her life, and she pray to God to restore him back to her. But sex is not the foundation to a committed relationship-only God. Tears may fall but they serve to make us stronger and deepen our journey. The foundation of a true loving, God-honoring relationship is not sex, but love, honesty, integrity, and obedience to God. MonaLisa is the eldest of seven children born to George and Bessie Morrow. She has one son, Travareous J. Covington. Her desire is to become the woman whom God has created in His image. But the state of "becoming" isn't easy. There are growing pains, setbacks, and heartaches. MonaLisa is an ordained minister at Jerusalem UHC. She received her masters of divinity from Shaw University Divinity School in Raleigh, NC. She has a great passion for her nonprofit organization, JoEsther's House Ministry, established for youth whose parents are incarcerated.

However, Jakari has a big secret that he has managed to keep hidden from Qia for the past 14 years. He has finally made the decision to change, but is it a little too late? In Qia's eyes she has the most loving, attentive, romantic, and faithful husband in the world. But, will the picture of her fairytale life shatter when she finds out what Jakari has really been up to? Will the love for her husband be enough to make her stay? Or, will his betrayal be enough to push her over the edge and into the arms of someone more deserving? Take a journey with these high school sweethearts. Book Synopsis Love Letters to You by : William Thompson
Download or read book Love Letters to You written by William Thompson and published by Dog Ear Publishing. This book was released on 2017-03-08 with total page 100 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hello, everyone! My name is William O. Thompson, Jr. I was born the sixth child of eleven. I have three wonderful brothers and seven beautiful sisters. I was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on March 3, 1967. I moved to Columbia, South Carolina, in 2003, and I been here ever since. I am the proud father of eight children; I have five beautiful daughters and three very handsome sons. I have two failed marriages, and I have seen a lot of pain in my years, so through all my pain, I gave birth to this book. It is dedicated to the woman I have been looking for all my life. I am in love with you, but I don’t know who you are, but I do know we share the same heart. If you happen to find me through this book, then you will find us, and some of the poems are for all those who are going through a rough time in their life and relationships—those who really want to be loved and give their love to that special someone. But people like us must beware that we are light, and those who lurk in the shadows of darkness seek to destroy our hearts and everything that’s good. I have been in two bad relationships and have seen the darkest side of life. That was so devastating to me, but I never let it destroy the man I am. Instead, I just put words to my pain (and yours) and all the things I see in this world. So I am a voice, expressing for you and me. My heart is still full of love, and I am waiting patiently for the one I can give my all to. So I hope this book of love letters to you finds you, and you find us.

Book Synopsis Tears On My Pillow by : Narelle Biedermann
Download or read book Tears On My Pillow written by Narelle Biedermann and published by Random House Australia. This book was released on 2011-10-26 with total page 331 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Don't forget your cotton underwear, girls!" Most books that look at the involvement of Australians in the Vietnam War rarely allude to the role of nurses. But war and nursing are unequivocally linked. A total of 43 Australian Army nursing sisters were sent to Vietnam between April 1967 and November 1971, undertaking tours of up to 12 months. The nurses were assigned to a military hospital in a war zone with little advanced preparation, particularly as clinicians with exposure to trauma, critical care or theatre. The contribution of these women undoubtedly affected many soldiers in profound ways. Tears on My Pillow describes the experiences of nursing in the Vietnam War using the words, voices and photographs of these servicewomen. These veterans tell tales of femininity interspersed with the reality of the military environment through their stories of trauma, distress, tears and grief that went on for many years, and stories of underwear, fun and the basic things in life.
