Being able to focus on one subject at a time and to see it from three or more angles is the theme of these daily devotions. They have confessed with their mouth [acknowledged to others] that they have accepted Jesus to be Lord of their lives (Romans 10:9-10), so as to receive the righteousness of God [right standing with God, that brings peace with Him], which is through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe (Romans 3:22). It is a sample of our being able to cast our cares upon God, so He can perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us (1 Peter 5:10), as we cherish and embrace His Word. All the hope, correction, love, grace, encouragement, help and assurance God wants to give can be anyone's by asking Jesus into their heart. This rich everlasting relationship even with its troubles and persecutions is truly the most important, best and abundantly blessed that any and all of us can enter into!
