La méthode développée repose sur une méthode hybride entre deux méthodes directes : approches séquentielles et simultanées. Cette méthode nommée Méthode directe a tirs multiples, se caractérise par un découpage de l'horizon de temps en sous intervalles d'intégration et par une réduction de l'espace de recherche des fonctions de contrôle par une paramétrisation de ces dernières. Contrairement aux méthodes séquentielles, la méthode présentée permet de prendre en compte facilement des contraintes sur les variables d'état, ce qui représente une classe importante de problème en Génie des Procédés. De plus, la taille du problème d'optimisation reste acceptable car seules les fonctions de contrôle sont paramétrisées. Toutefois, ce problème d'optimisation est plus complexe que celui des approches séquentielles, à cause de la mise en oeuvre de contraintes de continuité (sur les variables d'état et de contrôle) entre les différents sous intervalles issus de la subdivisons du temps. Cette méthode est intégrée dans le noyau numérique de la plate forme PrODHyS. Son utilisation est illustrée au travers de trois exemples en génie des procédés

Book excerpt: De nombreux procédés industriels sont hybrides par nature, ce qui signifie que leur comportement résulte de l'évolution et de l'interaction de variables continues et de variables discrètes. Le comportement dynamique d'un système hybride peut être représenté par une succession de modes. Chaque mode est caractérisé par une modalité de l'état discret, un ensemble de contraintes de type égalité (équations d'état par exemple) et un domaine d'admissibilité ou invariant décrit par un ensemble d'inégalités. Une transition d'un mode vers un autre mode a lieu lorsque certaines conditions logiques sont vérifiées. Les transitions peuvent être provoquées par un événement externe contrôlé ou un événement interne directement lié à l'évolution continue. Le principe général de la surveillance : détection et localisation de défaillances, d'un système dynamique, consiste à comparer l'évolution en ligne du système avec les évolutions prédites à partir d'un modèle établi sous des hypothèses de fonctionnement normal et défaillant. Dans le cadre de ce travail, nous avons choisi le modèle automate hybride comme modèle de référence du SDH. Une classification des défaillances est proposée suivant que celles-ci se manifestent sur la dynamique continue et/ou sur la dynamique discrète. Sur cette base et à partir de l'automate hybride représentant toutes les évolutions physiquement possibles du système, des graphes de prédictions de fonctionnement normal GPFN et des graphes de prédictions de fonctionnement défaillant GPFD sont construits. Ces graphes, directement extraits de l'automate, permettent de représenter les trajectoires hybrides du système en fonctionnement normal et en présence de défaillances. Une méthodologie générale de surveillance est décrite sur la base de la classification des défaillances proposée et des graphes de prédiction. Des tests de cohérence sont effectués de telle sorte que les observations continues et discrètes prélevées en-ligne sur le système soient confrontées avec les évolutions décrites par les GPFN et les GPFD. Les résidus stmcturés, issus des Relations de Redondance Analytiques, sont classiquement utilisés pour la surveillance des systèmes continus. Leur utilisation est étendue pour identifier le mode de fonctionnement courant. Ceci nécessite d'introduire les notions de discernabilité et de similarité entre modes. La méthodologie de surveillance est appliquée sur l'exemple d'un système hydraulique constitué de deux réservoirs connectés.

Le développement de méthodes spécifiques de représentation, d'analyse et de commande s'impose pour prendre en compte la complexité de ces systèmes. Une classification des sdh est proposée en fonction des types de phénomènes hybrides considérés : commutations de modèle contrôlées ou autonomes, sauts du vecteur d'état contrôles ou autonomes. Des problèmes de commande sont ensuite poses et analyses pour chaque classe présentée. La recherche d'une commande optimale est posée comme un problème de minimisation d'un critère d'écart entre une trajectoire calculée et une trajectoire désirée. Une méthode de descente est appliquée dans chaque cas ; elle fait appel à l'expression du gradient du critère. Ce dernier est calculé à partir de la solution d'un système adjoint. On montre comment calculer ce système adjoint en adaptant aux cas considérés les principes généraux du calcul des variations. C'est ainsi qu'apparaissent des discontinuités sur l'état adjoint, dont on donne les expressions explicites. Ces discontinuités se retrouvent sur la commande calculée. La minimisation du critère est réalisée d'abord sans contraintes puis avec des contraintes de type borne sur la commande et sur sa dérivée, en mettant en œuvre la méthode d'uzawa. Le problème de commande par retour d'état est abordé pour les classes de sdh a commutations de modèle contrôlées et autonomes. Ceci conduit à la résolution d'équations de riccati. Chaque cas étudié est illustre par une mise en œuvre numérique qui permet de juger de l'efficacité de la méthode proposée, en termes de précision et de temps de calcul, et de conclure à la possibilité de commander des sdh par ces méthodes.
