Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: FEEL ALIVE AND CONNECTED ONCE AGAIN! Lonely No More: The Astonishing Power of Inner Bonding takes the reader on a spiritual journey of self-discovery and personal transformation, exploring the often-conflicting relationship between the false beliefs of the ego wounded self, how those false beliefs leave a person lonely and disconnected, and how to achieve true spiritual connection. Through engaging narratives and practical exercises, this book offers valuable insights into achieving a balanced, fulfilling relationship with both the self and the Divine. Throughout the book, I explore various spiritual principles and misconceptions that often hinder individuals from accessing the ever-present love and wisdom that is here for all of us. By debunking common myths, I equip readers with the tools and knowledge needed to break free from limiting beliefs and foster spiritual growth. Here’s a sampling of what you will learn: The difference between getting and sharing love. The difference between self-responsibility and self-sacrifice. The difference tween our true soul self and our ego wounded self. A road map for healing loneliness by promoting self-awareness, inner healing and personal responsibility. Healing other related conditions like anxiety, depression, shame, addictions and relationship problems. The opposite of loneliness is not a never-ending blissful, happy, problem-free state. It is feeling alive and connected once again. The ability to feel deeply, to express the gamut of one’s emotions in a healthy way, and to connect to yourself, others and life overall to address challenges and triumphs in a way that says “yes” to life, is the goal of this book.

Book excerpt: Metaphysics—the philosophical study of the nature of reality—is a dynamic sub-field which encompasses many of the most fundamental and elusive questions in contemporary analytic philosophy. A concise and focused introduction to contemporary metaphysics, This is Metaphysics: An Introduction takes readers with minimal technical knowledge of the field on a guided tour of the intellectual landscape of the discipline. Approachable and engaging, the book covers a broad range of key topics and principles in metaphysics, including classification, the nature and existence of properties, ontology, the nature of possibility and necessity, and fundamental questions concerning being and existence. Each chapter challenges readers to grapple with thought-provoking examples that build upon the seminal theoretical contributions of contemporary metaphysicians like Peter van Inwagen and David Lewis, and concludes with a “Doing Metaphysics” section encouraging readers to think through substantive metaphysical questions while weighing possible arguments and objections. A thoughtful and comprehensive introduction provides a framework for author Kris McDaniel’s pedagogical approach, and each section incorporates multi-platform online resources and plentiful footnotes to support further reading and deeper conceptual engagement. A welcome addition to the popular This is Philosophy series, This is Metaphysics is a reader-friendly survey of metaphysics for philosophy majors, undergraduates in introductory philosophy courses, and curious members of the general public interested in investigating this expansive and enigmatic area of study.

Book Synopsis No More Mean Girls by : Katie Hurley
Download or read book No More Mean Girls written by Katie Hurley and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2018-01-30 with total page 338 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this Queen Bees and Wannabes for the elementary and middle school set, child and adolescent psychotherapist Katie Hurley shows parents of young girls how to nip mean girl behavior in the bud. Once upon a time, mean girls primarily existed in high school, while elementary school-aged girls spent hours at play and enjoyed friendships without much drama. But in this fast-paced world in which young girls are exposed to negative behaviors on TV and social media from the moment they enter school, they are also becoming caught up in social hierarchies much earlier. No More Mean Girls is a guide for parents to help their young daughters navigate tricky territories such as friendship building, creating an authentic self, standing up for themselves and others, and expressing themselves in a healthy way. The need to be liked by others certainly isn't new, but this generation of girls is growing up in an age when the "like" button shows the world just how well-liked they are. When girls acknowledge that they possess positive traits that make them interesting, strong, and likeable, however, the focus shifts and their self-confidence soars; "likes" lose their importance. This book offers actionable steps to help parents empower young girls to be kind, confident leaders who work together and build each other up.

Book Synopsis Poems of Guido Gezelle by : Paul Vincent
Download or read book Poems of Guido Gezelle written by Paul Vincent and published by UCL Press. This book was released on 2016-11-14 with total page 253 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Bruges-born poet-priest Guido Gezelle(1830–1899) is generally considered one of the masters of nineteenth-century European lyric poetry. At the end of his life and in the first two decades of the twentieth century, Gezellewas hailed by the avant-garde as the founder of modern Flemish poetry. His unique voice was belatedly recognised in the Netherlands and often compared with his English contemporary Gerard Manley Hopkins (1844–1889). In this bilingual anthology, award-winning translator Paul Vincent selects a representative picture of Gezelle’soutput, from devotional through narrative, to celebratory and expressionistic. Gezelle’sfavourite themes are childhood, the Flemish landscape, friendship, nature, religion and the Flemish vernacular, and his apparently simple poems conceal a sophisticated prosody and a dialogue with spiritual and literary tradition. However, an important barrier to wider international recognition of his lyric genius up to now has been the absence of translations that do justice to the vigour and musicality of Gezelle’sWest Flemish idiom. Two of the translations included go some way to redressing the balance: ‘TheWatter-Scriever’ by Scotland’s national poet Edwin Morgan and ‘A Little Leaf . . .’ by Francis Jones. Both translators make brilliant use of their own vernaculars (Glaswegian and North Yorkshire respectively) to bring Gezelleto life for the non-Dutch-speaking reader.
Book Synopsis Boolean Circuit Rewiring by : Tak-Kei Lam
Download or read book Boolean Circuit Rewiring written by Tak-Kei Lam and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2016-03-07 with total page 234 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Demonstrates techniques which will allow rewiring rates of over 95%, enabling adoption of deep sub-micron chips for industrial applications Logic synthesis is an essential part of the modern digital IC design process in semi-conductor industry. This book discusses a logic synthesis technique called “rewiring” and its latest technical advancement in term of rewirability. Rewiring technique has surfaced in academic research since 1993 and there is currently no book available on the market which systematically and comprehensively discusses this rewiring technology. The authors cover logic transformation techniques with concentration on rewiring. For many decades, the effect of wiring on logic structures has been ignored due to an ideal view of wires and their negligible role in the circuit performance. However in today’s semiconductor technology wiring is the major player in circuit performance degeneration and logic synthesis engines can be improved to deal with this through wire-based transformations. This book introduces the automatic test pattern generation (ATPG)-based rewiring techniques, which are recently active in the realm of logic synthesis/verification of VLSI/SOC designs. Unique comprehensive coverage of semiconductor rewiring techniques written by leading researchers in the field Provides complete coverage of rewiring from an introductory to intermediate level Rewiring is explained as a flexible technique for Boolean logic synthesis, introducing the concept of Boolean circuit transformation and testing, with examples Readers can directly apply the described techniques to real-world VLSI design issues Focuses on the automatic test pattern generation (ATPG) based rewiring methods although some non-ATPG based rewiring methods such as graph based alternative wiring (GBAW), and “set of pairs of functions to be distinguished” (SPFD) based rewiring are also discussed A valuable resource for researchers and postgraduate students in VLSI and SoC design, as well as digital design engineers, EDA software developers, and design automation experts that specialize in the synthesis and optimization of logical circuits.
