Local police were outgunned and overrun by the explosion of terror, so the President unleashed the only force able to stop the killing and save the country: the U.S. TACTICAL POLICE FORCE. An elite army of super cops with ammo to burn, they powered down on the hot spots in sleek high-tech attack choppers to win the dirty war and take back the streets of America! CHOPPER COPS: BOOK THREE - New Year’s Eve, 1999. Hidden in a super fortress high in the Colorado mountains, an illegal satellite defense relay station prepares to take over an orbiting military platform in order to destroy the largest nuclear plant in Southern California. Millions will die and the entire Southwest region will be turned into a radioactive wasteland unless the crazed terrorist plot can be stopped. It’s up to the USTPF to get the job done if they can uncover the plot in time while searching for two lost members of their own team who have crashed in the brutal winter mountain wilderness.

Book excerpt: Savage Chopper is book 3 and the finale of the Savage Outlaws MC trilogy! He's a savage beast with a vicious plan to use me. He stole me for business. Then he used me for pleasure. My head is screaming at me to run for my life. But my heart is begging for just one more night with the biker. CHOPPER Women are like chewing tobacco to me: Enjoy 'em while they last, then spit 'em out when you're finished. The girl from the night at the bar was no different. One night of brutal, violent f**king, and then I sent her packing. I was sure I'd never see her again. So how the hell did she end up tied to a chair in my MC clubhouse basement? KELSEY I might die if I have to spend a single second more bent over spread-eagle for the foul, disgusting biker who's claimed me as his old lady. I need to get away from this monster and his hellhole. But how? I'd worked my way into this club because I needed closure to a mystery that's haunted me. But I never thought to have a plan for how to get out. Then Chopper kicked the door down and stole me for himself. He's everything I've been taught to fear. Violent. Vicious. Crude. Commanding. Tall and tattooed, with a body like a statue and a booming, raspy voice like the devil himself. He tells me I'm going to serve him and I'm going to like it. And as much as my inner voice is pleading with me to cut my bonds and run away as fast as my feet can carry me… I just can't do it. Because Chopper is the father of the baby in my womb.

Download or read book Hoodlum Movies written by Peter Stanfield and published by Rutgers University Press. This book was released on 2018-07-13 with total page 244 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From The Wild Angels in 1966 until its conclusion in 1972, the cycle of outlaw motorcycle films contained forty-odd formulaic examples. All but one were made by independent companies that specialized in producing exploitation movies for drive-ins, neighborhood theaters, and rundown inner city theaters. Despised by critics, but welcomed by exhibitors denied first-run films, these cheaply and quickly produced movies were made to appeal to audiences of mobile youths. The films are repetitive, formulaic, and eminently forgettable, but there is a story to tell about all of the above, and it is one worth hearing. Hoodlum Movies is not only about the films, its focus is on why and how these films were made, who they were made for, and how the cycle developed through the second half of the 1960s and came to a shuddering halt in 1972.

Book excerpt: The world has been changing for millions of years. Times we can only see through the writers of history and stories passed on from generation to generation, along with the physical ruins left behind. While the human race has evolved and excelled in technology through time, so have those who drift within the shadows. Wars have been fought, lands conquered, and people enslaved. One conflict, one struggle for ultimate power over all has been quietly smoldering within the dark reaches of the earth for thousands of years. Some walk among us; they are rumored to be nearly invincible, superior to all creatures that inhabit our world. With strength that surpasses the world's strongest of warriors, these bloodthirsty, fanged, humanlike beings are now coming out of the shadows to take what they believe should have been theirs from the beginning. Among one of the world's largest, most secretive military operations, one soldier finds himself captured in a facility controlled by the fanged monsters. Without his memory fully intact, confusion, and what might be more than a coincidence, James finds himself escaping his captors with one of their own. Now known as a traitor, Tessa has defected from the Collective, and deep-rooted feelings and emotions that have been suppressed, almost to the point of extinction, are resurrected through James's eyes. While the highly organized and well-equipped vampires decide to show their full strength to the world, the Collective sends out a group of their deadliest assassins to hunt down James and Tessa. The hunt takes them all to new levels of self-awareness and one ultimate goal-to survive. Around the world, the war on humanity is brought to light and begins to change the history books as well as mankind's misplaced self-righteousness.

Then, his entire world collapsed and came tumbling down around him like a house of cards, which would prove to be more difficult to dig his way out of than anything that had come before.
