Total stocks were about 13 million pounds lower on October 1, 19u0, than on July 1, 19u0. Virginie Fire - cured, Type 21, stocks were reported as pounds; Type 22 as pounds; Type 23 as pounds; and Type 2m as 52u,000 pounds. Stocks of Burley were reported as pounds on October 1, l9ho, about 72 million pounds lower than on July 1, l9ho, and around 70 million pounds higher than October 1 a year ago.
