Angesichts der wachsenden Bedeutung von Mobile-Learning in der heutigen Gesellschaft und der Notwendigkeit, die Sprachkompetenz von Lernenden zu fördern, ist es von Interesse zu untersuchen, inwiefern Lernprogramme und Apps auf mobilen Geräten einen unterstützenden Beitrag zur Sprachförderung leisten können. Der erste Teil der Arbeit widmet sich der Veränderung im Lernen an sich. Wie lernen Kinder heute in der digitalisierten Welt? Welchen Anforderungen stehen Sie gegenüber? Darauf aufbauend wird näher auf die Differenzlinie Migration eingegangen und mit welchen besonderen Problemen sich SchülerInnen auseinandersetzen müssen. Schließlich werden die Potenziale der digitalen Medien hinsichtlich der Sprachförderung diskutiert. In Kapitel 3 werden die Didaktik, lerntheoretische Grundlagen und M-Learning thematisiert. Im Fokus des 4. Kapitels steht die Forschung zum Thema digitale Medien, im Besonderen soll ein Projekt näher vorgestellt werden. Auch die Rahmenbedingungen für den optimalen Einsatz im Zusammenhang mit der Lehrer:innenausbildung werden zur Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage herangezogen. Anschließend erfolgt eine reflektierende Verknüpfung der bis dahin erzielten Ergebnisse. Mit dem Fazit wird ein Ausblick gegeben, bei dem über mögliche weitere Fragestellungen nachgedacht wird.

Book excerpt: This study analyses employers' support for the introduction of industry-specific minimum wages as a cost-raising strategy in order to deter market entry. Using a unique data set consisting of 800 firms in the German service sector, we show that high-productivity employers support minimum wages. We further find some evidence that minimum wage support is higher in industries and regions with low barriers to entry. This is particularly the case in East Germany, where the perceived threat of low-wage competition from Central and Eastern European countries is relatively high. In addition, firms paying collectively agreed wages are more strongly in favour of minimum wages.
