Book excerpt: When one is been robbed of all his properties by darkness, including his soul and all his entire life and family, he cannot fight darkness to reclaim all what he is being robbed. He is totally defeated because the power of darkness is stronger than him. Sitting in limbo for someone to bail you from your misery, which you call it a miracle in a matter of a second is insignificant. What we should understand is driving a negative energy force out of the front door, another negative force enters through the window with an angelic appearance with sweet melody of the taste of music you would like to hear. So waiting and sitting in limbo and depending on someone to bail you, you are living in a fantasy world that consists of hallucinated clergy and day dreamers. No one can create a paradise for you, rather it is you who hold the key to your freedom and eternity. When darkness steals all your properties and soul, just hang all your worries, just like one hangs his clothes on a wall. Fight, cling to the universal light for we do look or search for our missing items in darkness with the light. You cannot fight darkness with darkness, neither quench fire with fire but with water. Light is the main source and a combatant to darkness. Without light in you, no matter what miracle for a better change, sooner or later, the negativity covers or takes back the center seat. But once you fight to claim an unquenchable light, there will be no more loopholes in you or a back door for the return of darkness. To survive all the great battles, you must conquer and rule yourself with the inner peace of light to reinstate the lost innocence that is not borrowed identity but the undefiled. Peace and love. Amen Amen Amen

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the New York Times bestselling author of The Zookeeper's Wife, an ambitious and enlightening work that combines an artist's eye with a scientist's erudition to illuminate, as never before, the magic and mysteries of the human mind. Long treasured by literary readers for her uncommon ability to bridge the gap between art and science, celebrated scholar-artist Diane Ackerman returns with the book she was born to write. Her dazzling new work, An Alchemy of Mind, offers an unprecedented exploration and celebration of the mental fantasia in which we spend our days—and does for the human mind what the bestselling A Natural History of the Senses did for the physical senses. Bringing a valuable female perspective to the topic, Diane Ackerman discusses the science of the brain as only she can: with gorgeous, immediate language and imagery that paint an unusually lucid and vibrant picture for the reader. And in addition to explaining memory, thought, emotion, dreams, and language acquisition, she reports on the latest discoveries in neuroscience and addresses controversial subjects like the effects of trauma and male versus female brains. In prose that is not simply accessible but also beautiful and electric, Ackerman distills the hard, objective truths of science in order to yield vivid, heavily anecdotal explanations about a range of existential questions regarding consciousness, human thought, memory, and the nature of identity.

Book excerpt: The Lotus Flower is a collection of poetry about healing; mother nature; love; relationships; spirituality; religion; depression amongst many other subjects. The Lotus Flower stays close to mother nature throughout. The poems were written in order to heal from mental health illness and gain a new life of spirituality and wisdom. The poetry depicts life in its minute form and brings small things to life. The poetry is written from a feminist point of view covering many areas of femininity and mother nature. Beginning with the poem 'My Brand New Book,' shows my second chance in life of writing and living, still staying natural to my environment and my experiences. As the poems develop and come out of their shell I write about depresssion and relationships, asking the question: Who am I ? continuously. The title is inspired from the poem 'About Ancestor Voices' and it was after this poem my poetry was growing into another dimension, especially the lines: ' The lakes are laid with the Lotus, As they have fought from the depths of waters', Carrying hope, light and purity in their shield like petals.'The poetry develops into 'My World' and 'A Poetess Grows' showing the development in the poetry reflecting life. As it develops I express the importance of childhood and religion. As identity in finding life back is explored I return to religion and back to nature. After writing 'The Phoenix' the poetry expresses love and resurrection and how much we can learn from mother nature.

The characters are the human vessel and the silent voice within the Gentle Spirit. The vessel is called to encourage the world to stop, take a breath and see the little things in creation that can give pleasure, but a lesson in life as well. The painted words describe what is seen in creation, in hopes you see well enough that you physically feel you are there and digging deep into the subject of spirituality in a simplistic way. As each poem or comment is written, the vessel realizes it speaks to her fifi rst. She in turn hopes as she shares, it helps others on their climb in the process of discovering who they are and why they are here. She also knows a gift has been given and deeply respects it.

This creation, The Language of Nature, celebrates nature in its holistic form, from physical to mental to spiritual. The most beautiful aspects of divine nature and spirituality presented in this book can help in the healing of your body, mind and spirit, as well as allow you to take your consciousness levels to a higher plane of existence.
