Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the midst of chaos in years from the past, God showed me love. A small glimpse of light in the shadows of darkness that saved my life. Going from depression, addiction, self-hate, self-harm, and extreme anger. A lifelong progression of tears and laughter. Praise, thanks, and healing in times of the loss of a child. A young man's first glimpse of God's light while in prison. All through the words of heartfelt poetry. Now in the face of a pandemic where we cannot attend church and worship together, you and I can hold hands while social distancing and press closer to God. We can shut out the world around us for a short time and take a minute to nourish our hearts, souls, and minds. We are all the same with common struggles. These words of poetry were written for self-help, for praise, and for healing. Testimony of the signs and wonders God shows his children and wants to show you. For the lost and those who are found. For the weary and the strong. A fountain of healing water to drink from. There is hope in the darkest places, even in this day and age. Chase depression away, and replace it with words of love. There is something for everyone within these pages. Miracles, blessings, and healing await you.

Newly translated by Maria Boulding, O.S.B., whose masterful translation of Augustines Confessions in the same series has been praised as being of a different level of excellence from practically anything else in the market (Bishop Rowan Williams, Monmouth, England). As the psalms are a microcosm of the Old Testament, so the Expositions of the Psalms can be seen as a microcosm of Augustinian thought. They recapitulate and focus the experiences of Augustines personal life, his theological reflections, and his pastoral concerns as Bishop of Hippo.

This book was released on with total page 866 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Volume 49 Sermons 2812-2863 Charles Spurgeon (19 June 1834 – 31 January 1892) is one of the church’s most famous preachers and Christianity’s foremost prolific writers. Called the “Prince of Preachers,” he was one of England's most notable ministers for most of the second half of the nineteenth century, and he still remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations today. His sermons have spread all over the world, and his many printed works have been cherished classics for decades. In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to more than 10 million people, often up to ten times each week. He was the pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel (later the Metropolitan Tabernacle) in London for 38 years. He was an inexhaustible author of various kinds of works including sermons, commentaries, an autobiography, as well as books on prayer, devotionals, magazines, poetry, hymns and more. Spurgeon was known to produce powerful sermons of penetrating thought and divine inspiration, and his oratory and writing skills held his audiences spellbound. Many Christians have discovered Spurgeon's messages to be among the best in Christian literature. Edward Walford wrote in Old and New London: Volume 6 (1878) quoting an article from the Times regarding one of Spurgeon’s meetings at Surrey: “Fancy a congregation consisting of 10,000 souls, streaming into the hall, mounting the galleries, humming, buzzing, and swarming—a mighty hive of bees—eager to secure at first the best places, and, at last, any place at all. After waiting more than half an hour—for if you wish to have a seat you must be there at least that space of time in advance—Mr. Spurgeon ascended his tribune. To the hum, and rush, and trampling of men, succeeded a low, concentrated thrill and murmur of devotion, which seemed to run at once, like an electric current, through the breast of every one present, and by this magnetic chain the preacher held us fast bound for about two hours. It is not my purpose to give a summary of his discourse. It is enough to say of his voice, that its power and volume are sufficient to reach every one in that vast assembly; of his language, that it is neither high-flown nor homely; of his style, that it is at times familiar, at times declamatory, but always happy, and often eloquent; of his doctrine, that neither the 'Calvinist' nor the 'Baptist' appears in the forefront of the battle which is waged by Mr. Spurgeon with relentless animosity, and with Gospel weapons, against irreligion, cant, hypocrisy, pride, and those secret bosom-sins which so easily beset a man in daily life; and to sum up all in a word, it is enough to say of the man himself, that he impresses you with a perfect conviction of his sincerity.” More than a hundred years after his death, Charles Spurgeon’s legacy continues to effectively inspire the church around the world. For this reason, Delmarva Publications has chosen to publish the complete works of Charles Spurgeon.

Book excerpt: Poet, short story writer, critic and novelist, Conrad Aiken (1889-1973) has been called the most metaphysical, the most learned, and the most modern of poets. With writing that reflects an intense interest in psychological, philosophical, and scientific issues, Aiken remains a unique influence upon modern writers and critics today. In his lifetime, Aiken received many awards including the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1930 and the National Book Award for Poetry in 1954. He served as the Consultant in Poetry at the Library of Congress from 1950-1952. Selected Poems contains Aiken's own choice of the best and most representative of his poems, spanning more than forty years of his work. Harold Bloom has contributed a new Foreword to reintroduce Aiken to a new generation of readers. The inclusion of several pivotal poems from previous editions broadens the scope of the work to represent Aiken's legacy.

Each possessed of an appetite for pleasure that only her destined mate can satisfy. Twelve men are expected in Incendium, each with special powers of his own, each with the gift to claim one dragon princess's heart forever. In Wyvern's Mate, Drakina intends to fulfill her obligation as the oldest daughter by seducing her destined mate and winning her freedom. Troy's lovemaking leaves Drakina hungry for more, until she discovers that he's an assassin and she's his intended victim. Will his MindBending powers condemn him in the fiery princess's view or see him saved? In Wyvern's Prince, Gemma agrees to an arranged marriage with the crown prince of Regalia, to build an alliance between the two kingdoms. She expects duty, not love, but finds both when her new husband's discredited twin brother proves to be her destined mate—but Venero has been enchanted. Can Gemma break the spell cast upon her prince or will she share his fate? In Wyvern's Warrior, Thalina intercepts an intruder in Incendium's palace, allowing herself to be taken captive to learn his plan. To her delight, Acion is a highly developed android and she wants nothing more than to study him thoroughly, especially his amorous abilities—but Acion's presence on Incendium violates the law. Will he be exterminated before Thalina satisfies her curiosity? This bundle includes the first three romances in the Dragons of Incendium series, as well as three short stories linked to the series: Nero's Dream, Arista's Legacy, and Kraw's Secret. *** "I'm excited to see that Deborah Cooke has returned to the world of dragons in this exciting new tale of adventure!"
