Um dies zu ermöglichen, wird sich zunächst dem Begriff "sexueller Missbrauch" angenähert und ein statistischer Einblick in die Häufigkeit von sexuellem Missbrauch gegeben. Erarbeitet werden soll, welche Risiko- und Schutzfaktoren es gibt, wie Täter vorgehen und welche Folgen sexueller Missbrauch für die Betroffenen haben kann. Im Anschluss daran wird dargelegt, welche Bestandteile ein Schutzkonzept allgemein ausmachen und wie diese jeweils aufgebaut sind. Weiter wird sich mit den entsprechenden rechtlichen Vorgaben auseinandergesetzt und mit der Frage, warum Schutzkonzepte an Schulen elementar sind. Dies wird mit einem Fallbeispiel einer Einrichtung aus der Umgebung von Ludwigsburg unterlegt. Exemplarisch soll erklärt werden, wie diese Institution den Aufarbeitungsprozess angegangen ist und wie dort die erstellten Schutzkonzepte spezifisch wirken. Anschließend wird eine Fachberatungsstelle vorgestellt. Die schriftlich geführte Befragung wird zuletzt unter Berücksichtigung der zuvor dargelegten theoretischen Informationen ausgewertet und zusammengefasst. Abschließend werden Kooperationspartner vorgestellt, an die sich Schulen bezüglich des Erstellens von Schutzkonzepten, aber auch bezüglich allgemeiner Fragen zu sexueller Gewalt, wenden können.

An der Klinik für Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie/Psychotherapie Ulm wurde in der Konsequenz 2011-2014 unter Leitung von Prof. Jörg M. Fegert der Online-Kurs „Prävention von sexuellem Kindesmissbrauch“ für medizinisch-therapeutische und pädagogische Berufe entwickelt. Das vorliegende Handbuch, das sich aus den Grundlagen- und Rechtstexten des positiv evaluierten Online-Kurses zusammensetzt, bietet durch die Beiträge namhafter Autorinnen und Autoren eine in diesem Umfang und in dieser Praxisnähe bislang in Deutschland noch nie präsentierte Darstellung des fachlichen Basiswissens zu dieser Thematik. Die Darstellung praktischer Bezüge, konkreter Vorgehensweisen und relevanter rechtlicher Aspekte soll dabei zu einem besseren theoretischen Verständnis und einer Erhöhung der Handlungskompetenz im Umgang mit (potentiellen) Missbrauchsfällen in der beruflichen Praxis beitragen. Nur in diesem Buch erhältlich sind Konzepte und Übungsmaterialien, die im Rahmen des Online-Kurses für ergänzende Präsenzkurse erstellt und evaluiert wurden. Nach einer umfassenden Definition wird bzgl. des Täters auf folgende Fragestellungen besonders Wert gelegt: Gibt es Tätertypen? Welchen Bezug haben sie zum Kind? Welche Strategien nutzen sie, um sexuelle Handlungen an Kindern zu begehen? Im Anschluss daran werden Fakten und Daten vorgestellt, um ein Bild über die Häufigkeit des sexuellen Missbrauchs in Deutschland sowie über das Opfer-Täter-Verhältnis zu verschaffen. Es wird auch geklärt, warum drei Viertel aller sexuellen Missbrauchsfälle ausgerechnet auf Mädchen ausgeübt werden. Des Weiteren greife ich ausführlich die Frage auf, wie sich die Opfer von sexuellem Missbrauch langfristig entwickeln. Im darauffolgenden Kapitel wird erläutert, warum Prävention bereits in der Grundschule so bedeutsam ist, und was in einem Präventionsprogramm alles enthalten sein sollte. Daraufhin wird ein Präventionsbaustein mit einem konkreten Praxisbeispiel näher ausgeführt. Zum Schluss äußere ich meine Meinung in einem kurz gehaltenen Fazit, wobei zum einen auf meine eigenen Erfahrungen bzgl. Aufklärung und zum anderen auf meine Absicht für die Zukunft eingegangen wird.

Book excerpt: Anthropologists have written a great deal about the coastal adaptations and seafaring traditions of Pacific Islanders, but have had much less to say about the significance of rivers for Pacific island culture, livelihood and identity. The authors of this collection seek to fill that gap in the ethnographic record by drawing attention to the deep historical attachments of island communities to rivers, and the ways in which those attachments are changing in response to various forms of economic development and social change. In addition to making a unique contribution to Pacific island ethnography, the authors of this volume speak to a global set of issues of immense importance to a world in which water scarcity, conflict, pollution and the degradation of riparian environments afflict growing numbers of people. Several authors take a political ecology approach to their topic, but the emphasis here is less on hydro-politics than on the cultural meaning of rivers to the communities we describe. How has the cultural significance of rivers shifted as a result of colonisation, development and nation-building? How do people whose identities are fundamentally rooted in their relationship to a particular river renegotiate that relationship when the river is dammed to generate hydro-power or polluted by mining activities? How do blockages in the flow of rivers and underground springs interrupt the intergenerational transmission of local ecological knowledge and hence the ability of local communities to construct collective identities rooted in a sense of place?
