Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Soon to be a Netflix movie starring Gabrielle Union! Will a forty-year-old woman with everything on the line – her high-stakes career, ticking biological clock, bank account – risk it all for a secret romance with the one person who could destroy her comeback, for good? Jenna Jones, former It-girl fashion editor, is forty, broke and desperate for a second chance. When she’s dumped by her longtime fiancé and fired from Darling magazine, she begs for a job from her arch nemesis, Darcy Vale. Darcy, the beyond-bitchy publisher of StyleZine.com, agrees to hire her rival – only because her fashion site needs a jolt from Jenna’s old school cred. But Jenna soon realizes she’s in over her head. Jenna’s working with digital-savvy millennials half her age, has never even “Twittered,” and pretends to still be a Fashion Somebody while living a style lie (she sold her designer wardrobe to afford her sketched-out studio, and now quietly wears Walmart’s finest). What’s worse is that the twenty-two-year-old videographer assigned to shoot her web series is driving her crazy. Wildly sexy with a smile Jenna feels in her thighs, Eric Combs is way off-limits – but almost too delicious to resist.

This book was released on 2012-09-30 with total page 292 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For those at the high end of the trafficking chain, the sex trade is an alluring and lucrative business: the supply of girls is constant, the costs of operations are low, and interference from law enforcement is weak to non-existent. Anti-trafficking organizations and governments commonly appropriate such market metaphors of supply and demand as they struggle with the moral-political dimensions of a business involving trade, labor, prostitution, migration, and national borders. But how apt are they? Is the sex trade really the perfect business? This provocative new book examines the social worlds and interrelationships of traffickers, victims, and trafficking activists along the Thai-Lao border. It explores local efforts to reconcile international legal concepts, the bureaucratic prescriptions of aid organizations, and global development ideologies with on-the-ground realities of sexual commerce. Author Sverre Molland provides an insider’s view of recruitment and sex commerce gleaned from countless conversations and interviews in bars and brothels—a view that complicates popular stereotypes of women forced or duped into prostitution by organized crime. Molland’s fine-grained ethnography shows a much more varied picture of friends recruiting friends, and families helping relatives. A recruiter rationalizes her act as a benefit or favor to a village friend; relationships between prostitutes and bar owners are cloaked in kin terms and familial metaphors. Sex work in the Mekong region follows patron-client cultural scripts about mutual help and obligation, which makes distinguishing the victims from the traffickers difficult. Molland’s research illuminates the methods and motivations of recruiters as well as the economic incentives and predicaments of victims. The Perfect Business? is the first book to go beyond the usual focus on migrants and sex commerce to explore the institutional context of anti-trafficking. Its author, himself a former advisor for a United Nations anti-trafficking project, raises crucial questions about how an increasingly globalized development aid sector responds to what might more accurately be described as an extraterritorial development challenge of human mobility. His book will offer insights to students and scholars in anthropology, gender studies, and human geography, as well as anyone interested in one of the most controversial issues of development policy.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In making love, one is elevated beyond the carnal desires it satisfies. For the religious, it is Divine; for those who are not religiously inclined, it is still a spiritual experience, one of seamless solidarity, a unity of two as one that defies mere orgasmic stimulation. You don’t have to make love to have sex. Even strangers can be sexually attracted and have an orgasmic escapade. But in the act of making love, there is symbolic meaning that is felt through-and-through the sex act. Two in love are joined, in life, and the sexual expression of this unison is deeply felt in the sex act itself. This is sexual intimacy, the making of love, the likes of which is rarely, if ever, seen outside a loving relationship. There is no escape from the philosophical dimensions of such a loving relationship. It is as abstract as it is concrete in the ideals that ground it. There is a mystery about it, a kind of transcendent experience that defies translation into words. Making and being in love are thus joined at the hip. Loving relationships make the bed in which true lovers sleep. Unfortunately, many relationships flounder or never get off the ground. Just having sex may ease the tension, but it then becomes a means, not truly an end-in-itself. The moment the sex act ends, the couple may retreat and fall into discord. It is an oasis in a barren desert that provides temporary relief, a titillating, temporary escape from reality. This book can help you to overcome the obstacles, the unlovable habits that encumber your relationship, both inside and outside the bedroom. It can help to create the harmonic balance between your sex life and other aspects of your personal and interpersonal relationships, which are preludes to making and being in love. To accomplish this, it applies a five-step method based on Logic-Based Therapy & Consultation (LBTC), a popular form of evidence-based, philosophical counseling modality. First, it introduces you to six types of unlovable ways of thinking and acting and helps you to identify the ones that may be sabotaging your own relationship. Second, it shows you how to counter these self-defeating habits with certain lovable goals (“virtues of love”). Third, it helps you to identify and embrace a personal “love philosophy” that empowers you to reach for your lovable goals. Fourth, it provides core philosophical ideas that are key to any successful quest for romantic love. Fifth, it helps you construct a behavioral plan that applies your philosophies to making constructive changes in your relationship. The latter may require making changes both inside and outside your relationship. Thus, this book also shows you how the problems you are having in one area of your life (at work, in your social life, etc.) can affect the quality of your relationship, inside and outside the bedroom, and it offers guidance, including self-improvement exercises, to overcome these impediments and attain enduring love and sexual intimacy.

Most people sleepwalk through life – never once waking up – and much the same is true of their sex life. Vanilla sex, missionary position sex, is barely sex at all. You need to get your kink on before you can enjoy true sex. Lucid sex is all about understanding the immensely powerful unconscious forces that impact our sex lives. By mastering these – via role play, ritual, BDSM, and so on – you can find out all about your deep self, and not only vastly improve the quality of your sex life, but also become a better and much more powerful person in the process. You can use kink to achieve Jungian individuation. What's not to like? Imagine how much happier you would be if you understood why you search for those particular things on Pornhub that so get you going, and if your actual sex life reflected what you constantly dream of. How do you ask for the sex you really want, but are too scared to mention? It's time to get lucid – sexually, and in every other part of your life … because they're all connected.

In Sex Robots & Vegan Meat, award-winning journalist and documentary-maker Jenny Kleeman takes us on a journey into the world of the people who are changing what it means to be human. Focusing on four central pillars of the human experience–birth, food, sex, and death—Kleeman examines the people who are driving some truly amazing (and perhaps worrying) innovations. We are on the brink of seismic changes in the ways we live and die, from babies grown in artificial wombs to lab-produced meat; from sex robots able to hold polite conversation (and otherwise) to being able to choose to end our days with the perfect, painless, automated death. Our journey from cradle to grave is developing in ways which involve more and more technology, and less and less human interaction. Might these advances in technology serve to rob us of our humanity? In this book Jenny Kleeman takes a profound look at what the future might have in store—and asks some provocative questions along the way. Jenny Kleeman places these scientists front and center and asks what is driving and motivating them? Are they entrepreneurs in it for the greater good of human advancement, or might there be more sinister—i.e. monetary—motivations in play? Gleeman is a skilled and subtle interrogator and travels with the reader on a fascinating exploration of the changes afoot, their implications for who we are as a society—and as human beings. It's an immersive, eye-opening, and hugely entertaining journey into a world of extraordinary visionaries on the frontline of a social revolution.

Book excerpt: Not the Second Sex is about some of the women I had met around the world in the last thirty years. These women had instilled a firm belief in me that women are in fact not the second sex and that a man appears to be superior only because they allow him to be so. Laila “All that investment is only for removing the dress and become naked at the end of the day in front of a man,” Krishna said to Laila, a gorgeous fashion model in Mumbai, when she was bolstering about the efforts she had to take to dress and make up. Annie “Given a choice, a woman will always choose a man with whom she would be happy rather than comfortable. A man never understands that.” Rachel “Author Rebecca West said, ‘I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat.” Maitreyi Maitreyi asked Yajnavalkya her husband, the great intellect and renowned sage, “If you leave me with all your wealth to seek the Brahman, what shall I do with that by which I cannot become an immortal?.”

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever wondered what it was that appeals to woman about Italian men? French men also have a certain "je ne sais quoi" but do you know why this is? In this book, I will explain why the appeal is so universal among women and what it is that these men have that perhaps you don't. Ask a woman about a fantasy romance, and no doubt, the idea of making love with a passionate Italian may figure in her dreams. It's not that she's even interested in being with a man of another culture. It's just that Italians have long since learned the art of lovemaking and do it with panache.Men, on the other hand, may think of an Italian woman as being hot, but it's the combination of man and woman that makes them like that. So what is it in the approach that is different? What makes a woman explode with passion? Well, I have been studying the subject for a rather long time and my findings may not be what you expect to read. However, they are accurate, bearing in mind both the male and female point of view. You may think that your macro approach to sex is working, but you may actually be surprised to know that being macho is low on the list of priorities when it comes to pleasing a woman in bed. Macho men are all about proving what they can do. They are less interested in caring about what the woman thinks or feels. These are the guys who boast about knowing all the secret parts of a woman, but who are least likely to be in the know. Why? Well, the fact is that women don't usually discuss their delicate parts with someone who has this attitude. Thus, it will only be by a sheer fluke of nature that she may actually climax during lovemaking. Wouldn't you prefer that your approach was what made sure she would be satisfied? As you read through the book, be prepared to see that a traditionalist approach is not going to gain you any brownie points. If you really want to make a woman sexually stimulated and happy, you need to appreciate that her part in the whole act of lovemaking is every bit as vital as his. It's not just a case of how hard you are. Neither is it a case of how much thrust you have. It's a two-way process and she needs to feel secure enough to let go. That won't happen if you don't teach her that she can relax and be herself with you, and most women can't do that, left to their own devices. It's an unfair world, though the classic view of a woman is that she doesn't have opinions when it comes to sex, or at least should not express them. If you are of this opinion, then this book is not written for you. It is written for those open minded enough to realize that the part a woman and man play in bed is equal or for those who wish it to be. I will show you what Italian men do that you may never have thought of!Here is a Preview of what You'll Learn...The Approach The purpose of foreplayThe Different Types of Climax for a WomanThe heavy uncontrollable climaxLocating the G-spotSex Toys....
